Its the story of a guy Sakamachi Kinjirou (teased as Sakama “chiKin” jirou) in the worse harem ever.
A harem of constant pain, suffering, torture, and torment.
Surrounded by a bunch of violent psychopathic women that he just wants to get as far away from as possible.
From his sister constantly assaulting him to wake him up in the morning. From multiple times being forced to pretend to be someone’s boyfriend. From getting run over and then assaulted by a crazy girl. From getting jump-kicked out of nowhere just for talking to another person. From getting beat up due to a false kidnapping experiment. From name calling.
...
From verbal abuse. From getting drugged and abducted...Just terrible characters left and right.
And they all just randomly show up no matter where he is. He’s at the beach, they’re all there. He’s at a restaurant, they’re all there. Despite these girls living separate lives they are all always there to make this one guy’s life hell.
The problem started when Kinjirou discovered that Konoe Subaru, a butler to a sadistic rich brat Kanade Suzutsuki, is actually a girl.
Kinijirou and Subaru eventually develop a relationship. And this is really the only positive aspect of the anime is the relationship between the two.
But because almost every girl is obsessed with Subaru this makes Kinjirou a target of fangirls.
Overall the secondary characters are awful. The humor is not funny just abusive. I feel sorry for the main character Kinjirou.
The two main characters are likable though. And its worth watching just for those two.

Murenase! Seton Gakuen (aka My Gym Partner Is A Wolf) is a story about Mazama Jin who used to go to a human school where everyone was the same. Now he goes to an animal school because Lyon’s his last name.
The story takes place at Seton Academy where a wide variety of (anthropomorphic) animals attend.
Jin is one of the only two humans, the other being a girl Hitomi.
Jin encounters a lone wolf named Ranka and she asks Jin to form a pack with her. Problem is Jin hates animals.
Jin, Hitomi, and Ranka create a cooking club. And eventually more animals join. Female animals because
...
this is a harem.
A sloth, a koala, a cat, a hyena, and a panda. Each with their own characteristics.
Jin really wants to spend time with his fellow human Hitomi. But the wolf Ranka is very clingy as she has imprinted on him.
Ranka sees herself as the pack leader, and Jin as essentially her husband.
The anime is pretty funny. And even educational. You can learn a few interesting facts about animals.
The female animals look like typical anime girls but with animal ears and tails. Thats how the anime takes advantage of the sex appeal. The males are just animals who stand up right like humans.
But the ecchi stuff isnt too extreme (unfortunately).
There is a naked mole-rat who feels embarrassed when wearing clothes so she strips to her underwear when people are not around. But thats pretty much the most of it.
Overall I was entertained.

The ultimate lolicon anime.
Its just your typical romance between a teacher and his grade school student,... you know...anime stuff 😐
The story revolves around a new grade school teacher the naive and optimistic Daisuke.
As he deals with a very problematic trio of girls Rin, Kuro, and Mimi. (but mostly Rin and Kuro).
Daisuke has unintentionally been sucked into a love triangle.
Kuro has a secret crush Rin. But Rin is in love with the teacher Daisuke.
Rin is a sadistic sociopath, whereas Kuro has more psychopathic tenancies.
...
Rin is this close 🤏 to being a yandere. She has many of the characteristics but just hasnt tasted blood yet. (Well she has tasted blood she licked her teacher’s finger cut, but I was speaking in the murderous sense)
Mimi is the “good girl” of the trio. She was verbally abused by her previous teacher. She’s also the girl who physically developed the earliest in her class and is extremely self-conscious about it.
Rin and Kuro are very protective of Mimi.
Not only is lolicon a major aspect of the anime, but it also has other themes including stuff like incest, girl on girl crush, children dealing with verbal and physical abuse, mental illness, trauma, and tragedy.
I typically don’t like when comedy and drama are mixed. But I think Kodomo no Jikan mixes it well. It doesn’t come off as jarring. Nothing comes at you from left field.
The story is nicely paced and well written.
All in all I think it was a good anime.

