Before watching this I thought getting laid would probably be a good thing, and getting all the ladies would probably also be a good thing.
Boy has this anime changed me. I was never a hardcore Christian anti-sex-before-marriage kinda guy. But right now if I got with a girl, did the dirty, then we broke up, I'd probably feel extremely guilty being with another girl. And I probably wouldn't want a girl that's ever been with anyone

Screw all those anime with MCs that don't take any action. Screw all those slice of life anime where the MC is so mentally weak that he can't even ask a girl on a date. Screw all the anime that end with zero progress. Screw all these loser MCs. Screw all the anime that don't evoke any sort of emotional response in the viewer. Redo of Healer is better.
I do not care if 50% of it is basically hentai. It's better written than almost every normal anime out there. It's not a boring slice of life with the beach episode, the episode where they're on ...

Major points lost for the whole "big eyes" trope being heavily overused due to laziness. For a main character whose looks are supposedly her strong spot they sure don't show it off. I mean the animation is half the enjoyment. The whole plot really isn't interesting enough to make up for the lack of eye candy animation. I expected this to be amazing due to all the hype around the manga but it did not deliver at all. Was hardly any different from any other slice of life anime.

I don't do reviews very often, but man this deserves one. It's like Konosuba but with a touching story and the MC is extremely quiet. I'm not sure why, but people complain about his quietness, so that quirk may not be to your liking? But for me I'm into it. He doesn't play a huge role and it lets the other characters get quite the development. Karyl's character development was the only one I was a bit iffy on but I've come to kinda understand her situation. However every other character in the show you'll love.

This review is more directed at all of the films, because they were all pretty similar and amazing. I'd recommend watching them before the rest of the series, because while they were released after most of the seasons, they take place earliest in the story.
