This stack is intended for non-shoujo or josei shows that have a female protagonist while avoiding the traditional objectification, sexualization, or other possible issues in portraying female characters in male or gender-neutral shows. It may still be somewhat problematic or not fit the ideal female representation, but at least it's not related to ecchi or waifu bait things.
I also tried to bypass all-female shows whenever possible, since most of them are objectified and they would be enough for 2-3 more separate lists.
