(Third Review ever! I am keeping count ;) ) Once again. Disclaimer! I am not English. Pardon my grammar

Story.
Damn was it similar to Attack on Titan. I watched this after Yakusoku no neverland, so it felt weird. The first episode was very similar. World is destroyed by an uncreative disease which kills everybody under 16 years old.

MC is "livestock" in a vampire city, because obviously vampires have taken over. And the MC is revealed to be the hero of an "prophecy" to save humanity or something. Overall, very much worse version of Shingeki no kyojin, with some twists and things I actually really liked. ... 5/10.


Art. Ugh. I liked the uniforms they had except the color green on their uniforms. Looks horrid. Otherwise, the animation and art is very cheap looking. Ugh the battle scenes. 2/10.


Sound. DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT IS MUSIC? Sometimes scenes that definetly should have music, dont have any! Not to say that the music is good, sounded very average. The opening song is ok, the ending not so much. But for real, sometimes even in BATTLE scenes they have no music, which makes them very not intense. 4/10.


Character. Hmm. Though one. I liked Shinoa, she is an good characters and I definetly liked Mikaela. His arc is confusing but I would lie if I could say that I did not like him. Also, how cool is Mikaela's sword. Instantly one of the coolest fantasy swords I have seen.
MC is very Eren Jaegar like. "I WILL KILL EVERY TITAN" just switch the titan to vampire and voila.
Then there are the rest of Shinoa unit characters which are VERY generic. Tsundere check (also triangle romance check), BF check, Rival check, a mentor check, however Guren (who is the mentor) is kinda cool. He was okay. 6/10.


Enjoyment. I liked some episodes, but other were VERY boring. Its varies through out the show. 5/10.


Overall. It felt a speedier and "modern" version of Attack on titan. There are less and worse characters, who do not even have that much time to develop, other than Mikaela and Yuu (the MC).
THERE ARE MODERN WEAPONS, so why bother equipping your army with bows and hard-to-make swords!? You have a smiths, but no people to collect old weaponry? Anyway, I would say, skip this unless you want something similar to Attack on Titan. This anime will make your respect AoT more.

To the review! (Keep in mind my second review ever! And I am Finnish so not the most perfect english if mistakes are present)

Quickly to say I loved the movie. As I have always loved SAO. A thing many people would disagree with, but what can I say I also like "the Prequel Trilogy".
And I would recommend but ONLY if you have seen the previous installments of Sword Art Online.

Story:
Story in this was interesting. I would say it was the most interesting story out of all of the SAO stories. But it does require that you have seen the previous shows. I would rate it ... 10/10..

Art:
I am not good with this. I am not a critic and definetly not an art critic. In my humble opinion its one of the best animation I have seen in an anime. Better than any of the other SAO but it is an movie so. So yes 10/10 one of the best if not the best animation I've seen in anime.

Sound:
Music like in all SAO is incredible, this is not the best SAO ost but it is still top quality from what I have seen.

Character:
I have actually always liked all the SAO characters. Which of the best one is Asuna. And I am glad that Asuna was in this a lot. Kirito which of I see is usually not liked amongst people of what I have seen but I never had seen him as a bad character.
Only problem with characters is that characters like Lisbeth, Silica, Agil? and Klein are so minor small characters that they just are there. It feels like they are yelling Can you remember me from the previous shows? They have always been kinda lacking to me, Characters outside Kirito, Asuna, Sinon and Suguha. The villains and Yuuna where actually not too bad, They were interesting.
So 7/10 because one of them is a waifu so bias is true. And of course lacking side characters

Enjoyment:
Not really sure what this is supposed to mean as I kinda count it in the overall thing but I enjoyed it a lot. And I bet if you liked the SAOs before you will too. But if you have not seen the previous shows or disliked them yeah don't watch it if you have doubts. It is quite long 2 hours. But because I like SAO lengths doesn't matter. it could have been longer sure! Build Agil? and Klein and the rest more! (10/10)

Overall:
Umm. Well 10/10.... Watch it!

Caution! My first review! Also I am Finnish so not the most perfect English! so Excuse me please.

The story was something I didn't really care off when I watched this anime, as I found out about it when I started playing a lot of World of Warships. I just wanted to see some sweet naval action. But the story altough I didn't care about it, it was pretty bad. This is one anime I like to refer to as Girls und Panzerish anime, where bunch of loli-ihs girls take control of Ships, Tank etc. And like GuP, the story is odd. I didn't catch up ... why do they train these girls in naval warfare and stuff but the main characters want to be these Blue mermaids who do some naval missions.

Art was fine, it looked satisfying especially when the warfare was at hand. But otherwise it looked very, Dull. Thats the best word I can define it.

Sound, well I don't remember a single track from the OST as it was the typical goofy anime music most of the time, and the Opening and the Ending I skipped. They were boring.

Characters are the worst part by far, No enjoyment out of the characters what so ever. For me they might have even ruined the anime for me. I know its not actual military or anything like that but I think key to succesful crew (or one of them) is discipline, wich the ship Harekaze has none. The crew memebers can pretty much do anything and the Cpt doesn't care. And many characters were annoying overall. Only redeeming character was Munetani Mashiro who had some sort of idea how command structure works. (Also the German girl... The German naturally was awfull)

Enjoyment overall I would rate 6 as the characters were shit, Story was boring, animation when there were no battles was dull, But when battles came along the anime became enjoyable. Or atleast when the Cpt wasn't jerking around.

So the overall rating would be 5. As that is the average.
