Absolute Masterpiece.
The story - in my opinion - was absolutely exceptional, I enjoyed it so much, the art style complimented the imaginary animation; the character designs were captivating; overall the whole manhwa is amazing.
I'd say that the MC (Sung Jin-Woo) is:
- Unbelievably powerful (He gets stronger).
- Highly intelligent.
- Exceptional Battle IQ and Base IQ.
- Average Endurance, however he dodges the majority of all attacks.
- Very good looking.

This anime was SOOOOOO close to becoming a masterpiece. Heres why:
The story was so well written, with decent world building and exceptional character development. The art was a massive improvement to the original version, and the animation was amazing. The music is so iconic, and i loved the fact that they kept the same opening for the whole of the anime. ALL of the characters are interesting and very strong/intelligent, especially Killua, despite being a side character - and the MCs best friend - he stole the spotlight for me, and i'm pretty sure that everyone else can agree that hes one of the best/IS the best side ...

The whole dragon ball series, in my opinion, is so annoyingly repetitive.
Its just full of fights, and fights, and fights, and also theres a hint of FIGHTING in there. Not to mention a lot of shouting, and fights... The only character development I noticed, were the characters getting stronger, but thats it, its all based on the fighting and shouting. "I WILL NOT LET YOU DESTROY MY WORLD" was a sick moment when Goku tried defending the whole of earth against Beerus. Overall i rated it a 5, but decided to keep it to myself to not lower the rating of the anime. I find the MC (Goku) to ... |
