THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- And that ends the season. Team happy is finally together and Excellent Era is demoted to Challenger league. "Everyone in glory is afraid of me." No new season announced. |

I've re-watched the first season and Tebie Pian so many times that I was slightly dreading the eventual release of this season. Particularly after the delays. That turned out to be unnecessary, as it ended up a pitch-perfect continuation (although I certainly wasn't expecting Rou & Guo to swap places). Definitely looking forward to the potential upcoming tournament arc... which is not something I ever thought I'd say. |

Another 10/10 season! Hype for S3! Even with the studio changing the animation remained top tier. I just wish this anime was more known but since it's chinese many people will not even give it a chance. The fame SAO has should be for this. |

Darn it really was the last episode. We did not even get an announcement for the next season. Since the novel ended we should have no problems adapting everything. |

- 08:45 "A Male voice under this cute Female look. I can't get used to it, no matter what." - 13:33 YE XIU : Happy's goal is the season's champion in Pro League. - 23:50 "Everyone in Glory is afraid of me. You don't need reasons for that. That's common sense." Enjoyed that conversation between Mr. TAO & YE XIU. - Mr. TAO mentions a new character XIAO SHIQIN near the end of the episode. ================== Thank You :) |

It was exactly what was expected for the last episode. Pretty good with a good introduction for the next arc (I mean, it's obvious that this season was exclusively aimed to prepare the next season). At the moment I just hope that they confirm the next season and that it will be in 2022 (maybe even late 2021 but that's kind of difficult) and they do just like in the movie and focus a lot in the fighting scenes [since the rest of the Novel focus a lot in fighting, which makes the animation important (especially because it attracts more people lol)], not disregarding the "story part". |

Good season, though I felt a little starved for the main cast, but enjoyed it thoroughly nonetheless. This is one of those shows I wish I had discovered in a few years when more content is out, as it stands it feels like we finally got through the prelude. I really like everything that has been set up thus far I just wished that I didn't have to way so damn long for the TOURNAMENT ARC. See you guys in a couple of years lol. On a separate note, how do you feel about the novel that the show is based on, is it worth picking up? I've been burned a couple of times by absolute trash so I'm a bit more wary of web novels, though most of the ones I've read have been from Japan. |

Lol Excellent Era dropped to the challenege league eh. So Ye Qiu doesn't even need to wait till the pro league to crush them. Welp this was a build up season and this left me craving for more. Now that the team's ready up and everything's set in motion I want to see the challenger league badly. Hopefully we'll get a new season announcement soon. |

the Novel is excellent i am going to say if you are to read it YOU should start from the beginning however season 2 ended around chapter 620(because of stuff left out i would recommend you start from the beginning as a lot of information you need to know about whats going to happen has been displaced in the anime) |

Yeah, I too have been burned by a bunch of web-novels that were supposedly "So much better than the Manga" (I'm looking at you Rising of the Shield Hero, and Re:Zero, the former's case burned me so badly it stopped me from reading the Manga all together. The two web-novels read more like radio-plays that forget to tell you which character was speaking than books). The King's Avatar actually reads like a book, and you can tell who's saying what. It also helps that they translated the characters' in-game names so that you can actually tell what's an in-game name and what's an IRL name (Which is why I dropped the manga adaption for Butterfly Blue's earlier work: VRMMO: Close Combat Mage, as I couldn't keep all the chinese gametags straight). |

