Bringing the otaku culture on it's back, Seitokai no Ichizon is one of those series that simply made to entertain us. The story tells us about the student council of the Hekiyou Gakuen, they are led by a Moe-type girl that often create a strange policy and do their strange job.
Actually, there is no real plot in this anime, Seitokai no Ichizon is an episodic series that stands alone between episodes. The anime filled with parody spit out all over the place. Now, a parody series can extremely fail if the audience didn't know what is being parodied. If you
...
watched some of the popular anime that exist in this anime, then you can feel the hilarious moments that created by this anime. BUT, If you don't have any idea about those anime that has been parodied, then you might feel the flat moments and think this anime is boring and not funny at all.
There is little fineness that we can see in the animation. Almost all of the scenes occurred in one place with a typical style, the student council room. The character design was decent.
As for the sound settings, we have a well-produced sound but not really represents the symbol of this anime. It's not bad but still forgettable...
I repeat, Seitokai no Ichizon is an episodic series while focusing on the enjoyment, the anime almost forgot the important element o a series. YES, it's the character development, a diminutive and forced development brings a cyclone to this anime. While failed in deep development, the anime successfully described the characters within, with their unique traits. These anime have a few back stories, although it's not related with the story.
With all hilarious moments they have, the Hekiyou Student Council did fairly well in their journey to be a well-received series. In the end, it's not a bad anime but not the greatest that ever exist. It's just a stand-alone parody theme anime that does their job, what job? Of course entertain us, the audience...

I attracted to watch Grisaia no Kajitsu since it has a unique theme (psychological+drama), a type of settings that rarely found in this era. Before I starting to watch this, I heard many great things about the Visual Novel. Many people say it's a masterpiece. So, I started to watch with great things imagined in my mind. But after finishing it, I think I drowned into the same swamp again...
Grisaia no Kajitsu is a story about a group of 6 teenagers (5 girls and 1 boy) that have a problem in their life. They cannot go to the regular school because of the problem. Well,
...
I really don't know what to say about the story besides "unfocused storyline and full of flaw". Although I didn't play the Visual Novel, but I know that many plot devices that not exist in the anime. It is really poorly executed and wrecked. Grisaia no Kajitsu is another Visual Novel that failure in story execution. And they still putting fan service while the story is almost faded
I do not say many things about the animation, it's just great. Also, the background reminds me of Angel Beats. And the sound settings was decent
And like they said, too much focusing in one point is a suicide bomb Grisaia no Kajitsu main focus is in the character development, almost all of the main character have their development. But having the character development in all main character not guarantee the character became deep. People say is more concerned with process than results. Well, we have the results, but the process is abstract and full of a question mark in it. This makes the character development not perfectly done well, and such a shame.
Well, the enjoyment we have is see-saw. The feelings are mixed up, the enjoyment shine in the Amane Suou route which is the best route.
And that is Grisaia all about, a highly anticipated anime but full of flaws here and there. In the end, it's just another Visual Novel that loses its storyline but did decent in character development. Is it recommended? Maybe...., but don't throw high hope for this...

Well, if you have seen Sunrise you must be familiar to mechas and robots.
Let us discuss the positive point, shall we? Valvrave the Liberator did well in bringing the individual elements of action and mecha, they did well in the enjoyment of the series.
And then the negative point, many mecha series that did a successful job to bring a well-oriented plot. While Valvrave the Liberator did a different thing, they put more action to the plot and abandoned the complexity of the plot which created a lousy storytelling. The other points we must know is a typical story opening that makes Valvrave lack
...
of originality. It really makes this anime into a replica of the Gundam franchise.
Well, we know Sunrise is a rich company. Therefore, it's not strange that Valvrave got the animation that needed to make this anime beautifully standing in top of the world. It has a detail and pretty animation. Talk about high budget show...
And the sound settings is another good thing in this show, the opening song "Preserved Rose" sung by Nana Mizuki and T.M Revolution really got the beat. The seiyuu did a fairly well job.
Okay, if you expect a deep character in this anime, it means you choose the wrong door. First, we have our typical male hero, Haruto. He is a type of a heroic character that surrounded by two girls and one man (sorry). There is minor development that discovered within him (poor hero...). To make matter worse, he is stupid when it comes to romance. Next is the infinity number of the supporting cast that makes the entire cast too flat and flaw.
The enjoyment of the series has just saved this anime from catastrophe, it is recommended for Mecha fans. If you look for deep character and a decent storytelling you come to the wrong place but if you interested in 24 minutes filled with action and a little fan service, give it a try. At least, it's still enjoyable to watch....

