Saw this on cinema last night! I must admit that it's the director's weakest work to date.. I did enjoy the film and had a good time while watching it so that's entirely the reason why it's getting an 8.

If we're talking plot wise... it's definitely lacking something. The film is 2 hours long but somehow it felt like everything was resolved quickly? Like there wasn't any problem to begin with. The vibe is exactly the same as all of the director's previous works so.. if you don't enjoy ''recycling'' this is not the film for you.

This whole last paragraph would make you think ... that I'd rate this film like, a 5. But I feel that none of this takes away the fact that it was a cozy and enjoyable film to watch.

Some final positive elements... art/animation is great as always. So is the soundtrack. I love RADWIMPS.

I think y'all gon come for me, but I did enjoy this anime a little bit, looool.
Like, I know it's cringy and there are other shows that are 10x times better, however I did like watching it since it was not too long.

I don't watch a lot of zombie stuff but this one was fun.. the borderline pornographic stuff was super meh, it would have been cool if they skipped that sh*t. The ending was fine, I think it was realistic. I often dislike how zombie films and stuff end because it feels to ''heroic'' and happy. This one felt like it would ... be continuing with another season, but since the manga writer died (rest in peace), they decided to stop producing it.
So yeah, that's it. Fave character was Marikawa sensei. And the dog was cute.
The songs were nice too, maybe they didn't fit the vibe that much but I liked them lol.

I'm not a huge fan of romantic shows (anime and in general) so I felt like trying this one because I know there's always hidden gems in any genre. Came with not so many expectatives and ended up liking this anime a lot!
Story isn't deep at all- just science students being awkwardly in love- but there's something about it that made me appreciate the characters a lot. I cared a lot about them and I was really excited waiting for them to finally ''confess'' or kiss.
Also, the visuals were my favorite thing. I don't know why, but everything felt so aesthetically pleasing. Lastly, the ... science aspect of everything made the show 10 times funnier. I'm actually interested in learning science now!

I'm giving it a 8 based on my enjoyment. Even though it's not an all-time favorite, I recommend it to anyone who's looking for some slice of life-ish light hearted romantic show. It's definitely not a waste of time.

Am I the only one who got Spirited Away vibes from this? (the scenes of the 'other world' of cats) That really made me happy because it's my favorite movie ever. I don't know if it was an actual inspiration or it's just my imagination, but it was really cool.

I loved the animation style and the sound; the story was not boring and it went on very fast which is something I like in movies.

The characters were OK, I didn't feel attached to any, and the main girl didn't
make it for me. I found her typical ... rebel teenager 'no one cares about me' attitude annoying, I understand it's normal and most young people is like that some point in their lives, but yeah I can't control my feelings. It's good to see that she develops as a character and understands what was wrong by the end of the movie, which is again a very tipical anime movie thing.

Another thing I did not like was the romance between the characters, I felt it was unnecessary and rushed, almost forced. He just doesn't love you, get over it.

Overall a good film. 7/10. If you like cats and wholesome stuff in general you might like this.

This is actually the first Shojo anime I've ever seen :) My 12 y/o sister wanted to get into anime, so I was like 'let's watch Sailor Moon together, it's a classic and it musts be fun'.

I'm going to talk about the positive aspects here:
It took us a lot to finish it because we are quite slow watchers, but that doesn't mean it got boring. Personally, I enjoyed the story and its characters; it never was too dense or overwhelming. The overall aesthetic of the theme was the best thing IMO; colors, style of drawing, the intro and outros. Particularly, the Miracle Romance intro ... was so so catchy, we always sang it in each episode. Friendships were cool, Luna was my favorite character (even though she's a cat) and the Sailor team was so dynamic and amusing.
So, overall it was a very fun Shojo anime and I'm definitely going to continue with its second season. A solid 8 for me.