Was by far my favorite episode this 2 seasons (with the last episode being close second favorite), I know MC is a very popular character, but something about him just didn't let me connect with him, so I never managed to like him, I don't know if i'm the only one, but now seeing his other member of the team full in flesh to speak, it reallllly starts to get super enjoyable. I especially like the interactions between everyone, every one is MC on their own, that's how great everyone is. Ossan (Lao Wei is his name, I think?) is my favorite, never gets boring with this guy, and his reactions are the best. Steamed bun and the Cleric are awesome as well... It was great seeing Lao Wei and Ye Xiu strategize and discuss the team (Ye Xiu trying to persuade the other about how great the roster is with everyone having their own strengths and weaknesses they need to overcome) and Lao Wei being overly serious about everything. "Are you sure, this is a good roster?" "Do you really think we can win the challenge" "Do you think Excellent Era will try to sabotage us into playing with them?" Haha, gotta love this guy... I totally understand him, it's his last chance to get into the pro scene, gotta triple check everything.. I loved the scene where they learned that they are gonna be admitted to play in a challenge and boss being in a good mood that she was invited everyone to a barbeque and everyone (especially Steamed bun was happy), I dunno why, but scenes like these really makes for some heartwarming nakama stuff... The last exchange between Ye Xiu and Tao was great as well... "Everyone in the glory is scared of me".. |

Haha it's funny that you mention shield hero, I actually went out and bought the Light novels like 1-6,but they were so disgusingly bad that I had to go back and return them. Seldom in my life have I felt myself geting angry at a persons sheer ineptitude for the art of writing, it was like geting visual cancer beamed directly into my brain. The character inconsistency, the total lack of world building, the lazy writing in making every character but the mc and his gang be awful human beings just so the mc can look good in comparison all compounded with absolute dogshit prose. I read shield hero at the end of two months of trying and miserablay failing to get into LNs and it just summerized the total lack of quality control that seems to go into these projects and I haven't read a Light or webnovel since. Sorry for the random rant, shield hero just reminds me of wasted time and potential. On the note of the the Kings Avatar Web novel, I will give it a shot and hope that it is indeed as readable as you say. Looking at the lenght and scope of the novel I'm intrigued on how much the anime skipped over in terms of world building and character, and this seems like a world, that if done correctly, I could really sink my teeth into. |

I was going to discuss how we will get even epic later on, but let's just Appreciate the camera angle change just before the ending theme. I have not seen this perfect use of CG since Ufotable and even they would've fallen short. [url=https://myanimelist.net/animelist/Incranium&sclick=1][/url |

Looking at the lenght and scope of the novel I'm intrigued on how much the anime skipped over in terms of world building and character, and this seems like a world, that if done correctly, I could really sink my teeth into. Remember when I said Shield Hero "Read like a radio-play, but they forgot to include the speaking characters names"? Much much later on I decided to read a middle of the book chapter to see if the formatting improved. It did. It still read like a radio-play, but the names of the characters were listed after their quotes. I'm like fuck this. I'm not sitting through 400 pages of incomprehensible dialogue, just to enjoy reading intolerably comprehensible dialogue. Like I'm sure all these characters had their quirky ways of talking that would have made them easily identifiable but were lost in translation, but the translator didn't do anything to make the characters identifiable. And they only started doing it because the author did, however since the author was japanese they put the character names in the same position he would. (On a positive note: The page I read there did have some interesting world building, as it showed that part of the reason guns aren't widely in use is because the world runs on RPG stats. If you were to give a gun to a low-leveled person the bullet it fires would move through the air relatively slowly.) But yeah, Shield Hero made me really hate everyone that insists the "book was better" just cause it includes scenes and exposition not found in an adaption. Back when Shield Hero was airing there were a bunch of people doing "EXPLAINED" videos talking about "LEFT OUT DETAILS", when the left-out details were just listing all the shields Naofumi unlocked (when we can plainly see on his Skill-Tree all the different shields he's unlocked) or talking about how "THE REASON RAPHTALIA AGES SO FAST IS BECAUSE SHE'S A DEMi-HUMAN" when we only find that out the next freaking episode. I've had a similar experience with the comment sections on King's Avatar videos, where people talk about gameplay details that were left out (Which are clearly NOT if you use your eyes: an example of which is talking about how there is different movement physics in the water) or unexplained otherwise, the latter of which I say just because the translators didn't bother translating the "Loading Screens" with their "TIPS" in the show doesn't mean it's unexplained. And then there're people that go on about Ye's "true APM level" like it isn't a number spouted in the last 50 pages... Anyways, the only issue I have with recommending The King's Avatar now is that it is now all on WebNovel.com (which is a site I don't like since it has a clunky system where after the first volume you have to "Unlock" individual chapters by purchasing the site's currency or otherwise manually unlocking two chapters a day). It used to be that back when it was on (the now defunct) GravityTales that you could read all the translated chapters hassle-free, while only the most recently translated chapters being on Webnovel as an incentive to go there and register (and each day the previous day's chapters were made available for unregistered users). However after GravityTales.com went under, that's when Webnovel started to wall-everything off. Though you can still catch the first 780 chapters (up to shortly before the Challenger League), on the archive.org version of Gravity Tales (GravityTales were the original English licence holders of the novel before Webnovel bought them out). edit: So yeah: Long story short. It's better than Shield Hero. Not that that is high praise. |

