These two shows use well balanced silly comedy with serious moments. If you liked the Sakuragi gang in Slam Dunk I feel like there's some similar vibes to enjoy in Boukyaku Battery in terms of funny talk between the team players. Although, Kei Kaname initially played baseball before high school, he starts from the bottom because of a loss of all knowledge about it which is kind of similar to Hanamichi's start where he's physically strong but know nothing about basketball.

Sung & Sunraku fight tough monsters to level up in a similar game fashion setup, both are fun action packed series with various entertaining fights against a variety of foes to get through.

Vivy and Gesicht have a precise difficult goal where they go through many hardships that have a huge effect on them hence why they lose everything in the process either it being death or the lose of a precious memory.

Both shows have a zombie like entity which is immortal, fun & action packed with beautiful visuals. Furthermore, Ayumu and Andy are both weirdly unique personality wise whilst having hilarious moments that enhances the overall watching experience. Comedy is subjective after all, even though personally it feels like they're part of the same universe.

Both shows deal with machine emotions, human greed & war theme along with the consequence of the hatred encapsulated in the tragedies of death in both camps. It shows the reality of how the world works through subtle use of several plot points with the message that robots are created to be like humans although It's a double edged sword that can end the world. Action is above par with deep themes, well written characters & great premise.

Both movies focus on the action aspect, so if you're a fan of action animation they're pretty similar. Although be warned if you can't handle screams skip them.

Both series are comedy gold, not your typical MC's which are quite unique with some pretty good life goals. Side characters all around from both anime are great as well.

These two shows focus on night life, where either you can't sleep during the day or you prefer staying late at night. Kou is bored and interested by his daily school life and decides to become a vampire hence he meets with Nazuna who promises him of becoming one. Nakami have troubles to sleep at night so when he meets with Magari it eases his sleeping which he always struggled with and as a result they start hanging out in the observatory. watch both these shows at night to elevate your experience.

Both are set in school setting where their love blossoms into fine wine. It's cute, fun and wholesome romcom that soothes your heart instantly. Nishikata challenges Takagi into some fun shenanigan's and Takada enjoys spending time with Nishimura which is kind of similar. Both series have good comedy and lovable characters, so check these 2 fun animes out.

Both develop their love interest but cannot express it easily. Yamada and Amane are dense with no experience with girls & they're always distancing themselves from others. Akane and Mahiru captivate the boys into liking them by using their charm and throughout the series's you feel that both couples complement each other quite nicely with some interesting interactions, warm and wholesome vibes overall. Totally recommended to check both!

Society hates them since they harshly consider them useless and human trash. Both series also have some decent comedy and hella lot of action. Both Asta and Mash starts from the bottom and surpass their physical limits.

Both Mc's love to fight over anything, eat a lot and are Badass. Although Inglis is a hot female protagonist, the show has some funny moments that makes you remember the good old days of dragon ball. So if you like female op MC's with some high intensity battle flavor à la dragon ball, you should check this anime out.
