This is the umpteenth reverse harem show I've watched, and despite being a male, this DOES NOTHING to break my previous attempts at deriding such shows like this to say that despite the story and narratives, the characters, essentially one woman a.k.a. the catalyst and the many similar-looking men all wanting some "thirst" out of her skills and abilities. Why can't this reverse harem (NOT the Josei) genre just fade into oblivion?

In order for reverse harems to work out the way it is, the central girl MC is in question. Unfortunately, this whole anime coming from a game adaptation, works and plays TOO similarly like a game, where you the (female) player protagonist, hired at some company just because you're an expert in that field, and must ABSOLUTELY ask some Ikemen around to get to your goal. The end result is like watching a "Let's Play" game unfold, only that this is nothing interesting at all. And that's who the female MC Rei Izumi is: the "perfect drug-alleviating candidate" to scout for Ikemen, just because drugs won't work on her (and dismisses that entirely after the VERY first episode) and that she is the ONLY one suitable for the job. Boring story plot and even lesser with little to no character development.

Not to mention that getting the "Prince of Tennis" studio M.S.C does not break the bank as well. Terrible backgrounds and bland character design, just could not emphasize this point very directly, because it's just that. The fact that I remember Code:Realize by the same studio made in 2017 with the exact same source adaptation that at least had decent execution speaks volumes about its reach towards the general audience with a better setting and (at least) good character development.

Song choices with the OST are the only ones I can compliment about this anime, and that's the best part about it alone.

All in all, a show that isn't worth watching, even for the most niche of audiences (Josei).
