Whether you were a season 1 watcher or not, you will be massively disappointed. I watched the first season 2 years ago and was extremely excited when this was announced. Higher the expectations, the higher the disappointment. Loyal fans waited 9 years for this bullshit.

Characters (8)
The old characters act like how they used to. Likeable and wholesome. The most notable addition to this season is Ramus, a baby that just descended onto them one day. She's like Anya from SpyxFamily, but worse. A bit annoying, but still decent. She's fine.

Story (3)
Boring and random slice-of-life episodes for god knows why. None of them further the ... plot and character relationships are the same. The final few episodes were supposed to be some super intense fighting scenes which would be pretty cool if it didn't have SHIT ASS ANIMATION.

And that brings me to, Art (1)
The climax of the entire season, the one that loyal fans waited 9 years for, was just pngs on a city background. HELLO? ARE YOU REALLY THAT LACKING IN BUDGET? The animation of the entire series overall was just trash too, objectively. I've seen isekais with a total budget of 3 cents with better animation. It's very hard to watch. The artstyle is vastly different from the previous system, but it's still OK.

TLDR; I wish I could rewind time and make it so that this season never existed.

It started off decent and ended in a cliche. Like many others, I was firs pulled in by the weird synopsis. Asses? Seriously? I love it.

The first 40 chapters were OK, but it went downhill when MC started fighting her ex for her old company. She's a Mary Sue but decently likeable. Male MC is useless af. He is the epitome of a sugar baby, though he does try not to be. Out of nowhere in chapter ~16, he starts to develop feelings for her. I get that there was a few month timeskip, but at least show their development for god's sake. It just ... felt very out of the blue. It's not like they were lacking in chapters either, they still had 70 more. They just had to speedrun it. And now the third and last relevant character, her ex who shows up half way through the story. I don't even recall his name, other than he was blonde and had a cheating wife. He lost to the great MC Ms Seong eventually so what does it matter?

The comedy was quite good (mostly just ass and amogus references) but then faded into the background after 30 chapters or so and the romance is mediocre. A lot of cliches and you really can't get butterflies when the guy as I said before, is basically just a sugar baby. But I do appreciate that they are three dimensional characters and not just a stereotype. The company fighting + multiple chapters of overly-long flashbacks was the last straw for me. (Around chapter 50~)

The art is pretty good. It helped with the comedy A LOT. There are some semi-realistic expressions which do get a giggle out of me. Probably the best part of the series.

TLDR:
Fails as a comedy and romance. You're better off reading something else.

REVIEW 2.0 FOR THIS SEASON

The first half of this season that was fully dedicated to the Harvest Festival went to the fucking shitter, but it bounced back in the second half like recoil on Prison School's tits and more. It's an amazing series. WATCH IT. Some of the harvest festival episodes are skippable, they don't matter that much if you don't care about the side characters. Only skip if you really hate it, cause after you finish the season you will be craving for more.

The animation is decent, characters are the same as ever. There is more focus on the side characters this season than ... the previous ones, which is fine. They are quite interesting and Iruma still has the spotlight. Also more development between Ameri and Iruma. Also, Clara is amazing. Clara is god. Clara is adorable, I love Clara. She's so cute and childlike, I love it. I want to be Clara. Especially in the last episode. Seeing Clara have fun is so satisfying and fulfilling. The scene where she and Iruma play together made my day. Life truly has meaning when Clara exists. She alone is enough reason for you to see this series to the end. Azz is also pretty cool. Bro is lowkey gay. He got a power-up this season too. Love the main trio's chemistry.

Happy friendships with a darker plot scattered through episodes. I've never seen a series like this before. Not even MHA can compare to this. I LOVE MHA and rate it higher than this, but it's mostly because of the fanfiction potential. The series on its own is a 7/10 at best. Iruma series has gotten a 9/10 just for what it is and nothing more. That's impressive.

SpyxFamily is one of the most overrated anime I've ever seen.Literally everyone on social media praises this thing like it's a masterpiece created by god himself.

SpyxFamily is by no means a bad anime,it's just a really overrated one.It's current score of 9.09 is a massive disgrace.This has a higher score than fucking HxH.The story isn't particularly interesting nor high quality,it's just an average childcare anime.The ones who rated this 10/10 are probably deprived and long for parental love.

The art is actually pretty decent,better than most of the ones this season.The sound is also decent.I've heard worse.

Overall,it's a 7/10.No particular flaws nor strengths.I'll watch it till ... the end,but I won't ever rewatch it.

Saiki K doesn't really have a plot.It's just episodic comedy.
The comedy in this series is top tier,never failing to make me lunch,no matter how many times I rewatch it.No other anime had me laughing as much as Saiki K did.Other's anime comedy is usually repetitive and boring,but Saiki K's isn't.If you are looking for a good comedy anime to just relax and watch to,Saiki K is perfect for you.

