Hmmm not really sure what to put here, I tend to watch a lot of ecchi and harem anime and manga but I'm hesitant to call that my favorite genre since I'm a sucker for a good plot and those kinds of shows/books rarely have a decent plot, so if people can recommend any ecchi thing that still has a good plot I'd be grateful.
I'm a fairly avid fanfiction writer and reader, although I sometimes have to force myself to actually sit down and write, and I support a loooong list of pairings that goes way too long to put here so I'll just put the top five here, with the anime or manga the people are from in brackets (Also I'm not including anything that's been made cannon, Ed-Winry from FMA for example);
Azusa-Yui (K-ON!)
Mio-Ritsu (K-ON!)
Ash-Latias (Pokemon)
Naruto-Hinata (Naruto)
Kari-TK (Digimon, and yes I'm using their english names but I watched it dubbed before I knew about subs)
As for my ratings, well I really am in no condition to judge any anime or manga in broad terms so my scores are more subjective view of how much I enjoyed the anime, and honestly I question anyone's ability to really give an objective score for the quality of any given anime but that's a rant for another time, the score system goes roughly like this:
10: Throughly enjoyed this, would definately watch/read it more than twice, characters and plot stay with me for long periods of time, these are the shows that I hold others against or that truely capture my imagination.
9: Still a very good show, would likely watch/read it again and might download/buy a copy to keep however one or two annoyances stick out at me.
8: This is really the lower limit of re-watching/reading for me; character and plot are still good enough to stand out and be remembered, these are anime that catch my imagination but really don't push it much further.
7: This is the lower end of any anime/manga I would activley recommend as being good to friends, some plot elements or characters stood out enough to catch my interest, overall I still enjoyed it but it probably isn't worth going back to it to re-watch/read.
6: A single character or some rare plotpoints caught my eye elevating it about average but really I can remember compartivley little of these shows compared to the higher scores.
5: I enjoyed it at the time but it hasn't stuck with me and has been quickly forgotten, the average anime/manga, I might remember one particularally good scene but much more would elevate it to a 6.
4: Still enjoyable, to an extent, but generally blighted by more problems, like with 5 and 6 it's likely quickly forgotten but it would stand out for negative points rather than positive ones. This is the lowest score I tend to give an anime yet continue to watch it.
3: This would be an anime that I really didn't enjoy, maybe the characters or setting are too cliche or done badly or something else, below this level and I would activley warn people off watching/reading an anime/manga.
2: I did not enjoy this anime at all, there will be one or two saving graces to elevate it about 1 but they aren't enough to keep me watching a series certainly at at this low level I may not even finish watching an OVA/Movie or reading a chapter for a manga.
1:I found this series abhorrent for whatever reason, if any saving graces exist they are few and far between, with this score I'm actually more inclined to watch more than a 2, morbid fascination and all that, but stillthere is no enjoyment to be found.

[spoiler]The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.
