Interest Stacks

As the title suggests, these are shows that have been released in 2020 or later and embody a surreal and abstract direction, which I'm personally a big fan of. I will only be adding shows that have captured that essence for me, so that individuals who share a similar taste and appreciation for these styles of anime can easily follow my list. Additionally, it is intended for those who struggle to discover newer shows that can satisfy their cravings, unlike older ones. Please note that when I refer to direction, I'm talking about purely the direction, storyboarding, and visuals. Some of these shows might have what you would call a more "typical" story, but that is not the purpose of this list.

To conserve space in this Interest Stack, only one season of a show will be included. I will highlight my favorite season of each show here.