Now, briefly mentioning the things I did not like:
Some undertones there were throughout the show; I don't really blame anyone because this was an anime released in the '90s. Times change and things were different back then. Many small comments, thoughts and behaviors of some characters did not really sit well with us (specially with my sister, since she's a very modern girl and was brought up a different way), but overall we understand that it's a different cultural context.
Now, getting spoiler-y: all the plot of Usagi being the Moon Princess and forgetting everything was kinda.. shallow. Like they could have come up with something better explained, or more deep. But again, it's a show for kids so it's not a real complaint.

Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a classic 'old' show, this anime defines what the Magical girl genre is. :)

My issue with this show is that I was expecting something totally different than what I've seen. I was looking for a good horror show to begin exploring this genre (I don't usually watch horror in particular, but my interest in it is definitely growing) but it definitely let me down. Nothing really surprised me.

Just a couple of episodes in and I completely lost all of my interest, I was watching just for the sake of watching something; I don't even remember the characters' names, except for Mei. All the bloody/gory scenes made me cringe, and I still don't really understand what was the ... purpose of anything. I didn't really connect with any character, either. Music was average (for my taste).

So I don't think this is necessarily a bad show, it's not for me and I did not enjoy it. I'm giving this a 4 because it's not the worst of the worst, I just did not care about Another at all.

Okay, so, I wasn't too sure about this show; particularly because of all the negative reviews it has. I have to say that I can understand their points and why they don't like it.. however, I quite enjoyed it.

I'm not giving this a 9 because of the plot or anything, I rate based on my enjoyment. And I actually had a good time while watching this, even though it may have a predictable story and etc.

It's hard for me to actually like all the characters in an anime show. It's also hard for me to like the romance genre. This was ... an exception. I was just a couple of episodes in and I found myself caring about them a lot. Also, rooting for Zero Two and Hiro's relationship, as well as the rest of the group's friendship, and all that. I didn't pay much attention to the plot and worldbuilding. This was purely character-driven to me.

So, this is why I'm giving the show a 9 (: I hope you can understand my point of view; and I hope I find more characters who I can connect and get attached to in the future.

I'm a sucker for psychological stuff so I had to watch this one. Lots of people recommended Perfect Blue to me, and I'm happy I've finally watched it.
It's a relatively short film, but I think the time is enough. It was quite entertaining, before realizing it was almost finished.
I have to praise the art style, I think it's one of the best I've seen in anime films so far. It was really pleasing to my eyes.
The overall concept of the former pop idol that decides to change her path really resonated with me, as I'm a big fan of Japanese idols and most fans ... can't comprehend when their favorite idol decide to graduate.
Now, to the spoilers.. (don't read if you haven't watched it yet) I got really surprised when the one hallucinating ended up being the main character's manager instead of her. That left me tripping. The ending was appropriate, I would say. I definitely expected a tragic or sad ending but it wasn't 100% like that. Extra points for the originality among the thriller/psychological genre.

I know of this anime thanks to a gif I found scrolling on Tumblr. It caught my attention, I looked it up and discovered Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue.
It took me a while to watch it, not because I wasn't enjoying it, I just think that it's not that type of anime that leaves you wanting to know what's coming up next. And that's not a bad thing.. it's a Slice of Life, I mean.
Main character reminds me of myself. I used to be super shy and socially anxious a couple of years ago, and I also found a lovely cat which ... made me feel a lot happier than I used to be. It's such a wholesome story, all the characters are totally pure, and there's no way you can complain about these.
Opening and ending were great too. I was not a complete fan of the visuals, but it's not like I hated that.

Halloween season is coming so I wanted to watch something cute-spooky, and this was recommended to me.
This is a Slice of Life anime, so there isn't much to say about the story, except that the characters were cute as hell!

[spoilers ahead!]

I was wondering how the ending would go like (they wouldn't stay in school forever, I thought). It was logical for this type of anime. I have to admit that I kinda felt sad and nostalgic seeing how they 'graduated' and left the school to continue with their lives. It doesn't explain what they would do next, I mean, they are alone, right? But ... it was cool regardless.
Now the real question: why did they have to kill off characters like that though!?!? Specially the DOG. Don't mess with dogs like this. Not OK.
