Anime watching and manga reading has slowed to a crawl, since I’m more distracted with other things. I’ll continue adding shows that I’ll probably watch, but my progress will probably be at a snail’s pace for them.
200th anime milestone: Girls Last Tour
Hello! I watch anime as a way to pass time, and I use MAL as an easy way to keep track of what I'm watching. My favorite shows are usually the laid back, slice of life types, but I'm willing to try out other shows' genres that catch my eye!
I stopped rating anime. If you want to know my thoughts on a series I watched, just ask me.
I would make my profile look better, but I'm too lazy.
Definitely agree with your thoughts about the movie. It's just that it felt like a shame that the movie had to turn out the way it did. Even as fans, the gaps between the quick transitions were too large to ignore, especially when they axed the entire portion about Yukina being approached by the producer to further raise the stakes and challenge Yukina's intentions. The core elements of the story shouldn't be cut off so abruptly. Maybe they couldn't produce a longer movie; 2hrs would've been ideal to fill in the holes, but I'm sure they had their reasons.
I'm looking forward to the popipa movie as well, it's always a pleasure to look forward to fresh content even though I haven't been keeping up with the game for quite some time now.
LOL. I thought that would happen eventually. An unlicensed ripoff of Kantai Collection that was being programmed by student surely wasn't going to last and was more of a quick cash grab more than anything.
LOL. Yeah, school blows. I am very happy with the shows this season. A lot of them I look forward to every week. Did not think I would like the Centaur one but it's one of my favorites.
Dude, Tsukigakirei is also so good right now. Thought it was going to be boring but I'm actually loving every episode and looking forward to it every week.
Man, you HAVE to catch up. Like, you can't even negotiate it you HAVE to catch up, there's only 3 episodes left in the season and episode 8 is LITERALLY AMAZING.
Been a Katou fan since the first day but after watching episode 8 of Flat I had to raise the banners and show my love and support for best girl. She is perfect in so many ways, waifu potential for when I decide on one.
Doing good. I've been addicted to osu for the past 2-3 weeks so I haven't been watching anime as much as I normally do. It's a struggle to stop playing. D:
Still haven't watched OVA 1. Apparently the subs are really bad. :( I might cave and watch it soon though since I'm not sure if any groups are going to be picking it up any time soon.
I'd definitely riot if we didn't get a second season! Here's hoping episode 2 will be a prologue for what's to come. I need more Akeno Misaki in my life.
I'll keep Lucy on the back-burner for now, bought Eden* last night and am waiting for a couple more VNs to release in the near future. Grisaia: Phantom Trigger is coming out in a week, I backed it on Kickstarter as a huge fan of the Grisaia trilogy. Rewrite+ in English has been announced and I am totally going to buy it and re-read it all over again, Rewrite's my favorite VN. Little Busters is also coming to Steam within the next month or so, excited to play that. Looks like I'll be kept entertained for the next little while.
How's my list looking? Pretty average so far. There are a few shows that I haven't started yet, I'll probably do another round of updates later today as I browse MAL's seasonal tab for shows that just started airing. Aside from Aikatsu Stars and Little Witch Academia from prior seasons, not much to write home about I'm afraid.
Alice to Zouroku is shaping up to be an entertaining anime and I'm a sucker for cute girls, see Sana Kashimura. Story-wise it kind of feels a bit hectic right now but hopefully things start to become clearer. It's one of those where I want to really like it but I feel somewhere along the line things might get messy.
Clockwork Planet is another one that I really want to like but the quality might just not be there. Only seen 2 episodes so far but the pacing feels a bit rushed and Naoto is really doing it for me as a likable character. I've actually been excited for Clockwork Planet since it was announced many months ago, still going to watch it but I don't think it'll end up being as great as I thought it would be.
Armed Girls M....something, is pretty bland/mediocre. Not expecting much.
Same can be said of Twin Angel. Just meh.
I'm actually debating whether or not I should drop Hinako Note. I love CGDCT and SoL, but the show just isn't doing it for me. The only character I like is the blonde cutie maid, Mayuki. Everyone else is kind of boring or have character designs that don't suit me, important details when it comes to shows that don't necessarily have a rich story.
Tsuki ga Kirei looks like a boring romance with an uninteresting main character.
At the time of writing this, I'm going to put Sakura Quest with this group as well. It just feels like an ordinary anime. Reminds me of Shirobako a lot though.
Wow, that's a lot of not-so-good impressions...
Let's get onto the better stuff, Eromanga-sensei will probably be my favorite for this season. I've heard great things about this and the first few episodes have not disappoint! It's funny, cute, and has romance-y vibes which are pretty much things that I look for. SukaSuka will probably be my 2nd. It's set itself up to be quite interesting.
Bastard Magical Teacher and Love Tyrant have been good for me so far.
Oh, and I guess I'll watch Attack on Titan just so I can keep up with the memes...
How's your list coming along?
I took a weekend trip down to Seattle to attend an anime convention. Needless to say, I bought a good deal of merchandise that I am very happy with! I wish it was a trip to Japan though. XD
What do you mean next episode... oh my god there's 2?!? I'm waiting a bit to see if a good translator picks it up, right now the translation looks a bit iffy according to comments and I will try to stay away from Horriblesubs as best as I can.
I noticed you've played Lucy -The Eternity Girl- or something, I was thinking about buying it today.
Edit: Ah, I was on a trip and totally forgot to respond to your previous question! I will once I wake up! :P
