Any real slice of life, so Clannad AS, White Album 2, Angel Beats, and just maybe, but not really, Golden Time.

Mirai Nikki, rewatched last night and although I didn't cry I almost did (probably didn't cry cuz I was streaming and watching at the same time as my friend over skype kek, was annoying me a bit because he didn't completely understood certain parts of the story and kept asking me if things were xxxx near the end to try and guess what the end would do)

Clannad did, like anyone else who watched it before. It hit so hard that i got depressed for a week, thinking about the events Tomoya have faced.

Air, Clannad because of sadness.

Madoka Magica made me feel hollow inside. o.o

I was actually quite surprised to discover how much it effected me emotionally.

After watching Madoka Magica I felt like I needed to rethink life
Guilty Crown and Gurren Lagann made me a bit sad too.

Watamote made me quite sad because I felt sorry for Tomoko.
Madoka Magica because first, you think it's a plain and cute magical girl anime and then you got such a plot twist. It made me really depressed.
And also Shingeki no Kyojin for the feeling of hopelessness.

Well there's the typical sad anime like Clannad and Angel Beats.
Other than that I guess Welcome to the NHK was pretty depressing.

Welcome to the NHK- you could guess why but especially the

Grave of the fireflies- the only anime that my sis introduced me to (shes more casual) really depressing especially since I watched it with my sis.

That would be Furiko, but only the version with Giles Lamb's music attached to it. God that 3 minute video messed me up emotionally for hours afterwards.

If anything. Watching the more 'depressing' shows make me a tad more appreciative of my current state. While this usually entails MCs who are depressed. A show that just downright depresses me while I"m watching it is also a good ride imo. So, no, not really. Watching cartoons is always an enjoyable experience for me.

There are shows that I watch slowly because I want to savor it, and shows where I watch slowly because marathoning would make me want to hide in a dark little corner for a while.

Now and Then, Here and There was the latter.

Pretty much any Anime where my favourite character dies or just pure sadness.

Some scenes in FMA made me feel depressed sometimes (music plays its role too) but I'd get over it in 2 days or so. Then... it happens again. :(

Nana left seriously depressed with each episode. Like depressed I mean suicidal depressed, not Clannad bullshit. Somehow the anime just reminded that life is a fucking misery and only pain awaits us. It took me like 3 months to complete because it was too painful for me. I guess I could somehow relate to the characters because of their mistakes as I'm an useless person.

There was this anime about a teenage girl who spent the last year of middle school playing dating games so she could make her high-school debut. When she finally started high school, she had lost all abilities to talk normally to people and didn't understand why she wasn't popular… And in the end, she did not change at all. No change in her status, problems, and character. That was incredibly depressing. Felt hopeless after watching it.

Code Geass for me, I saw a man seize the world by the balls and then piss his life away like it was nothing at all. All that he had achieved was a pointless rendition of a sacrificial lamb.

5 centimeters per second, only seen the first movie though but it made feel kind of empty.
Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Idk it made me sad and uneasy.
Clannad although I don't really remember.
Another, isolation is always sad.
Yosuga no Sora, ugh hate this one.
Zankyou no Terror, same as Brynhildr, I have a problem with child experiments, so uncomfortable.

Probably more but these came to mind, Watamote actually cheered me up in a fucked up way.