At the first time, i watch C, I think it's just another bizarre superpower anime. But after I watch it, I completely change my mind. The phrase that immediately comes to my mind is "bizarre but unique".
C: The Money Of Soul and Possibility Control have a comprehensive plot that rarely founded in 11 episode (only in Higashi no Eden). The level of originality of the story is above average. The anime proves that to appear different it's not a bad thing. The battle really looks like a kid battle for me, which a little dull because the poor execution that given. The problem
...
is the story weighed so much that sometimes feels overloaded for a short anime.
The art is good and unique, the character has a unique design that rarely seen. The background is amazing. There are several scene and frames using CG, its add another attraction of this anime.
Like many anime, all of the sound aspects is decent. Not much to say in this section, but the ending tune kinda reminds me with Persona songs, which is good.
As for the character, we have a poor character development. Our character division is quite typical as well. We have our dull male leader, Yoga Kimimaro. He is another typical male lead that usually appear in shounen series, and we have Msyu the hero's partner. The most massive character development centered in Mikuni (because he has some interesting back story). Other character did not have a proper development.
In the end, C is another enjoyable series. Although the battle scene is not the main interest of this anime, but the enjoyment level of this anime is high. It is highly recommended for those who seeks unique settings, and for those who enjoy a short but good anime...

Some 'people' may describe Slice of Life is nothing but a boring genre, the phrase for someone who dislike SOL is "Why do we have to watch anime that tells the life we live day to day?", but the truth is not like that. One of the main objectives of a Slice of Life genre is delivering a straight message of life itself. And Barakamon is a great example to prove that.
Barakamon begins with a small plot. A small plot that circles Barakamon is not giving the anime a weakness, but it give the story a power to weighted the story itself. One of the
...
reasons why is because the premise of the story. The premise really represents the true feeling of the story.
The story makes all of the genre (including Shounen and Magic) speechless with no words in the brain, it's really fresh your mind.
For a modern anime, Barakamon has a beautiful animation, a magnificent light, and a unique character design makes the art is one of my favorite. The animation is well-matched within the story.
One thing we must notice in the sound settings is the Opening song, "Rashisa" sung by SUPER BEAVER is really makes a reflection to myself, the feelings of the song is delivered successfully within my heart. While the background music is quite decent, the seiyuu did a very good job in bringing such feelings to the screen.
As we can see, the massive character development that occurs is a center in our main character, Handa Seishuu. As the other character, there is a simplistic but unique character division on display, surely it is a great character division.
I enjoyed Barakamon a lot, it's successfully charming my harsh feeling into a mild feeling. It's quite memorable and full of excitement that occurs in the story. It is highly recommended for a simple Slice of Life fans.
In the end, Barakamon is another great show that succeeds in the feelings and excitement in the story, by the way (this is the first time I threw a 9 in my review...). Trust me, it works...

The sequel of Hamatora The Animation completely exceed my expectation, the series is truly different from its prequel and different in terms of good.
One of the massive different that created in Re:␣Hamatora is the story orientation, Re:␣Hamatora have clearer story orientation than its prequel. The main plot of the story is visible, the story evolves nicely and keeps focusing to the main plot itself. It maybe not the best that exist, but the plot manage to balance the story. One more thing that we should notice that the sequel appeals more to the mystery instead the comedy. So the main attraction has changed to
...
the mystery. While the positive is lying in the ground, the negative is playing in the back scenes. Re:_Hamatora have some plot holes here and there which are too bad.
Like modern anime these days, the animation is decent. The animation of Re:_Hamatora is less colorful than its prequel and has the darker feeling than it's prequel. But the good news is no need to suffer that series of contrast anymore!
What can I say about the sound? It's quite decent, the seiyuu is doing a fairly good job. I should say that the Opening song "Sen no Tsubasa" is successfully beating my heart with its beat... while the ending is ordinary.
While the story has a magnificent job to save the anime, the character is a bit flat. There are many unused supporting characters in Re:_Hamatora, there is minimum development between these characters. Our main antagonist motive is very weak while others are fine.
It was enjoyable, not the most enjoyable anime but can fill you with excitement and its jocularity.
In the end, Re:_Hamatora quite succeeds in saving its prequel from the apocalypse, if you want to watch an anime with Super Power filled with mysteries that lies hidden within the stories, then it's for you.

