Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania

This was a fun watch but unfortunately it isn't canon. As an OVA, it's nothing too crazy but gives decent closure to the series. I think Steins;Gate's strongest aspect is it's characters. You get a decent dose of them in this series. Make sure to watch steinsgate 0 before this and the movie. Steinsgate is more depressing than it seems but it truly is one of the best stories in anime.

The watch order is skewed so i'd recommend watch steinsgate all the way, watch divide by zero prequel to steinsgate 0. Then watch episodes 23 and 24 again, then watch the episode 25 OVA ... then the movie. 7/10

PLEASE watch this AFTER completing Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0. This is what you want to end with.

This special does a really nice job of giving you one last fun time with the characters. In my opinion, the ending of Steins;Gate is a bit fast and abrupt, which is fine, but you may not feel complete after watching it. This episode will give you a bit more completeness. You will see the characters you love enjoying their life after finally overcoming the obstacles in Steins;Gate. However, this is not just a silly episode with the characters. There is some important talks that happen in this episode ... about the time travel and especially about Okabe an Kurisu. I actually really like that they added this, it feels canon and important to watch. It makes you see what the future will be like for them. I wish that maybe this had been a 40 minute episode instead so we could have more adventures with the characters and see more about Okabe and Kurisu's relationship, but it is sufficient in giving you a real ending.

Steins;Gate 0 is majorly depressing. I strongly recommend watching this after Steins;Gate 0 to brighten your mood and make you happy. The characters will be there same, loveable selves again.

Nothing much other than an extra episode for Steins; Gate. It doesn't really add anything major to the world and is just there for like what happened after the end of the series. There is minor character exposition but otherwise there isn't anything else. We see some of the supporting characters again and the writing was solid.

The visuals are still high quality I didn't see any CG and the music is well done pretty much identical to the series. If you just simply want more Steins Gate then this is it but otherwise like I said before there is really nothing else.