Art 6/10

This is it's only flaw.Its basic and choppy at times.But I think it helps with the humour.Very fits a series like this.

I loved the short openings.They really captured the feel of Saiki K.This series' songs are always in my play list.
The English dub for this season was absolutely amazing.I liked it even more than the Japanese dub.The sub Saiki felt dead inside,which fitted but the sarcastic,sassy english dub was way better.I watched this season in sub one and dub twice.I highly recommend you watch this season in dub.Season 2 however,they changed the amazing english dub team so just watch the sub.

Character 10/10

They are all funny.The only unlikable ones were Teruhashi's brother and Kuusuke.
I absolutely adore Kaidou and Saiki,they have been in my favourites for quite a while.Although Teruhashi and Nendou might be considered annoying at times,you can't deny the fact that they add a lot to this series.Providing top tier comedy.

Overall,I think Saiki is a masterpiece.
Highly recommend you watch it.

Komi is a very pretty girl,and quickly became her school's Madonna on her first day,the 'everyone loves me' cliche.

It wouldn't be AS bad if the students were actually normal.They harass Komi-san,which is just uncomfortable.
Komi's goal is to make 100 friends,but it is very hard for her as she has crippling social anxiety,can't talk well to others.

... The 'friends' she make can hardly be considered as friends.She barely ever talks to them,other than Tadano,of course.They are more like random names in her friend book.

Second year,Komi finally makes an actual friend!Manbagi.
Manbagi isn't too bad,but she's there only for the love triangle.


This year,Komi forgets all about her original goal,and all the time is given to the love triangle of Tadano,Komi and Manbagi.

It's quite repetitive,and fails as a rom-com.I have read over 300 chapters of this manga,and never have I ever even chuckled at their terrible jokes.

Third year just started,but the author is already giving out communication problems like candy on Halloween.
Said in big bold words,

The whole class has a communication problem!

They treat mental illnesses as a fucking joke,because it's funny seeing people struggle to talk to each other,amirite?

I had a fucking stroke.

Firstly,our main character,Komi-san.
Nice girl,everyone loves her,bland,at least she's cute.

Next,Tadano.
'Average guy' cliche,at least he can read people well and is a good minor accessory for Komi-san.

Najimi,
You can't tell me with a straight face,that this person has 5million friends.Physically impossible,no matter how friendly you are.

At least Najimi is somehow entertaining,still bland.

Manbagi,
There for the love triangle,at least she isn't dislikable.Average gyaru.

Yamai,
I want to stab her.
I want to stab her.
I want to stab her.

I want to throw her into the very depths of hell,forever.
She is a yandere,sexually harrasses Komi-san,and attempted to kill Tadano.
Yamai doesn't get better.

We also have the Komi's dog-girl,the Komi imperial guards,and other side characters no one remembers are all based off a single description ie.Energetic,Gyaru,Laid-back,narcissist etc.They still have 1 thing in common though,and that is being a sexual harasser.I cannot stress how uncomfortable they make me.Would literally pay to be stepped on by Komi-san.


Overall,fails as a rom-com,repetitive,don't recommend

This is a story,about Ash's journey in Kalos.
First off,I don't recommend this be the first Pokemon series you watch,as it will set your standards high.It is a must watch though.
Second,I watched this in eng dub,so some names I use might be different from yours.

Let's talk about the weird pacing of this series.
I felt the Team Flare taking over the world thing was a bit too rushed.We didn't see them often.I wished they had used the useless filler episodes to build up Team Flare even more.

Still,I loved the final few episodes,when Team Flare took over Lumoise City.I was crying genuine tear when Bonnie sang to Squishy,or well,Zygarde.

Why did I still rate it an 8 then?Bad filler and unbuilt villian team,shouldn't it be a 5 or 6?

This is because,
I like adventure.I like travelling.
Pokemon fits this well.
I just love seeing Ash and his companions on a journey.Meeting new people and Pokemon,discovering even more!Build their friendship,fight evil,I just love any anime with journeys!
I often fantasize,what would I do,if I was isekaid into this world?(God please answer my prayers)
It is on my mind all the time,which made this series unforgettable for me.

Let's talk about the underwhelming characters.

Ash/Satoshi

Our forever 10 years old boy.
He was mature in this series,he was strong,and put up a good fight against Alain.
I loved Greninja's growth from a Froakie,bring em back!
But other than that,nothing much to say.

Just that stereotypical kind and energetic protagonist.


Serena

She went through the most growth.
At the start of the series,she was just some goalless girl,trying to escape from her Rhyhorn training.But as the series goes,she grows too.She finds a passion,a goal.She makes friends,she learns a lot more about Pokemon.She shouldn't have lost that Pokemon showcase master class.I loved her performance.

But,I think she deserved better.
She is the third female protagonist to be a pokemon performer.
THIRD.
(To clarify,I absolutely loved her performance.I thought it was a great moment for her and it was astonishing)
But couldn't the writers give her some other goal?There are many other feminine goals,like fashion designer,or a Pokemon groomer.I could totally see Serena as one,since she already shows some interests in it.

