Ive been great! Stressed, due to irl stuff, but anime keeps me alive.
If youre planning to watch TPN S2, then u shld alr know the reception toward it, just dont go in with high expectations. Ive heard a lot abt Uramichi, but im not gonna follow it cuz like u, my time is too divided, and im also watching lots of other seasonals. I may watch it after the season ends but unlikely to.
It's great that you like your job! That's really rare to find, though back to back shifts is a bit much. Don't work yourself too hard or you won't have any energy for fun, games and anime!
I just started with Genshin Impact myself at the insistence of a friend. I was surprised at how fun it is. It's not the sort of game I am likely to obsess over, but I think it will help kill the hours until I can restart my world.
The anime will always be there waiting for you. I think everyone takes a break once in a while (not me, of course, I am incurable). I really enjoyed a lot of anime since the last time I wrote, but I would suggest Servamp off the top of my head. Good fun and nice art.
What anime is that gif from on your profile? I thought it was from Natsume Yuujinchou, but you don't have that in your list (it is very very good, btw).
I just looked up the 2 shows, and their mean score is very low. Looks like i wont be watching them. I havent been watching much, mainly just finishing up seasonals. Though i had just finished Elfen Lied and Wotakoi before that. Elfen Lied was pretty bad honestly, though there are many diehard fans for the series. Wotakoi was pretty wholesome and fun. Do you plan to watch the 2nd season of TPN?
Ive been great thanks for asking! Wbu? And what hv u been watching lately?
Good luck with the new gig! I hope you won't be too busy for anime (the horror!). Let me know how it's going when you have some spare time.
Talk to you next time :D
I didn't realize you were a code monkey. I am computer illiterate for the most part (embarrassing, I know). The only thing I know how to do is work with the code on MAL so I can post my club cards :D
Congrats on your exams! Hopefully you will get a break from them for a while.
I've been waiting for Promare to be available to stream somewhere for a while. I love that animation team. Their art is always interesting and the animation usually blows the mind, so I will be looking out for it. Thanks :)
Ooh hope you enjoy HxH. Do tell me what you think about it when u finish it.
Ive been keeping up with 15 seasonals and the best new ones so far are 86, Vivy, To Your Eternity, Tokyo Revengers and Shadows House.
Also finished Darwins Game and Owari no Seraph this week and now im watching Hyouka
It's good to have people with common interests, for sure. I don't really have a lot of those around here, but I am gearing up for a life change myself and fellow otakus are definitely going to be part of the new world order.
Technically, it's cheater camping. There will be a cabin (sort of), an outhouse and an outdoor shower, so: fun out in the nature ;)
I will confer upon you "flawless recall." A little spell to get you through those nasty exams. If that doesn't work, well, good luck!
Oh, one last rec:
Donten ni Warau
for the beautiful character models. The story is pretty good too.
BSD, Wan! is adorable and the voice actor who plays Atsushi (tiger boy) does the end sequence song. It's really good :D
I'm planning on watching all your suggestions, but I will have to sign up for Hulu to see Danganronpa since it is not offered on my usual streaming channels. It's always nice to see what other people like and I intend to watch most of the existing anime anyway (a girl's gotta have goals) so friends' recommendations are a good place to start.
I'm going on a camping trip for the next couple of weeks, so it will be good to have some new series to start after a week of anime-deprivation o(^^o)
It's hard to get a take on your tastes since you haven't rated everything you have watched, so, I will just wing it and give you things that I really like and are either going to be continued or are complete stories.
Mob Psycho 100:each season is a complete story and no cliff hangers. I would recommend watching all you can find. Great comedy and characters.
Suisei no Gargantia: some of the best art and animation I have ever seen. Give it a chance (2-3 episodes), I know everyone is terrified of mecha (mystifying, really since that's where the best animators tend to be), but this is a different than most and has a very interesting story and great characters.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.: I know. I know. Very popular, but there is a reason. It's just that good.
Chobits: maybe not for everyone, but I loved it.
Kakushigoto: A very good slice of life comedy.
I hope you find something you can enjoy there. If not, I'd be happy to try again. Thanks for the challenge.
Oh right...I don't know if you like the chibi shows, but Bungou Stray Dogs, Wan! was really fun and since you really seem to like BSD, you might enjoy it.
any recommendations?