Based off the light novel was written by Yuyuko Takemiya (best known for the creator of Toradora!).
The series started in a private law school, the school freshman Tada Banri found himself lost, then he encounter another school freshman Yanagisawa Mitsuo. They found themselves appear in front of a woman bringing a bouquet of flower, named Kaga Kouko, Mitsuo's childhood friend. Kaga Kouko slapped a bouquet to Mitsuo's face. From there the series begins.
Golden Time offers us an incorporate romance-comedy. For a romance anime, Golden Time has unique settings that set up in a private school (not in the usual High School). Golden time has
...
a well-thought plot that able to describe the true feelings of the story itself. Sometimes you can feel the light of this series, and sometimes it can bring you into a dense situation where there is nothing you can do but sit and watch. Golden Time has a medium pacing, which is fair enough. And there, we have a very typical conflict, the problem is not the typical fact, but the level plausibility of the conflict, various watchers maybe annoy by the conflict that inserted in this series, which can bring some soap opera in your brain + think this is a typical drama TV shows, which makes Golden Time have no originality in the conflict sides. And to make things worse, we have a less satisfy forced ending.
The animation of Golden Time done by J.C. Staff. The animation is clear, bright, and many good things. Although not the best, Golden Time animation is fair enough to control the feeling of the series.
As for the sound section, Golden Time has a fairly good sound settings, the seiyuu did a pretty good job in bringing such character to the screen. The 1st opening song "Golden Time" sung by Horie Yui is quite matched within the feeling of the series while the other songs are decent.
While the animation and the sound shine Golden Time perfectly, the character is another savior to cover the story.
One thing important we must remember in this series is "a well profound development". Golden Time successfully save himself, each character displayed to have their own role, making a reason to their presence. A very profound feelings within the main characters is able to balance the story up.
Golden Time brings us a real colorful of enjoyment, a see-saw feelings between bore or not. The series quite refreshing at the first, a bit dull in the middle, and ends with a lot of surprises and excitement. Golden Time is a weighted series, practically well recommended for the fans of a dark Romance-Comedy genre, and for those who seeks many surprises in their eyes.

When Sword Art Online II appears, a beam of light peep out in my mind and hope that the sequel able to cover all its mistakes.
But again, my hope was shattered into a dust
Based off the light novel written by Reki Kawahara, Sword Art Online II is a sequel of Sword Art Online. The series started after the Alfheim Online's Arc, in a new game called Gun Gale Online, where a string of deaths begins occurring in the game. Our main character, Kirigaya Kazuto is assigned to enter Gun Gale Online to investigate the cause of the deaths.
The story is divided into 3 arcs:
...
Gun Gale Online (or Phantom Bullet), Calibur, and Mother's Rosario.
The story adapts the same conflict of the previous series (the point of murdered inside a game), but in a different way. The story offers us a great action and fierce battle scene. At the Gun Gale Online arc, the story has a decent orientation and still manage to bring the main idea of the story itself. But after the GGO arc, I found out that Sword Art Online once again failed to live up to my expectation. After the GGO arc, there is a dull arc (Calibur Arc) where the fillers leak out from all directions. Into the last arc, Mother's Rosario is an arc that transforms this into a drama series in a bad way. They force up a few episodes into tears while forgetting the main story itself, and causes a heavy damage to the ending itself. Again, SAO is failed to revive itself.
Let's forget the story section and move to the animation section. The animation is done by A-1 Picture, they bring a wonderful and attractive animation which became the main reason to watch this anime. And became the diamond itself within the series.
As for the sound section, the seiyuu did fairly well when bringing such character to the screen. The 1st opening theme "Ignite" sung by Eir Aoi really describe the GGO arc very well, the other soundtracks are decent.
Again, Sword Art Online II does the same poor development on the character section. Our new female lead, Sinon is the only character that having an interesting and meaningful development. While our male lead, Kirigaya Kazuto is far behind our new female lead, same as our old female lead, Yuuki Asuna. The Kirito's harem and his friend are same too. Other characters besides Sinon are not having a single development at all. Also, the main antagonist of the GGO arc had a relatively weak motive.
I found Sword Art Online II shine brightly in my enjoyment at the Gun Gale Online arc. After that, SAO doesn't have anything in its storage, just a dull and fair entertainment in our glance. It is fairly recommended to the big fans of the SAO series. Overall, I think SAO once again fell into the darkness.....

