Hi there
Onikukki Jun 4, 2017 10:07 PM
It certainly does! I was thinking just the other day how it used to be much cooler during June, and even how it snowed during Halloween when I was very young..
Onikukki May 30, 2017 1:27 PM
Haha, so true, and all of the cool places of the country (at least in my case) are mobbed with tourists seeking an escape from the heat. I just like summer because it means less deadlines..
Onikukki May 22, 2017 12:35 AM
Why does the summer suck? :(

Happy Summer!

Yeah it's been a little up and down but more up so I shouldn't really complain! Happy 2017!

Hope you had a nice Christmas season!

Haha, yup! I honestly don't bother with Touhou anymore. Don't spread that around though.. I don't wanna get beat up.

I'm really not sure. Probably just poor senior management? Who knows why people do anything!

Sometimes CG is quirky enough that it lends itself positively to a show, but for the most part it's just clunky and awkward. Even when we get to the point where great CGI is cheap & quick to produce, I think it'll be hard for me to completely transition from hand drawn anime.

Yeah it's not a problem at all! I just like to try and keep in touch with my friends. I totally understand not wanting to be on here 24/7 haha.

It started out as a modification for a different game, which was very fun, so they made an official standalone game which was basically a completely scam.

There isn't a whole lot of logic involved, and recruiters for companies complain about the same thing. Organizations suffer when they don't have enough manpower.

I'll definitely check out New Game. I hadn't heard about Berserk being CG - that's really disappointing. I'll give it a shot anyways but I very, very rarely like CG compared to the "traditional" drawn/animated style.

Don't worry about it - I'm on here once or twice a week when I update my watch list, but I know how busy life can be!

Did you look it up? It's a damn tragedy!

Hiring in the U.S. is frustrating and competitive. They want you to have a degree from a University, but they also want you to have lots of professional experience, which means you don't meet the hiring criteria until you're like, 25 to 30 years old. Internships are a great way to get to know a company and "get your foot in the door" right out of school so you don't have to go "job hopping" for experience. I hope that made sense. /end rant

The internship actually sounds pretty challenging, but I'm not opposed to plugging in printers if that's what the company needs me to do!

I haven't started watching anything from this season yet, but I've received tons of good recommendations including New Game!. I also plan to watch 91 Days and pick up the reboot of Berserk!.

Case in point, DayZ!

The internship will most like be 6 or 8 weeks - it's for next summer. I'm supposed to hear from HR within a week with (hopefully) good news. It's an internship with a large construction firm, but I'd be implementing security for their electronic equipment. (I'm a Computer Science & Engineering student)

It sounds really difficult but the experience would be invaluable. Have you started any Summer 2016 shows?