The story takes place at a prestigious all-girls academy.
The main character Kimito is yanked from his own school and is brought to attend this academy so that these sheltered girls can get an idea about the world of the commoners.
Kimito is only allowed to stay because the heads of the academy believe him to be gay and into very muscular men.
Roll intro: “♫ Come and knock on our door. We've been waiting for you. Where the kisses are hers and hers and his. Three's company too ♪ ♬”
Eventually he unintentionally creates a harem (the Commoners Club).
-You have Hakua the 14 yr old
...
loli who looks like she’s in grade school. She’s a science and engineering genius. She only opens up Kimito. Is very attached to him and acts like a little sister around him including sitting on his lap. Oh and she also likes to take all her clothes off when solving science problems.
She is by far the most entertaining character in the show.
-Aika the fiery red head. She has no friends and also only opens up to Kimito. She’s the second most entertaining character.
-Karen the eccentric samurai wannabe who attacks Kimito with a sword. She’s envious of Kimito and cant get enough of Hakua’s cuteness.
-And last and least Reiko. She is the least interesting of the bunch. She’s just the typical generic good looking and polite popular girl.
You have supporting characters like Miyuki the maid (the second cutest character after Hakua). Who plans on cutting off Kimito’s dick if it turns out he’s not gay.
Kimito is believed to be gay because his “girlfriend” (*childhood friend) Eri told everyone he’s gay so she could have him all to herself.
It is definitely a cast of crazy and as a result entertaining characters.
Credit to Shomin Sample its not just some typical lazy-harem. Yes it looks that way on the surface but its genuinely funny to watch. Each episode had me laughing. Except for the last 2 episodes, they're kinda garbage.
Even the main character Kimito is entertaining and doesn’t come off as just the boring guy who happens to have a bunch of girls falling for him. He actually has a funny personality.
Good characters. Good comedy. Good ecchi fan service. Funny scenarios.

I didn’t like this anime at first because I didn’t understand what it was going for.
Plus im not into Gourmet anime.
But once I started to understand what kind of humor it was going for I started to really like it.
Alot of it is thanks to the main character Hotaru. A very strange, eccentric and hilarious girl.
She is the heir of a candy company and wants to hire the owner of a small candy shop named You to come work for her father’s company. But You refuses unless his son Kokonotsu agrees to take over the shop.
From thereon episode after episode its Hotaru being cute,
...
sexy, and silly. Trying to find ways of convincing Kokonotsu to take over.
She develops a strong friendship with Kokonotsu and his two friends the siblings Saya and Tou.
Its a very entertaining anime. There is a lot of talk about candy, their origin and history, how to eat them properly, etc
The characters are excellent especially Hotaru.

The anime doesnt know how to pick a tone and stick to it. Its all over the place.
One point its serious and brutal. And then the next its ecchi cartoony comedy. The tones are constantly clashing.
The anime also tries to play mind games as to who is really supposed to be the bad guys. But its just not that interesting.
The main villainess is always monologuing some eye-rolling pretentious philosophical BS. And is easily the worst character in the show. (+1 point to her for providing the ecchi stuff i suppose).
The other characters are actually not bad. They are good characters in a bad story.
The
...
story is about a boy named Justice who has a strong sense of justice. Who gets a special tattoo after saving a supposedly homeless man.
But he's not the only one with a tattoo. Others also have these marks that grant them special powers. And these tattoos will lead to a war between the US and a South Asian country the Kingdom of Selinistan.
The story does start off promising at first.
My biggest issue is just the lack of consistency. I dont understand what im watching. I dont understand how im supposed to feel. Is this a comedy? And i supposed to be laughing? Or is this supposed to be serious and tragic? Just pick a tone. Sometimes it feels like a parody.
There is alot of potential here but it feels like the writers decided they wanted to troll the audience.

Great ensemble of characters:
You have the dark mysterious main character.
The loli tsundere with a brother complex.
And the woman who provides the fan-service.
What more could you want?
Animation is nice. The characters look unique and stand out. They are not generic copy paste.
These are characters you can get behind. They are likeable and well written. They have motivations, they have goals.
The story relies alot on Japanese urban legend and folklore.
The mystery doesnt only revolve around the strange happenings around town. There is also another mystery of who or what the two siblings are since they appear to be more than just human. Aswell as a different
...
more darker other world.
Im a big fan of mystery, especially mysteries with a horror element, and this anime does a great job at that. Its fun to watch.
It combines horror, mystery, comedy and ecchi pretty well.

