I started watching anime when I was like 6 years old around 2008 and ever since I've loved anime.

I love Aviation and Military animes. Berserk is my alltime favorite manga and Legend of the Galactic Heroes anime.

If anime has blonde siblings as its main characters, chances are its going to be great:
* Logh
* Gundam UC
* Monster

Nice! I am glad you liked it so much. It is definetly one of my all time favorite gundams too! Gaiden is pretty good, I haven't watched it in a long time, but I really appreciate the extra world building it gives to the series

Ahh, alright then. I might go ahead and watch the OVA first anyway. Love me an old dub, especially if it's cheesy.

Galactic Heros is really in a league of its own and really like it, but I watched it quite a while ago. I really need to revisit it, but I'm not sure if I'll actually rewatch it or if I'll check out the original novels.

Also, if you like a short space anime that takes its sci-fi concepts pretty seriously, I'd recommend Top wo Nerae! Gunbuster. It's very different in tone/message/character compared to LotGH and I'm partially shilling it because I love it, but I think it's worth your time.

I agree. We share a long history together and even if our languages are very different our cultures are very similar. I can also tell you that many swedes have alot of respect and admiration for finland and finnish people.

Nice! Same tbh, the bigger cities are brutal over how expensive it is to just live here. Rent in the inner cities are just insane.

I see that you like "Bastard!!"; I've been meaning to read it for a while and only recently put it on my Plan to Read list. Is the OVA a good introduction to the series, or is it something I should watch after reading the first few volumes?
