Anime analysis community is best anime.
Scoring shows is hard, some shows have very strong elements mixed with very bad ones, making a brief description much more effective than a number. So I mostly just scored what I have strong, solid feelings about, which is why there are only high scored anime in the list.
A high amount of memes often correlates with high quality anime.

I'm really glad you liked the book, especially since you didn't care much for the HakoMari book. I have to agree that the whole naming stuff is a bit pretentious, but its entertaining imo. I don't really remember the whole thing anymore, but I don't think I quite caught that whole thing about the reader being delusional like that delusional guy when I first read it. Guess I gotta reread it now! I'm just not as smart a reader as you are. I thought the technical explanation made the detective-y dude look super badass, and I was completely immersed in it. Perhaps that's a difference in our ages and experience with genre fiction? I never even compared the two, so you were definitely a smarter reader than me. I liked the technical explanation because, besides the entertainment value and triumph of gaining knowledge, we still know that it's grasping at the unknown. I think I remember feeling both dread and adrenaline when he confronted Kamisu Reina because I was so sure he was going to die, yet I was hoping for him to pull through and live. If I remember, he does live, at least for a short amount of time?
Um.....as I said...Yeah, I think I missed the twist. oops. Sorry bout that
I don't really see what you mean by anti-shounen, but it is a nihilistic book which probably contributes to that feeling you're talking about. I would say that the book feels kinda lonely, doesn't it? Even when characters interact, I feel like they don't really connect. Except for maybe the two lovers. I can't really speak for Boogiepop as I still haven't read it (I promise, I'll get to it!). In my life, I've always felt that suffering comes form loneliness of some sort, although I don't know how well this really applies to the book.
In conclusion, I don't know what I'm talking about, and I need to read the book again. Um..... Hopefully we'll talk again soon! I'm leaving for another week next week, and life is kinda busy, but it's the same for you so I'll try to always make time for you! If there's anything about being out of home for a bit of time, it's that the homesickness makes me miss you and my other friends a ton. Gnight.
Um... I'm going to put another post later because I don't have enough time right now. Basically, I left to go to Germany recently, and I just got back today. It was a ten day trip, which is why I haven't been around for around a week. Anyway, I'll see ya again in a few hours. Well, I won't actually see you. I just meant I'll finish up replying in a few hours, haha.
Have you heard about it?
Well, I saw it when you first posted it and I was like pretty excited. But then I forgot to reply, and I kept meaning to, but there was always other stuff to do!
Therefore, I'm writing this right now in between work on my important projects. (It's 12:00 midnight and I have an art project I gotta finish at some point)
Um.... Clear Card is great. I like it better than the old cardcaptor Sakura because it feels somehow faster even though they are both slice of life. Clear Card has better art obviously, and I like the music better. Probably what I like the most about the new one is that there is less focus on the cards and magic aspects of it. Those are in my opinion the worst parts of Cardcaptor Sakura, It's true that in Clear Card, Sakura captures way more cards quicker, sometimes with more consideration about the mechanics of the Clow cards themselves, but it feels like they managed to fit more of the warm and fluffy scenes that everyone is watching for into the show.
Hm...
I honestly don't like poetry, so I can't say I understand what they mean. But the tone of yours is pretty interesting. If I had to say something about your poem, it would be that it feels like you're talking about the mundane and routine things in life. But that's just based on the tone of it, so that might be wrong.
What do you think about poetry, do you get anything out of it?
Hm... how does he eat, defecate and breathe.....
Maybe there's like a whole ecosystem in his cave mouth, and some of the small creatures living in there get sucked in by his breath kinda like how whales eat a bunch of krill! And maybe defecation goes through his breath which acts as a kind of fertilizer for the creatures inside his mouth? That way, it can guarantee a healthy supply of food!
Alright, I'm outta ideas. Honestly never thought about any of this before!
In the end, I think the most unbelievable part about the show is that Hiro only feels alive while killing others, especially when you see that he feels even more alive and human around his loved ones. With his power, what reason is there for him not to spend as much time around Shion as possible? Like, why doesn't he run away with SHion and her Grandmother after the SDF attacks his house?
Welp, that makes me sound like a sociopath. But basically, I'm not saying he did nothing wrong, I'm just saying I cared a lot more about Hiro than anyone else in Inuyashiki because his human connections feel so much more powerful and real to me. Anyway, I was wondering what your take on it was because I could tell from the MAL discussion on Inuyashiki that most people condemned Hiro.
BTW, sorry for not checking discord sooner to accept the friend request. I don't use it too often, so I forgot about that whole thing until I saw your comment just now! Well, I have no idea how long that friend request was pending, so I guess it might be a non-problem.
Personally, I felt more empathy for Hiro because his view that only the people he cares about matter is something I think a lot of people, myself included, might have.
Why am I asking about Inuyashiki? I dunno, I was bored.
Ouch, that stuff about blood pressure and memory sound really scary. I can't imagine going anywhere near medicine if I had something like that. You must be really brave to take weed, even if by accident! Hopefully, nothing else goes wrong this year, especially since it's Christmas now and everything! Just in advance, since I don't know if you'll read this anytime soon: Happy New Year!
The image was an art project; it was our exam project in which we received drawings from children in the elementary school next to our high school and created art of that based on what we saw. I do all the linework and colouring for my art, mostly because I don't do much art outside of school, and the school requires us to do all the work by ourselves.
The monster itself was drawn with Prisma Colour Pencils, so not paint, sorry. The monster's mouth is meant to be a cave; that implies how large the monster is, to have an entire cave system in its mouth. It's a bit hard to see when it's as small as it is on here. Basically, the monster was built from various real-world objects that I drew inspiration from because I'd never done any kind of drawing based on imagination without photographs before. The lip of the monster is based on a Wels Catfish's mouth but with a cave inside of it. The monster's body was based on a beanbag chair, dunno if you can see it that well. The hand was a gardening glove, and the stitches of the beanbag chair kind of fit the glove and beanbag chair together. Finally, the feet were based on a dog's legs and paws. Finally, the sky is both red and blue, which doesn't make much sense, but it looks cool, so.... ya know!
Yeah, we should use Discord. Although I don't use it that much, that's mostly because I feel kind of guilty over not playing Civ V with Pause and Select and his AniCiv server. Anyway, my Discord username is ThEnd. I'll try to add you on there or soemthing. (Dunno if you need a Discord ID to add someone or not, so I'll try)
Oh BTW, my Discordtag is #9122! That way, you could add me if you like. Hopefully, on Christmas, you've got some friends over to do stuffz, so I'm not expecting you to add me anytime soon or anything! (basically, I'm saying, "no pressure")
Merry Christmas! See you later!
I've added an actual profile pic, haha. I'm pretty proud of this one, cuz I drew it myself! What'd you think?
Well, actually. There were a couple other fights/characters I really liked besides the last one; that one was the 2 fights the octopus dude had because the octopus character was actually really cool as Killua said in-universe. Speaking of which, Killua was the only other character in that arc whom I liked.
I was jsut kidding about the question mark tatoo btw,
Sorry to hear about the weeb man... I mean weed, yes, weed. So what happens if you need to use any sort of medicine that messes with blood pressure?
I'm not dead yet either, thank you for asking. haha.
actually, i look like this in real life; I can't believe you'd insult my appearance like this! I have a question mark tatooed on and everything.
Well... you see... Hunter x Hunter has to be a 7 because...
reasons...
well, why do you think HxH is better than good?
