| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Okay... This was... kind of a... normal episode ? I still don't get where is Gonzo going with this series. Is it some sort of parody without any sense of logic ? 'Till now, the series just doesn't have any up nor down in any possible perspective, but it still seems to try hard to be a heroic fantasy anime And just what the fuck happened with Neeba-tachi, anyway ? Weren't they supposed to be important characters ?... |
They are neither plants nor animals. They differ from other forms of life such as the micro-organisms and the fungi. Instead they resemble the primeval body of life and are generally known as Mushi. Their existence and appearance are unknown to many and only a limited number of humans are aware of them. |
| I think they're focusing on Jil at the moment to try to flesh out his character and possibly have him later show Neeba and everyone else that he wasn't a complete loss and that he can actually do something to help the team. And at this point, I think the story'll stay with these two teams and maybe have a confrontation in the future when they're closer to the 'top'? I do wish Gonzo was more clear about where this series is going though. |

| Nice Coopa episode, although more predictable than the last few. Although I'm a little uncertain where it's all going somehow this is still the most enjoyable show I'm watching this season. I didn't expect that. |

The shows supposed to be about his journey to reach the top and kill Druaga. Neeba and his team are important characters but don't play the main character role and probably wont till the end when there will be some kind of conflict between the two groups and then a resolution. As for the show as a whole, I think its doing pretty good. The whole concept is to make an anime based on an MMO (kind of like .hack). The show clearly isn't going for 100% parody and jokes. They actually want to add some seriousness to some of the episodes. The first ep in my opinion was stupidly awful and if the series stayed like that I probably would have dropped this series. I'm happy that they added this type of seriousness and still find time to drop 1 or two eps full of jokes and parody's. It keeps everyone happy. |

| whether or not it's actually a parody, i still like the series. this episode went by very fast for me - so i must've enjoyed it. while i've seen .hack//sign and //root (and really enjoyed them), this seems much more similar to something like Record of Lodoss War. |

| with every episode in this fun yet silly fantasy fluff you can see the studio going into every direction at once. it's almost schizo at points. since it now picks up on individual characters we can expect some 4-5 spotlight episodes soon. |

| Yes, last one was so epic and this one was so normal. ^^ There were a few good points, but the rest was generic this time. Though, it was not really boring. But I will keep watching even if it's just for the hope of another episode 5. ^^ |

| I thought the lightning stone thing was kinda cool but that was more from a bored standpoint. the fighting was too brief. decent but too brief to really enjoy. |
| I don't have any problem with this episode. It was normal, but not boring at all. No Neeba, no problem. Jil is the main character. Get over it. Coopa showed us how brave she can be!! |

| Yeah, I'd have to agree with the normal episode. I don't find Coopa cute at all probably because of her voice which irritates me. :( Anyways, Bridge of Lightning is still quite good. |