It kinda sucks having to wait so long for more since we're barely getting started with Team Happy. The good thing about the live action was that so much more content was available and it leaves off in a somewhat satisfying way with the end of the arc. Here we just need more. :( Liked the season on the whole but it did feel a little lacking in terms of impact in all the action sequences compared to the previous entries. I hope we get a new season soon or something. OST was fantastic though and the ED has to be my favorite of the whole series so far. 8/10 |

Just so they can proceed at the ending of this Challenger preparation major arc. They managed to put together a team already. From being cafe managers, they are now a decent team with training room, proper guild, and enough members on the roster. Idk how the progress is still stale. If anything, I wouldn't want them to cut anymore stuffs cause the story involves a lot of characters, subplots, and they already ignored introducing the game properly to the audience. |

"What's been taken away from us" - bruh, you've lost almost everything by this point on your accord. Some disappointing anime flops for the finale, I'm genuinely surprised they didn't try a bit harder for it (while on the other hand they did create a few spectacular moments). But that aside, what an absolute killer of an episode. Steamed Bun could steal the episode by himself, but then the exchange between Tao and Ye Xiu was absolutely breathtaking. |

Sun is in a fight struggling. lol Steamed Bun is back. Dat finisher. Excellent Era loses, which means Mucheng has to suffer again. NOOOO! Wei is here. Chen got booty. Chen greets Chen. Damn! Dat Townhouse. Luo Ji. An Wenyi. Wei beat Steamed Bun. Excellent Era loses again and Mucheng suffers. NOOOO!!!!!! Look at Mucheng sitting there with her arms folded. Looking so fine... I mean...she's pissed. Tao calls Sun. Sun is out for the rest of the season due to his physical condition. Yeah. He got killed by Ye. Chen trying to block her booty. Where is Ye's lip? LMAO at the girl fan covering her mouth like she want to vomit. She disgusted. They registered for the Challenge. Excellent Era has to participate in the Challenge. The most difficult Easter in history. Tao and that scumbag manager. Ye sees them. LMAO at Steamed Bun. Dat text. LMAO at Ye saying its common sense for everyone to be afraid of him in Glory the Tao broke the phone. Xiao Shiqin? 1 of the 4 masters joining Excellent Era? Dat ending. And that was the end... for now. Another great season of Quanzhi GOATshou. The irony that the piece of shits at Excellent Era forced Ye to retire after he helped them 3 peat (and win in their 1st year) then the following season they are out of the pro league and have to fight for their lives in the Challenge where Ye is going to be. Karma at its finest. I can't wait to see my waifu Mucheng escape the hell that is Excellent Era join her future husbando Ye again. She didn't deserve to suffer this season. Lastly, Tang was looking fine as usual, but Chen started looking fine to me this season. Oh, and Yunxiu didn't appear again. I hope she returns, she is too fine. |

The majority of the team has assembled, their training room, conference room and even dorm are all top tier man, damn. They're really shelling a huge on this project. Welp, the Happy Net Cafe has always been busy with customers, no need to worry there. This season is just 1 big buildup to the next which will be about doing the qualifying challenges and then the tournament itself. |
