Arata naru Sekai: Mirai-hen

First of, this is my very first review of anything here on MAL ever and it will therefore also considering this to be an 1Episode OVA be rather straight forward and not too long.

Have you ever been thinking how the future might affect your past and viceverse? Well, what this 1 episode OVA tries to do is to sort of make your brain twist around 360 degrees and make you think once again about how the future possibly could be like, aswell how it could affect your past and how the two are connected to eachother.

The story is in my opinion slightly mindtwisting due to my previous statement but does however do well considering that it infact is only 30minutes long and the creators actually manages to deliever a message which I believe is rather hard to do in such short amount of time.

Story:
It's hard to really review the story without spoiling anything so it'll be a rather short one.

It is basically a story about 4 high schoolgirls who has leapt through time, 6000 years from their current present time into the future. They are stuck in that very loop of time without any sign of any other mankind.

I didn't really get what their goal was or what they were trying to achieve but nonetheless it got me interested and I sat hooked to it throughout the whole OVA since they brought up some interesting ideas on how future and past could be connected to eachother.

Art:
It's fine, pretty much today's avarage anime quality.

Sound:
I found that they really had put alot of work into the quality of sound, aswell as having a good amount of sounds and effects, suiting every situation really well.

Character:
For the characters they aren't really anything to mention, there is no introduction to them except for Yakusa whom seems like the main protagonist of the story, overall they are just like normal high school girls.

Overall:
Hence I found the story aswell as their theories quite interesting and all of the sound fitting to each and another event, which hooked me to it.

I think people should give this OVA a chanse because it has some really interesting stuff to "tell" you.

I know its just a one EP ova wtfffff OK I say this Anime thinking it would be good time traveling Anime ....... But at the end all i was doing was scratching my head out of confusion of what was going on and how they solved the problem. Look they story this anime is trying to do is very interesting.. Four high school who are time travelers they been sent 6000 years into the future, from their present in which the same day is endlessly repeated, in order to evade human extinction is a very interesting idea. you would think this anime would be awesome right ... wrong this anime just puts you in this would not know who the girls are or what there past are you get to know nothing about this girls and when they do a flashback whit other characters you are left confused wondering who this people are what relationship do they have whit this girls but you get nothing.. and in the opening when Arata Nakamura is introducing the movie there making they never tell you whey they made this movie in the first place.. In the end its not bad its fair and if you like time traveling anime"s and good looking anime then you should watch this its only one episode watch.... its just that if this it had 12 or more episodes would have a better character development and would have been a interesting and thrilling Anime......... read more
