Tens all around!!
This anime... No, this entire series is simply amazing. I hardcored this series over the last month (as of my writing this review), dropping all over animes I was currently watching until finishing every last episode of this show.
After finishing the third season, I found out there were a total five OVAs I never saw!
Enough rambling...
For those who don't know, this OVA is just a small piece of the whole Sayonara Zestubou Sensei universe. If you haven't already, I advise you to watch all three seasons before watching this OVA, as this OVA is a "sequel" (more like an extension) to the latest season: Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
Story: 10/10
What can I say? It's classic Zetsubou Sensei... I mean, it's extremely over-the-top, stupid, fast-paced and extremely comedic. I mean, in SYZ as a whole, there isn't much "story", as it's a gag-humor anime. If you don't know this, almost all gag-humor is just... random. Even gag-humor animes like Excel Saga and Bobobo that have stories (I say "stories" loosely, mind you) are extremely random are really without point. If you're a fan of this stupid kind of humor (as myself) and you enjoy the Zetsubou Sensei series, you won't be disappointed with this installment. It delivers... Trust me. A new character is even introduced (fourth season, anybody?)!!! Anywho, as I said, it's classic Zetsubou Sensei in this one... Completely silly and over-the-top as usual... Nothing else to say, honestly.
Art: 10/10
As usual, the art is amazing. Sure, it's a little odd, and to somebody who's just getting into animu, I wouldn't advise them to watch this series, as it may scar you for life and direct you in the opposite direction of entertainment... Why? Well, instead of usual Shaft animation, it's more "cartoony" than most of their other productions. I mean, in an instant, somebody who is a regular to anime would notice this is obviously a Shaft anime from the silly art-style, but a newbie to anime might be confused (and scared) from watching this. The art in this series kinda is like Cromartie High School (another GREAT gag-humor that takes place in school) in the sense that it stays true to manga form... I mean, tons of face-shots (usual for a Shinbo-directed anime) and still frames, and even the art mirrors art in manga, except with color!
Odd as the art may be, it's still fabulously done. Shaft delivers as usual ;D
Sounds: 10/10
From the beginning I've loved every song that's come across me during the Zetsubou Sensei experience. The OPs are ALL amazing (ever since season one), and having them done by Kenji Ohtsuki no doubt makes them all the much more enjoyable. His craziness and comedic lyrics fit perfectly with this anime. This OVA uses the same OPs and EDs as its preceding third season did, but what's there to complain about? The OPs and EDs for this entire series have been great in my opinion.
Voices are STILL amazing in this anime... Not much to say about them, other than that if you didn't like them before... you of course won't like them now... (You'd be crazy for not liking the cast in this anime, though!)
Character: 10/10
This entire anime is built around characters... Everybody's as "colorful" as usual. Good ol' Zetsubou Sensei ;D Again, if you haven't seen seasons 1-3, you'll be lost coming into this OVA, because all of the characters are from the first three seasons. AND, A NEW CHARACTER IS INTRODUCED (as I said earlier)!! It's Chiri's sister!!! The great thing about her is that she's the complete opposite of Chiri, but she of course falls in love with Nozomu (as every character seems to do).
Enjoyment: 10/10
I never ONCE thought, "Will this ever end!?" or anything of the like during this entire series, and didn't once think it again during this OVA. I enjoyed it extremely (as you can probably judge from my review), and I think you will too if you liked the previous episodes of the series!! Good ol' Zetsubou Sensei ;D
Overal: 10/10
This OVA... is perfect... Nothing less of what to be expected from this amazing series.
Such a long review for two episodes... -_-
Anywho, I hope you all enjoy this OVA as much as I did! ;D read more

I really like Zetsubou Sensei, but I didn't seem to enjoy this a whole lot. It's only two episodes, so I won't really give you an elaborate review.
The good:
[+] "Shampoo" from Ranma on a shampoo bottle
[+] Full version of the opening theme (Ringo Mogire Beam!)
[+] Nice artwork, as usual
[+] Some amusing details in the background
The bad:
[+] More fan service than usual
[+] I didn't feel like pausing to read all the text that's shown briefly
[+] They didn't seem to blow things way out of proportion as they usually do
[+] It amused me a little, but didn't make me laugh
[+] Hard to understand a lot of the references
Maybe I'm just harder to impress these days. Indeed, things can lose their appeal to a person who has seen those things time and time again!
*Internet memes
*Re-runs of your favourite show
*Due to fans constantly showing obsession with N*ruto, you hate it even though you don't know what it's about
*Pizza is no longer a treat if you have it every night
*Politicians promising to act in public interest
*Modern technology is treated as obsolete as soon as something better is available
*You only read the highest rated reviews on MyAnimeList
I'm in despair! This world where things lose their appeal has left me in despair!