If while watching this anime you start to hear a phone ringing somewhere, its not. Its just that this anime uses a ringtone for its soundtrack.
Its the story of a sorcerer Zagan who purchases an elf "Nephy" who was put up for bid after her previous master an Archdemon passed.
Archdemons are lords of sorcery, the most powerful sorcerers.
Sorcerers are seen as evil (and rightfully so), and are hunted by the church's holy knights. Not to mention Zagan is being blamed for kidnapings in the area.
Zagan must try to live a peaceful life with Nephy, while trying to protect himself, Nephy, and his castle
...
from the holy knights.
Its a typical anime plot. A powerful character who seems evil on the outside but is actually caring on the inside. Trying to protect an innocent girl. Its nothing original.
It all depends on whether you're into this type of plot or not.
The characters are good. Nothing spectacular or super deep. They are written just fine.
Only seen 4 episodes but so far so good.

Starts off pretty good.
Irido and Yume are exes. However one day they find out that their single parents are getting married to each other.
So now Irido and Yume are stepsiblings living in the same house.
Irido is the emotionless one, he loves reading books, keeps to himself, and doesnt stress about most things. A really great character.
Yume is a former nerd aiming to reinvent herself as the class princess.
The two have a love hate relationship but must try to be on their best behavior to keep their parents happy. But at the same time trying to control the fact that the feelings they
...
had for each other is resurfacing.
Like i said it starts off pretty strong. But then devolves into boring, dragged-out garbage.
Mainly because Yume is such an unlikeable character (◔_◔) And the second half of the season focuses so much on her.
She doesnt make a good tsundere. She is written so annoyingly. Always shoving her nose in her ex's/stepbrothers business. And is also a giant c*ckblock. And very possessive.
The other female characters are also a little "crazy" in their own way but atleast they are entertaining. Not like this killjoy who acts like her life sucks when it really doesnt.
She's constantly monologuing in her head about her childhood, and its so tiresome to watch over and over again.
Another thing that drags on for too long is the whole shyness thing. Its so tiresome seeing these shy girls take forever to complete a sentence.
There are other characters like Minami who asks Irido to marry her so she could get close to Yume. A good plot that gets tossed aside way too quickly. Because at this point Minami is a very fun character. But after that plot Minami becomes almost as unlikeable as Yume.
Isana is the best character. And should have been the main character. She has big breasts and is kinda tomboyish. She is very close friends with Irido, and they have a buddy relationship. The interaction between the two is the highlight of the show. Seriously every time these two are together and are just being comfortable with each other it is the best thing ever.
Meanwhile you have Yume and Minami trying to push Isana into a romantic relationship with Irido, even though Isana prefers her current friendship with Irido just as it is.
This is when Yume and Minami are at their most annoying. Trying to play matchmakers. Trying to turn Isana into something she is not.
But Yume is the one you're supposed to be rooting for... You are supposed to be rooting for Irido and Yume to get together. The problem is the other girls would make much better girlfriends for him.
Sometimes the anime isnt sure who is supposed to be the love interest.
Typically in a romance the viewer should want the two main characters to end up together ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Here im rooting for them not to be together. Thats not a good sign.

He adopts his aunt as his daughter.
Souichi Kaga at the age of 76 impregnates a young woman and sires an illegitimate child named Rin. (however there is more to this than it seems but will not be fully addressed in the anime)
Souichi passes away 6 years later. And with Rin's mother having abandoned her for her career, Suichi's grandson Daikichi Kawachi a 30 year old bachelor decides to adopt Rin.
Rin's mother Masako Yoshii known as "Maron Saionji, Sensei" is a manga artist. She's not a bad person. She does care about her daughter. But got pregnant at a young age and wasnt sure what
...
to do.
All the characters are nicely written. Your typical slice of life anime characters.
Rin is the spitting image of her mother. Except for hair color.
And Daikichi is the spitting image of his grandfather.
Parenting is a huge focus of the story. You have other parents dealing with stuff like divorce, single parenting, balancing work and raising a child, etc
The writing isnt anything deep though. This is an iyashikei. Its supposed to be a feel-good anime, its not a drama.
The art style is nice. It has a hand-drawn/coloring book aspect to it.
Unfortunately this anime is incomplete and doesnt go anywhere. Only 11 episodes. There is more story to tell but it doesnt look like there will be more episodes considering this ended in 2011.
I would have given it an 8/10 if it felt like a complete arc. But the fact that it feels incomplete makes it a 7/10.
For example there is a potential love story between Daikichi and a single mother who's son is friends with Rin.
There is another plot involving Rin's mother working hard to reach deadlines at her manga job.
Or Daikichi's cousin contemplating getting a divorce.
I wish they did more with these characters. I wish there were more interactions. But the story although cute is very very basic.
