Finally i started reading manga again after i took a break from anime/manga, however i am still not really in the mood for any anime.
I see you're watching Basilisk, i rarely hated a character in an anime as much as i hate Tenzen, i have yet to finish this anime but i hope he gets what he deserves in the end or else i would be very disappointed . Xam'd: Lost Memories was a good anime,great animation and fights and also i liked the music. so how is Soul Eater? i see you finally decided to start it :)

While i was not reading manga or watching any anime i started my journey into the fantasy genre :) I read the 1st novel from the Malazan book of the Fallen, Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson, i liked it a lot, 9 novels left in this series! I also plan to start reading probably the most popular and appreciated fantasy series right now,it's George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, i kept postponing this one since he really takes it time finishing it, he still has 3 more books to publish but none were released for 5 years or so.

Yeah,at the moment no one really cares about the swine flu here either, the health department confirmed some deaths and many had this flu but i think everyone overreacted, i did not get the vaccine since i felt i was not properly informed about what it contains,about the side effects and so on.

btw I love the weather here right now! It's been snowing since this morning :D it's like 6 hours i think.

I got too see some of the Itachi vs Sasuke fight, it seems they are doing a great job at animating the manga this time, true there are still quite many fillers, but the main story is entertaining and the most important fights had great animation. btw i just saw some weeks ago a top of the most hated characters in Naruto(anime) and it seems Sasuke,Naruto and Sakura(definitely agree on her) were in the top 3(or 4) lol i can't remember any other shounen anime/manga where its most important characters are also the most hated ones.Also can't wait to see the next arc animated, Pain vs Konoha will be great,especially one fight i can't wait to see how they will animate it, don't want to mention which since maybe you did not read the manga.
Also since you mention Saiunkoku Monogatari,i remeber i watched some episodes of it, if you want a nice fantasy anime try Juuni Kokuki or Guin Saga, both are worth it

We did not have that much snow this winter, we had some heavy snow like two times till now, but after a few days it melted and it started raining and everything looked ugly and muddy :( also no snow for the holidays,i really wish for more snowy days. Right now it's not raining,it's not snowing, it's like 2 degrees Celsius.

While you did not have time for anime i decided to maybe take a break from anime/manga since i don't seem to enjoy stuff that definitely suits my tastes that much anymore, so i am reading more books lately,also started a new tv series,Chuck,mostly because i saw some scenes and it looked funny.True Blood also looks like a nice tv show,i might also give that one a try.I am mostly looking for shows i have not seen any episodes of, but i am ok with Chuck right now since i don't have the time to watch more that one series.

btw i am curious how the swine flu is evolving there, did you get the vaccine? or did things calm down or were things never that serious there? just curious :)

Yeah i noticed that too about Bleach even if i don't watch the anime, it's fillers after fillers and then some more fillers,but even with the manga,not spoiling anything of course,the conclusion of the shinigami vs the espada was quite disappointing,at least the battles in Naruto are far more satisfying,i just can't wait to see a certain fight animated,i don't watch the Naruto anime but i will definitely check out this battle...now if i think back,like two years ago,i would have never thought i would say Naruto was better than Bleach,but now it actually is(i mean the manga,since both anime have too much fillers),there is actually story and character development in Naruto while in Bleach ....nothing. Of course,from all the fighting shounen,One Piece is still the king :D

So you did finish Toradora,you really rate high anime you don't like :p
If you don't have that much free time for anime maybe try watching some movies or ova's,that's what i have done lately,still i did also start the original Macross tv series :)

nope,i have not heard of Trudi's Canavan trilogy,but they look quite interesting,there is no romanian version of them so i guess i will have to try and find the english ones.Till i get some good fantasy novels i plan on reading some well known sci-fi books,like the Dune series(i loved the 2nd mini-series) and the Ender series, i have high expectations from both of them.

Well .. ehm.. I actually follow 7 on-going shows.. like darker than black 2 + book of bantorra and the rest..

The rest are ehmm.. kind of on-hold .. but Im too lazy to tag it that way :p

Oh well.. I was about to recommend you an anime that would make u laugh and cheer u up a bit, namely: "teh girl who leaped thru time".. But you already saw that one :P.. and probably enjoyed it as much as I did :p.

Otherwise you could maybe try: "Golden Boy".. it could really crack u up :o .. but it might only be suitable for 'young otuka boys' :o. Cuz it's super ecchi!

Anyways.. have fun.. and don't watch too much anime.. it's bad for u :o
