Though my writing is always heavily influenced by my current mood, so I can say it is one of the major factors that influence my progress since there are some parts I can only write on a specific mood.

BTW, I finished Hibike Euphonium recently and really enjoyed it

Right? Not only do they have lots of traditional Japanese words, but it's more dialogue oriented with a fast pace transition. I can even barely keep up sometimes even when I'm just reading translated subs ><

Ahh so you liked the SAO series? That's nice
I only watched the first season, but I found it to my liking as well
There was just one scene I particularly found extremely disgusting, which left the series with quite the bad rep for me
But I have been planning for watching the rest of the series for a long time
Probably once things get calmer, the holiday seasons is just too much ><

I kinda imagined watching the monogatari series or tatami galaxy without using any subs, it made my head spin! Yeah, there was a group where they always upload high quality raw subs before, but I forgot the name. I only recalled it since I mistakenly got an anime from them three times thinking it was translated The user comments on their page were overwhelmingly positive, I neglected to check if it was raw or not. Where do you get yours btw?

That's great then! I already encountered a number of them, mostly on the "not so interesting as I've initially thought" categories so I put them on a quasi-stalled state. It's been hard getting back on them though due to the number of new VNs we have been receiving so far. And most of the time when I do get back to them, I only progress so much before getting bored and stalling them once more. I guess this is the bad thing when you do have more choices available. Before, I had the patience to plow through a visual novel no matter how bad it was at first. Though most of them were still bad up to the very end, a number of them did redeem themselves when you go past the boring parts. I prefer finishing things I started after all so it's kinda sad leaving all these unfinished open boxes lying around. If I really do get the time someday, I wanted to finish the ones I started out at the very least. Especially the KNS series!

Yes... the past few days were very hectic since I got on my new job. It was definitely culture shocking, but in a good way I suppose? Traffic was pretty bad though so by the time I got home, I'm usually too exhausted to do anything else save for a light meal, then finally go to bed.

Yes, practice definitely keeps the blade from rusting
Hopefully I'll finally have the time for some formal education about it someday as I really, really wanted to learn the language as well

Well at the very least it helped me in some way back then when I was really starved for VN's due to scarce availability of translated ones

Mmmn. Well it happens to a lot of stories anyway. It is quite hard to make a satisfying ending since you cannot cater to everyone's expectations. It did tie up all loose ends in a way at the very end even if it's not in a satisfying way so it's all good.

I'm actually doing rather bad this week since I've been up outside everyday working on my requirements and all, while getting invited to random parties. I haven't been able to work on it that much! I'm so exhausted!
But yeah, I have a bit of time for today so I'm looking forward to finally finishing that scenario I've been working on today!

I highly encourage creative works. Sure it may feel cringey or might make you feel bad and foolish at the first steps, but that's the fun part about it
When you look back upon things you've done before, you may get a kick out of reminiscing about the memories that went along with them
I've done so many random and mischievous stuff in the past that I get a blast when something or someone reminds me of it
Whatever emotion it evokes, the thing is it's not entirely pointless :)

I've read Will and it does share those similarities with 428, good catch! I actually mentioned the same thing with someone as well since the story and experience in WILL is so diverse depending on which character you are using.

I'm at the last arc I believe and it has a fair amount of it which is a bit disheartening, but nevertheless I'll still finish it
Mmmn, well while most vn's have like horror or SOLs on all routes some of them have variety.
Take Shinjuku 428 for example, depending on which character you are using the genre changes from action, comedy, or even horror
Other VNs focuses more on a specific love interest like your childhood friend, tsundere classmate, teacher, etc.
And some have like specific events which have already a category of their own Yandere stuff, NTR, time travel, etc.

Mmmn well there are a massive number of new English titles out there and I'm currently playing YU-NO the remastered one
It was okay, I'm about halfway done if I'm not mistaken and it has really strong similarities with Steins Gate
Even the protagonist sounds a bit like Okarin
Storywise though out of the three routes I've played. One is stressful (since I hate "that" particular genre), while the other one is a bit dull. The first one was okay. Anyway I'm all in for the ride so I might finish that before moving on to others.. (my queue is so long now)

Haven't got that deep yet into the game so I can't say much regarding story, but everything looks great so far. And I mean great, and pretty!
Like one of the best I've seen so far, graphics-wise or art, with clean UI and soundtracks

BTW going back to your question about SG, yup I did
I can fairly say that the first anime about it was pretty solid. Of course the VN have more material than the anime (esp with the indv. endings and all), but it's one of those adapted VN's done perfectly
I also played the other VNs like Zero but I guess the first one was the best
For Linear I watched a youtube video playthrough of it iirc, since it was not translated at the time
And I was addicted for more SG at the time so yeah xD
