thanks, you're so sweet ^^
im just playing joy division and the cure with my band at local pubs. im still finishing something like... 5 albums at same time. you know, im working mostly alone, so i must record the details from a lot of random tracks but i can't find the right point i have in my mind like a girl able to record moan and screams. btw, if you don't feel unconfortable helping me out recording that, just send me some scream, crying, moanin and scatting file, even if it's poor quality, cuz it will be distorted with a bunch of effects and no one need to know who the heck is doin that if you want to xD
yeah, i have to agree, punpun is great until the last page. 10/10.
I'm reading Michael Deforge avantgarde comics. Gonna start Oyasumi Punpun. I'll look forward to Subhumans. What a shitty weekend, damn boring. I'm depressed.
Thank you! Glad to have you aboard. Go ahead and submit something you'd like for a community read, too. It doesn't have to be something you've read, but something you want us all to read together one week.
I can give you reccomendations all the time, just tell me the genre you're up to read at the moment. I think you'll love Neil Gaiman's Sandman, besides Robert Smith there's a lot of post-punk references, like the character Death, she is based on Siouxsie. If you like surrealism, check the book Best of Milligan & Mccarthy, and The Invisibles (written by Grant Morrison). I'm too much into sci-fi so I love 2000ad's british comics, like Strontium Dog, ABC Warriors... The art is grotesque, with some detailed violent/gory scenes as well.
I will check the deep freeze mice :D
I think you will like the works of Gilbert Shelton, RObert WIllians, and the grandfather of ero-guro comics, Robert Crumb.
HAHAHAHA I was kidding lol already have a gf. But I have tentacles if you wanna play ;D lol
Cool, Boys Dont Cry, Seventeen Seconds and Faith are the definitive postpunk albums IMO, and theyre my top albums right now. But Pornography hopeless atmosphere and the dark texture in Disintegration were masterpieces of my depressive suicidal days. Have you heard of Neil Gaiman's Sandman? The main character was influenced by Robert Smith. Im the kind of guy that hates gay stuff in itself, but I would frenchkiss Robert Smith, really hes the nicest and dat lipstick and dat eyes and singing all cats are grey in my ear aftersex LOL
Do u read any grotesque stuff other than japanese stuff? I can recc ypu loads of disgusting or surreal comics better than japanese kawaii desu uziga waita onii chan gomenasai ohayou itadakimasu foreskin bubble fart
Dat Slug Girl story, is the best short from Junji besides Long Dreams.
Yeah, i'll probably try to search for it again. If I have to search every corner of google, I'll do it. I have nothing to do anyways, lol. And thanks for that! I remember that you said you're a fan of Suehiro and I recently got to know him. I must say, his works are incredibly awesome!!
Ohhh so that's it. It frustrates me since I can't buy anything off the internet YET and then no available scans. Aha, it's not? Hmm I see I see. No, no it really did helped. Yeah having physical copies sure is fulfilling lol
