Indispensable for: A script that simmers, but that presents us with a cast of very interesting characters and the history of each one. (Splendid animation btw)

Indispensable for: Being a breath of fresh air for a predominant genre in anime today, and inspiring several of these today.

Macross

Kidou Senshi Gundam

Indispensable for: The start of a legendary franchise in Japan, about protagonists who find themselves embroiled in huge and complex political wars. I recommend this for being the beginning of the work, but Gundam has many subsagas praised by the public.
Versailles no Bara

Indispensable for: Being one of the first works of director Hideaki Anno, creator of Evangelion. A story full of action and fun.

Indispensable for: Being a kodomo (series whose target is mainly children) that was born from a video game, and that raised its quality, demonstrating that an emphasis can be placed on the script in these works.
One Punch Man

Indispensable for: Surprising everyone with a unique and different character from most shonen protagonists. Also, leave everyone speechless with its technical quality.
Highschool of the Dead

Indispensable for: Presenting a story that, although it is not the best in narrative, revolutionized the community that watches anime on its broadcast, due to its characters with sexy and stylized designs, fast-paced action and zombies (who were not so burned). (another anime that i dk why is here)

Indispensable for: Being the musical anime par excellence, with its wonderful direction presenting an epic melodrama with an incredible final twist. (prepare to remember this series every april)

Indispensable for: Raising the technical aspects of anime and its study to stratospheric levels, with a pseudo-episodic story but too human and moving.
One Piece

Indispensable for: Words would not be enough to emphasize the importance of the work in Japan and the world. I will only say that it is the adaptation of the best-selling comic in history, with a quality in its current dream saga. It has the recognition it deserves.
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch

Indispensable for: Presenting highly stylized characters, in a military and political war plot, with a certain dose of strategy, ecchi and an ending that is considered one of the best in anime history.
Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan

Indispensable for: Presenting a story with several nods to the history of Japan, one of the most charismatic villains in anime history (who was right in the end) and its OVAS and LAs are considered one of the best worked in the industry.
Vinland Saga

Indispensable for: Presenting a story with a rare setting in the world of anime (the Vikings) with a story about revenge that is twisted to present tremendous life lessons. (I have no enemies)
Cowboy Bebop

Indispensable for: One of the best original anime (not from manga) of all time. With a SUBLIME, SUPERB AND EXQUISITE soundtrack, characters with a lot of hook and legendary chapters.
JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)

Indispensable for: Not only its extravagance, but the fact that the manga feels embodied panel by panel in its adaptation make this anime so unique.
Mob Psycho 100
