Synopsis

Despite recently turning 17, the otherwise ordinary Yucie still has the body of a child. Having stopped growing past the age of 10, Yucie yearns to fully mature into an adult body. One day, she is chosen as a candidate for the title of "Platinum Princess," given once in a thousand years to whoever is worthy of the Eternal Tiara—a mysterious crown said to grant any wish. She's not alone either, as four other candidates also compete to have their own wishes granted by the crown.

As a result, Yucie enrolls at the nearby Princess Academy in order to grow her heart and work towards becoming qualified for the Eternal Tiara. With her family, rivals, and even the principal of the academy there to lend a hand, will Yucie's much-desired wish finally come true?

If all you really like is shounen anime, I can't recommend this, but I'd recommend it for most other anime fans.

It's episodic, but does have a progressive plot and a proper ending. The pace is on the slow side.

There isn't a strong central concept. The characters slowly develop friendships as they progress toward an uncertain goal. Ultimately, friendship is the strongest theme.

The characters are somewhat flat, although their interactions are well done. Some of the characters develop though the series; others stay pretty much the same.

Sorry if my review is full of mistakes it the third one i ever done, Im probably late for reviewing this but for sake of childhood i came back and rewatch it for second times.

i come to know and love this series was when i was 5 years old in early 00 and every week i was sitting in front of tv waiting for this to show to come out so believe me or not ,this is probably among the most enjoyable and memorable series in my younger age.

So was this story good? it began when the main protagonist was a baby ...

Mixed Feelings
Yucie is a seventeen year old girl... Although you wouldn’t know it at first glance, because a strange curse stopped her growth at age ten, freezing her permanently in the body of a tiny tot, and forcing her to go through the embarrassment of being treated like a child by every single person she encounters. Fans of a certain detective show may think they’ve seen a plot like this before, but where the two characters differ is in the fact that Yucie actually has some semblance of hope towards one day reaching physical adulthood. Hidden away in the highest point of her school is a ...