Still waiting for a strong female protagonist that has the same goals as Ash.Would be a great rival and friend!



Overall,I still absolutely love it.If you are a Pokefan and aren't watching this,you are missing out on something in life.

Ah yes,Demon Slayer.Biggest hit anime of the decade.It isn't as good as people say it is.It isn't terrible,but certainly not a masterpiece.

How did Tanjiro ignore the existence of demons all the way up till his family was massacred.Like bruh?
I personally feel the story is a little slow,I don't feel like wanting to watch more than 6 episodes at a time,kinda tiring,I guess?
But it's nice how they give the slained demons a sad story,like even fucking spider boy murderer made me cry.

I can't find any massive pros nor cons,give it a 7.

I really like the art style.One of the best I have seen.Character designs are great.
Only problem I have is the 'comedic' and exaggerated faces,same problem as Full Metal Alchemist,inserting humour into the worst of places.One second they are serious next second they look retarded.I would've much preferred a more subtle approach.

The opening song sounds very good.
There are also high quality earrapes of it on youtube,very nice.

Not counting the demons cause they pop up for 1 or 2 episodes then get killed by Tanijiro and the gang.

Tanjiro really isn't that interesting,just your stereotypical good boy protagonist with some plot armour.

Nezuko
-Run around in tiny form,immediate waifu of the year.

Zenitsu
-Pussy that claps ass with lightning

Inosuke
-Peppa and George's long lost brother.

Not interesting.No development.


Overall,I rate it a 6
Its OK,dont really recommend watching.
You are better off watching something quality like OPM,Mob Psycho 100,Mushoku Tensei,Meikyuu black company etc.

Story:(2)

The settings is quite interesting.Ten-thousand people get locked in a death game.But that's all I can say.

There are some useless filler episodes,where it's just Kirito looking for girls to add to his harem.And they ALL fall in love with him within a day of even knowing him.They act all cute together till Kirito finds Asuna and never sees them again.After a couple of episodes,the series got kinda boring.

I don't normally speed up anime,but SAO was just too boring.I want to see boss fights and Kirito analysing battle tactics,not hitting up some cute waifus.



The 2nd arc of the story was basically Fairy Art Online,might as well ... made it a new series as a sequel to SAO

There are some questionable areas of this anime.

1)Some pervert wants to marry Asuna.But because Asuna is in a coma,and still a fucking minor,they can't have a legal marriage.Therefore,pervert will be adopted by Asuna's family in spirit.Wait,what?

Asuna is literally in a coma,and you want to marry her off to some pervert sniffing her hair?I know her parents don't know about their terrible relationship,but at least wait till she gets out of her coma and states her opinion on her own marriage.Talk about good parents.

2)Sugaha,Kirito's sister,falls in love with him in the 2nd arc.

I know they aren't siblings(Cousins to be exact.Cousins can marry in Japan),but it's still fucked up.Out of everyone to add to Alpha thunder daddy Kirito's harem,they chose Sugaha?Seriously?Thats just fucked up.

3)What was the point in sleep PK?

Yea sure,they MIGHT have gotten the dead player's materials and money,but why?Every player is valuable,they can help a lot in boss fights.There is no way of getting more players,so it's basically like giving up free weapons.

They probably just wanted to kill for shits and giggles,there's no other reason.

4)Akihiko Kayaba forgot why he created SAO

After Kirito defeated Akihiko Kayaba,he asked Akihiko Kayaba why he did all this bullcrap.
His perfect reasoning?

He forgot.

You don't just go trap thousands of people in a game for 2 years,then forget why.What the actual hell?I wanted to go bang my head on the wall after this.

Now first,our Alpha daddy Kirito.The manliest man to ever grace our world with his divinity.

This guy,OP.Did he hack into the system?

He somehow has the highest level of everyone in the game,because he doesn't need to share exp.Aren't there many other people who are solo like him?How come no one is even close to his level?

As if that wasn't enough,he also has a unique skill--Dual wielding.
For comparison,only Heathcliff,the Knight of the Bloods guild founder,has a unique skill other than Kirito.And the guy was the literal fucking creator of SAO.THE CREATOR.Kirito is just a normal player.How,HOW??

His personality is quite bland,uninteresting.



Now,Asuna.

Nothing much about her tbh.She's just strong and a tsundere.


Aight next,Yui.

Yui is an AI developed by Argus to address player mental health concerns in SAO,but was locked away.Yui lost her memories because she was being forced to monitor player mental health without being able to fulfil her duties.

During Kirito and Asuna's little honeymoon,they found and adopted her.Now they have an AI daughter.Kinda sad if you think about it tbh.

There are still many other characters,whose names I do not remember.They normally show up for 3 minutes in an episode and are never to be seen ever again.
