Ashaf and Guideau hunt the supernatural. Guideau is in it to hunt witches. Specifically a witch that put a curse on her. Ashaf is a cool headed spellcaster. He's the brains who also knows how to talk his way out of sticky situations. While Guideau is the muscles, and a hot head. Who punches her way out of sticky situations. The way the 2 main characters are total opposites create a great dynamic between the two. I find the way Guideau's fights are choreographed can be lacking. Man this show is annoying to sit through.
Because 2 out of the 4 main characters are nothing but annoying. Im specifically talking about Inugami and Shigaraki; a dog spirit and a tanuki spirit. Inugami does nothing but lust over Kohina every chance he gets. And Shigaraki is just a drunk freeloader who forced himself into her home. Neither of these characters are funny or entertaining. Its your typical isekai with an overpowered protagonist. Your classic hero needs to defeat demon lord.
But tries to do things a bit differently. Firstly Seiya is not a hero, but more of an anti-hero. He doesn’t mince his words. And is very insensitive. But most importantly he’s very cautious. He will not engage in a fight unless he knows he’s absolutely ready. He prepares thoroughly for everything and trusts no one. And will use overkill on even the weakest foe.
