According to the official blog, the TV anime series Steins;Gate will have a special on the last of the nine Blu-ray/DVD volumes. One volume will be released each month from June 22, 2011 to February 22, 2012. Steins;Gate will premiere on April 5. I don't like how specials on BD have become so common. Series now announce their specials before even starting. It's like every show has a special/ova, makes it less special (pardon the redundancy)  |

It will be shitty, as all vn -> anime adaptations. I'd wager that they'll forget to put like 3/4 of the original plot (like in the case of Higurashi) and later on they'll patch 5% of it with the special episode. I'm not amused and I only hope for it to be at least better than the pathetic adaptation of Chaos;Head.      |

White Fox have proved they are capable w/ their adaptation of Tears to Tiara, w/c is good and Katanagatari, w/c is a masterpiece. and as far as Stein's Gate is concerned, they're animation production is awesome,very awesome, in story side, they have two amazing directors working on the show so i think they'll be able to deliver everything there is need to be for Steins;Gate Simplistic beauty can't be appreciated by someone who looks for something grand in everything he watch. |

Yey, specialszzz Steins;Gate has been showing good amount of potential, and pre-airing status that I have been tracking so far has been fantastic. I hope this breaks 'nitro+ anime adaptation jinx' for once. |
