| Woah, I had no idea wtf was going on but it certainly caught my attention. And OH MAN, Bones putting in their best effort in the animation and artstyle department. The show is looking absolutely baller from the character designs to the fight scenes, and the soundtrack ain't bad either from what I've heard. If it clears up during the next few episodes, this could potentially be something special. |

| The action was good but that aside it was extremely chaotic and some things simply made no sense (for a person outside the anime ofcourse). Animation fucking sweet tho.. instantly got reminded on kill la kill bc i rewatched some blurays lately. |

| You know, this show won't be getting score for subtlety, that's for sure. But when it comes to pure entertainment value, it wins by a large margin compared to any other spring shows premiering so far. The animation is stellar, the fighting sequences are super cool, and i especially like the sheer absurdity of living in a fantastical city where nothing's normal and scenery chewing is commonplace. Overall i enjoyed it and excited for the next episode. |

| I love the atmosphere. You've got the up-beat soundtrack and the streets are filled with random creatures. It oozes Space Dandy, Baccano, KLK and a hint of Kyousougiga. Let's see this series will hold in the next handful of episodes. |

| Damn, absolutely loved the chaotic setting. Reminded me of Durarara!! in the sense that it's a city where anything could happen. Can't wait to see more of that world. Balls to walls action with randomness around every turn, loved it! Can't say I am excited about the MC though. I am sick of tired of the weak and spineless characters being the focal point of the show. He doesn't have to be op, but isn't the whole "weak, but he has a special ability" trope played out at this point? |

| That was kinda meh. I was expecting more. It was a little too messy in general and the whole thing about his sister and that monsters was pretty confusing. Also, wtf is up with the main character apparently being able to see shit and even take pictures, but always keeping his eyes closed? That was weird. I don't know where this is going, but I hope it gets better otherwise I'll probably drop it. The animation looked nice though. |
| Well, that felt odd. I thought the MC would own those monsters. But it looks like he's the weak type at start. Zap was wicked with that fast red sword. An okay series. The action was pretty good. Left a fine impression and I am welcoming awesome new action scenes as well as the story. |
| Way too many things going on. Should at least make a clearer info dump episode because I didn't understand what was happening with the aliens and the sudden power. And what exactly did the MC do by looking at the monkey apart from analysing a bug? Hopefully explained later. Apart from that great animation and ost and badass fighting scenes. | Really liked the classical themes that this series has going for it....The episode in itself gave me loads of Baccano vibes and it seems like it'll continue to be that way which is a plus in my books So far the MC isn't all that interesting to me but I like his resolve and his special god eyes...They look pretty cool....I'm really digging Libra though.....They're all pretty likable and badass in their own rights....The girl kinda reminds me of Ennis from Baccano The art and animation were the best parts of the episode though...It looked really amazing and is possibly the best I've seen so far along with Shokugeki no Souma....Add that to the classical themes and music and we have another great anime on our hands...Hopefully it all stays consistant throughout the series The concept behind this new New York City was pretty interesting to and I want to see more of it.....I also want to further dive into some characterization for the antagonists as well as the protagonists Overall pretty good episode, the OP song is pretty good so I'm hoping that the visuals for it will be great as well as for us to get a solid ED too |
| The show seems interesting, and I'm seriously intrigued by the opening scene where he wrote a letter to his sister. Is she's a figment of his imagination, and died during the "Selection" process, whom he is writing a letter to just to balance his psychological state? Or did the selection process throw her outside of the walls of New York, and his letter to her is some sort of a "last will and testament" sort of thingy? But if that were the case, then why would she be able to read the letter? Shouldn't she be blind? Either way, I'm hooked with the story. Love the classical American-esque setting as well, reminds me of Rose Gun Days and Baccano (the chaos is similar to Durarara, but the setting.... not so much), top it off with demonic aliens and Cthulhu-esque creatures running amok.... I'm sold. Next episode! |

I think she only lose her sight (in exchange for Leo's special eyes), but she's definitely still alive. Probably it's like FMA, where Ed and Al wanted to get their bodies back, and then involved in several and cases which lead them into the main problems of the story. |

| Yep, definitely picking this up. This show is unique, it threw so many random things at me and I liked it. Not really liking the MC is the ''closed eyes'' type, but I can live with it. Hopefully the anime keeps up the quality. I am so glad the monkey got saved. 5/5 |

| Is someone comparing Noragami to this glorious AotS candidate? Noragami had no animation compared to this. And the art, do I have to mention it? Aside from the pretty good action (fist was meh but blade was really good), I cannot emphasize enough about how they put enormous effort on art, it's almost like watching a movie animation. The only gripe is that they need to work on typography since it doesn't look that cool compared to KLK and that it won't sell well since I sense no moe/fujoshi bait in this. You're the fucking best BONES. |
