Without trying to spoil the story, the plot is about this old yakuza member trying to revive the Okinawa yakuza by recruiting members. The story gets political and displays the connection between politicians and other yakuza. The Chinese are also shown as inferior compared to the Japanese, so if you're offended by that then I wouldn't recommend it. The pacing is pretty good so the story is progressing as it should. This is probably one of my favorite space and sci-fi-related manga. After reading this Mashima has become one of my favorite mangakas of all time. In this story we see a boy named Shiki who ends up leaving his planet along with a girl named Rebecca, they obtain a ship called the Edens Zero. The Edens Zero originally needed 4 workers to function it properly, however, while traveling through space Shiki ends up recruiting several unique and quirky members to join his crew. This comic is probably one of my favorites from Hino Hideshi, he keeps the creepy and shocking vibe throughout the whole thing which is why he's one of my favorite mangakas. The story is clear in the first chapter, an artist describes his hellish works that consist of grotesque imagery using his favorite color, the color of blood. Throughout the chapters, we see his point of view of gory things, along with his family who commit atrocious acts. In this horror manga, there are thirteen chapters, each written by different mangakas. Each chapter consists of either ghosts or an eldritch creature that causes trouble. The art style differs from every chapter, for the most part, the art styles are pretty good. The same thing goes for the narratives, they also differ for every chapter, they could go from having a gloomy ending to either a disturbing ending. For some chapters, the characters are either likable or dislikable due to their behavior.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this anthology of short horror stories, if you enjoy horror as much as I do then you should ...

If you're a fan of slasher horror films then this manga is for you. Here we see generic tropes that most slasher movies follow, from having a group of teens on vacation in a summer beach house to having a silent knife-wielding psycho. The story starts with this guy reading about Tips on surviving a horror movie, seconds later he is isekaid into a horror movie scenario. There are comedic moments that might seem familiar to you if you're a horror fan. Both the art and the characters are pretty good, the story is simple yet enjoyable.
