I was somewhat into YGO early in its run on Toonami (or whatever block it was in at the time). But card based anime was never my thing. I always got confused so easily. One character would be getting slaughtered through 3/4 of the episode, all of a sudden the other character whips out a slick trap card and all hell breaks loose. I'm a like, "what the hell? Why did all the water dry up? Why did his giant monster suddenly shrivel up? What happened to all those points he had." Then the person I'm watching with says something like, "cause that card doesn't work in a forest... dumb@$$."
@.@???
I tried. I guess I just need lots of explosions and punching.
downhill as in i'm 200% addicted to anime...i watch anime at work and at home. i have over 1.5 TB of anime...i own 13 anime PVC figures and i have 2 on the way and 33 on pre-order. my life basically revolves around anime.
i like all kinds of anime except yaoi...as long as it can keep me entertained i will watch it.
my all-time favorite is Lucky Star...but other notables are Death Note, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, ef - a tale of memories, ef - a tale of melodies, Toradora!, Shuffle!, Baccano!, Kanon (2006) and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...basically anything i rated a 9 or 10

I think your profile pic is cute, but I'm more of a Kaiba fan :-P just kidding
i've started watching anime in 2005 with Inuyasha but it wasn't until late 2007/early 2008 that everything went downhill.
so what kind of anime do you like?
