Synopsis Loosely based on the "Sherlock Holmes" series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Hound turns all the classic characters into dogs. The canine Sherlock Holmes, his assistant Watson, and housemaid Mrs. Hudson work together to solve mysteries. The culprit is usually Professor Moriarty and his gang, who use all kinds of wacky contraptions to steal what they want.

the story's and charaters are like twins. its both oubout a man who is trying to find something (montana searches for treasure, and sherlock of bad guys) and the bad guys of the series are in both shows a mastermind with to stupid helpers. their looks are almost the same in both series. and the smart girl of the series who helps the main character appears in both shows. and i could go on like this for a long time :P
