Ah, I see. Hmm... maybe look into Ghost Hound. Skimming through a few psychological interest stacks would probably reveal most of the good ones.

Psychological anime? Uh, not sure what you've seen, other than I checked that you haven't seen Boogiepop Phantom, so I'll suggest that. For a few more that are all different, I suppose Id: Invaded, Psycho-Pass, Lain, first season of Higurashi, and certain Satoshi Kon films and Paranoia Agent. Kara no Kyoukai is also a popular one.
