I've been watching anime as far as I can remember when Sailor Moon came on the TV back in the mid to late 90s. But the peak for me was when shows like Pokemon, Digimon and Dragon Ball Z came on television and while I was curious to know what exactly was the style of those shows suppose to represent, back then.
I eventually found out what the term "anime" was when I got older. I enjoy it to this very day, watching different shows and movies that capture my liking.
I'm am big fan of action/adventure shows like Trigun, Beserk and Full Metal Alchemist but I also like to expand my horizions with thrillers like Darker Than Black and possibly Death Note, comedies like K-On! and Negima!? and I also been opening to some romantic shows like Kimi Ni Todoke and Strawberry Panic!*.
* - There's probably a few more than I can list but I'm not gonna list them
I also enjoy reading manga as Death Note was the first manga I ever read and Black Cat being my top favourite.
I'm also a huger gamer as I've been playing video games since the end of the 16-bit era and I am a proud multi-console owner to this very day.
I also love watching movies from time to time with favourite movies like Pan's Labyrinth, The Orphanage, Adaptation, Being John Malkovich, Hana-bi, OldBoy, Pulp Fiction and many more.
And finally I enjoy listening to music when I'm travelling, listening to Metal (except Black Metal and some Death Metal), Alternative Rock, Punk, Hardcore, J-rock and a bit of Techo (Daft Punk and The Prodigy), J-pop and Pop (but only Bjork :P). I can't stand listening to mainstream music these days.
