The song is just too perfect for Part 3. I think it fits even better than a song by DIO, since we already have a metal-ish opening, and most of the references in part 3 are pop references. |

So even if he did use Hamon in the beginning, that still wouldn't have taken care of The Lovers. Also, in the manga Joseph didn't even use the Ripple against The Lovers, this scene is totally filler and fanservice which is not necessarily a bad thing. I think everyone was glad to see Hamon once again. |

I remember in one of the early episodes that they said Jotaro doesn't even have to think about it, and that his stand's reflexes are automatic. Does Jotaro have a way of suppressing his stand if he doesn't want to use it or something? If he does, then why did he need to lock himself up at the beginning of the series? |

Because, at the beginning, he just summoned it as a reflex and even denied his support. He didn't know what was a stand and how to proper summon it. Stands are beings controlled with a strong will. As he recognized it, it was not really a big deal for him to control it. |

Well, it's more so that Star Platinum didn't sense any threat to Jotaro's life, so unlike the time he tried to shoot himself in the head it didn't have any reason to act on it's own. There are other stands that demonstrate this kind of mostly passive and protective personality. |

| Seriously??? The Lovers Stand creating a concert scene in Joseph's brain? This show is amazing. But I can't help but worry that Joseph suffered brain damage, no matter how small. That's not good...At least Steely Dan got the punishment he deserved. Yea, Jotaro! God Dan was an ass. So is Joseph using the Ripple truly a filler? It's a great filler then. It just doesn't make sense for him to just forget he ever had the power, and that moment was just perfect for him to use it. Awesome job, David Productions. JoJo is really fun, but keeping track of established canon is not its strong point. Also, how does Polnareff even stay so alive and well? The man is slashed and poked and hacked to bloody mess pretty much every episode. Speedwagon Foundation medicine must be amazing. |
