Solving the mystery by Episode 5 is based as hell. I get what you mean with Jacopo, however, there's just something about him that doesn't sit right with me. Maybe a reread will clear up my feelings on him. I do love Morgana a lot as a character, though.

That's understandable. However, I'm almost certain you would be an Emet top 1 guy. He's like an amalgamation of all those characters on your faves, but somehow even better.

And speaking of Berserk, are you liking the recent chapters? I've heard some very mixed opinions on it.
Also, didn't know you liked Ever17? Have you played Remember 11 too? I think that one is better.

Genuine question, but do you feel Jacopo's motivations were meticulously outlined? Because, to me, it felt like the author was retroactively trying to make the character sympathetic in some instances, but didn't provide a solid enough foundation for those concepts to flow well. I also wasn't really a fan of how Michel in door 8 was attempting to "reconcile" Morgana and Jacopo, it felt like a weird disservice to his character, especially given what Morgana went through.

Additional question, do you feel personally insulted by the way Ryukishi portrayed the Theory Goats in Episode 8. I read Umineko a long time ago, therefore, I was present at the time most of the fandom were arguing on message boards on how Ryuks meant to portray his readers as "catbox violating truth seekers" in episode 8; think of the wording he used when describing the theory goats. Hell, there's even an instance in ep 6, where Ikuko was outright urging the readers to engage with the story on her own(and by extension Ryukishi's) preset standards. It never really bothered me much, but I'm curious as to what your opinion on it is.

Also, I tried to get into Ravages of Time, but couldn't get past the first 10 chaps, do you recommend it?

You play FFXIV by any chance? If you don't, get on it, Emet-Selch is literally the only character I felt almost dethroned Beato as my top 1.
