New Interest Stack
Interest StacksMy collection for light-hearted romance anime series for romance anime fans. These animes are sweet-tasting vanillas that you can truly enjoy. The premise can be really simple and plain, but they say simplicity is also beauty. My collection for romantic-comedy drama animes. This kind of formula is one of the major things in terms of romance. A pinched of humor and romance, but mostly it have the most dramatic element. Some of these animes are truly tearjerking and kinda frustrating to watch XD But these are my recommendations that you might give an interest. Every animated media that has been made, in some way has the idea to tell a story, and to express a feeling onto the watcher. But then, there are some series which has a particular way to evocate it's emotions, and they use different tools to do that. Thought provoking writing, displaying the characters' internal monologues, their struggles and fears, using very particular cinematographic angles, and using contrasting styles of animation, colouring and highly symbolical and metaphorical imagery - these are some of the few hallmarks that the said animation is having psychological themes, and that it is avant-garde in it's approach. This is not limited to any genre, as well. If you're tired of the clichéd "Meet > Fall in love > Get together" plot, this is for you, as the couples in this anime are already together before or by the end of the first few episodes! A list of Romance/School focused animes. There are also some comedy animes, besides some drama but not a heavy one. "Elitist" has been a very generic and broad term to generalise many types of not-so-mainstream or "deep" anime, so this list is very diverse and it's criteria are not always clear cut and objective. Nonetheless I try to provide a proper explanation for why each entry is included. Generally speaking these are shows that fit one OR more of these adjectives: Experimental, Avant-Garde, Psychological, Philosophical, Obscure, Classic, Critically Acclaimed, Artsy, Old, etc... Denpa as a genre usually refers to Japanese artistic works with themes associated with social isolation, existentialism, insanity that stems from living modern society, and the glorification of otaku/outsider cultures. Examples of denpa in other mediums include the films of Hideaki Anno (Love and Pop, Ritual) and the films of Shunji Iwai (All About Lily Chou-Chou), as well as the visual novel Wonderful Everyday Down the Rabbit-hole. The romance as a genre, in it's typical sense, is a hit or miss for most of us, and this is understandable. Each of us had different outlook on life, our experience has shaped our personalities by particular ways, and the way we comprehend the fragile and gentle feelings of love within ourselves is something very personal. Ending themes normally don't get the love they deserve, so this a list that consists of a variety of genres, from jazz to rap, but each of them has this strong melodic effect that will surely make you either sing, dance or, at the very least, headbanging you at the rhythm of the song. Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy: I wanted to add the most important but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies. Anime made by the first generation of anime fans. These are the best works anime can offer. From being a child, to being an adult. From a little boy or girl to a resolved man or woman. What an adventure that life brings! These are some anime series or movies that have Coming-of-Age themes, and it's one of my favorite themes. Explore the characters and their adventures in growing up, as they develop and find resolve. Witness these characters as they follow their paths, achieving their dreams, and grow up from being a child to an adult! The part 2 of the first stack. |