Based off the light novel was written by Gakuto Mikumo,
The story tells us a boy named Akatsuki Kojou, that turns out to be The Fourth Progenitor, the world's strongest vampires in the world. He was followed by a girl named Yukina Himeragi, who came from the Lion King organization to observe the Fourth Progenitor.
I found out the two lines above really offers me a unique set-up of an anime, and the genres "Action+Ecchi" really offers us a combination of a real action and a desirable fan service. But not the story. The plot is divided into several simplistic arcs, that actually works with the
...
entire series. The problem of Strike the Blood is the poor story execution that turns out to be a dull for someone who doesn't really into Action or Ecchi genres. And to make things worst, there are some plot holes about how Kojou become the Fourth Progenitor too. Besides that, some people may think Strike the Blood is cool, and some people maybe think it's one of those typical Harem that ruins their senses, but in the reality, it has a decent story indeed.
The most precious diamond that lies in the anime is the Animation , like almost every modern anime in this era, they all offers us a great animation. We have a catchy and clear art, with an amazing visual effects and fighting scenes. It's really the main attraction of the anime itself.
There is not much to talk about in the sound section, but I found my heart racing when hearing the 1st opening song "STRIKE THE BLOOD" which sung by Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. Meanwhile, the 2nd opening song, & the endings is decent. The seiyuu did fairly well when bringing such character to the screen.
Well, most anime have a serious problem on the character section, Strike the Blood is the perfect example of it. In the early episode of the series, Strike the Blood really promising us a meaningful development.
But the reality didn't accept that wish, there is no meaningful development that grows. The only thing we have is a simple division character. In the main character, we have our male lead Akatsuki Kojou, the Fourth Progenitor. And since the Fourth Progenitor is the strongest vampire in the world, of course there is no trouble when Kojou faces the enemies by himself (Notes: He sometimes really weak and then get helped by his own harem). Then, beside our male lead we have a collection of girls that fell in love with our male lead, the male lead gain strength by drinking the virgins blood. With that combination ahead of us, the characters became a real messy. And besides that, most of the enemy is doesn't get a development because they all defeated by Kojou in the end of the arc.
Although Strike the Blood has some mistakes in the execution, I found the title itself memorable in my brain. Since this is a Shounen anime, women may not found this anime interesting. It is recommended to those who prefer action than story and prefer fan service than development. Overall, it is decent and fairly enjoyable....

Sometimes you don't need a romance filled with actions everywhere, and also, sometimes you don't need a serious dramatic romance. You just need a simple, but profound love to found the perfect beauty of romance.
The main idea is so simple, it's about love that appears and blooms between teenagers, a various film that used this plot pattern suffer failure in their ranks, but Tamako Love Story able to bring all of its potentials to the big screen in one piece. We have to notes, that it's prequel (or should i say Tamako Market) is a blank comedy series, filled with fat bird with no
...
sense of direction.Tamako Love Story successfully covered the mistakes that it's prequel made.
Kyoto Animation brings us the old tradition of their art. A sweet, clear, and neat art. It is a good art indeed. The sound settings maybe not the best that exist, but it have a nostalgic& well-matched sound settings within the series.
Tamako Love Story have a great development, All pieces that scattered in its prequel, is connected creating strong bonds between the two main characters, after watching this I pretend to forget that fat bird to exist. The main character realizes his feelings to the other.
It is quite enjoyable for me. If you a fan of the light story, I'm fully recommended Tamako Love Story, anybody who watched Tamako Market should watch this film too. It's breathtaking, light, and brings serenity to your heart....
