Anime known for being confusing, for a wide variety of reasons. Maybe the story is told out of chronological order, maybe it's storytelling is abstract, maybe it makes use of metaphor and surrealism, maybe it is purposely left up to interpretation. Whatever it is, it's going to require a rewatch.
