How did I watch 114 anime in 2021 I have no idea
eblf2013 May 23, 9:29 AM
Oh speaking about obscure streaming services there's one here in latin america that has been licensing and dubbing some old and obscure anime. For example they have licensed AMNESIA, Kuuchuu Buranko and Full Moon wo Sagashite which weren't available in any other service, so they're watchable on stream at least here. I am seeing if they license some other anime that's been there in the stacks.

I wonder if you could see this from there, it's from Anime Onegai's official channel but idk it's watchable from outside of Latin America.

Hello, it's me again, I found out that the first season of Nodame Cantabile is not available for streaming. Which is weird since it is a known anime and the last two seasons are available (only in a Korean service).

One Outs doesn't seem to be available either even if it's at #234 in popularity.

It's when translation stopped. I've read this chapter and the one after, but that's it.

I think they already have enough chapters to fill the volume, it should come out this year. Weekly releases are different, since chapters are coming out very fast, meanwhile if you take something publishing monthly, like Tomodachi Game, which is currently in its last volume, the gap is just 3 chapters (25th volume came out, and there is only 3 chapters left to complete vol. 26). With series like these they want to pump out books as fast as possible, especially considering series has been on hiatus for years

Yo some guy picked up TerraFormars and translating them (Annex)

Hello, it's me again with the unavailable in streaming services. I found out that Ashita no Nadja (2003) and SURPRISINGLY Ano Natsu de Matteru (2012) isn't available outside Japan, supposedly the last one is in Crunchyroll and HIDIVE but both give me a 404 error.

More importantly I got something that could help with your research.

This is a list of TV anime released after 2000, without Chinese or Korean anime. AniDB also shows if the anime is on Cruncyroll, HiDive, Netflix or Amazon without having to click on the anime.

I've succumbed to my primal urges, even though I told myself I'd wait for the final season I couldn't do it, I am but a shameful worm who wishes for immediate satisfaction
TheMangaManiac May 10, 1:48 PM
Haven't watched it just yet, but maybe there's something interesting in there

Gokushufudo anime just looks awful and as someone who have read 8 volumes it's just... alright? I also try to write jokes from time to time and understand how important creative punchline and timing are, in Gokushufudo it's the same joke over and over, author even reuses the same jokes from previous chapters. It's somewhat wholesome relaxing story with nothing big really happening, thus making humor extremely bland and "safe". Gets very repetitive and boring after few chapters in.

I like Saiki much more, because it has creative cast of characters plus fantasy element to it PLUS main character is extremely charismatic, but as I said, it's huge hit or miss at times. Geniunely laughed at some of the episodes from season 1

Never cared for pairings in majority of manga I am reading. Grand Blue is pretty solid humor-wise, I mean I should have expected this from Baka to Test author. Do I agree with its placement being so high in top-100? Not necessarily, but it's still a very good manga. Humor is a very hard topic in itself since different people enjoy different types of jokes. I absolutely can't stand Gintama, it just never lands for me, yet it has A HUGE fanbase. I remember enjoying Saiki Kusuo a lot, came back years later for season 2 and... it's just kinda crigne.

Top AniList manga sorted by read/favorited ratio. Quite interesting list

TheMangaManiac May 3, 4:37 AM
Yeah It did. And pretty bad... only watching it to set as completed. Not recommend. First episodes were really solid, but everything after is pretty meh art-wise and story-wise.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
