"One of my issues with Modern Anime is that they lack sophistication when it comes to the story and dealing with various subject matters."
You're acting as if Old Anime NEVER had that issue. lol That's freaking rich. XD
I am actually thinking of buying the manga boxset. GiTS might be a good enough manga to buy :)
I prefer reading manga on my 10 inch tablet. The bigger the screen, the better. I deleted all other apps from it, you can't even browse internet on it XD
I have been on a manga reading spree too :)
You haven't heard of Saiki Kuso no Psi-nan? O.O Wow. Drop everything you are doing right now and watch it. It is about a guy has psychic powers and can do pretty much anything. It is a good comedy show :)
I recently got a 6 inch phone and I still wish the screen was a bit bigger XD
I will watch Ghost in the Shell sometime. It is just that it is too long and I end up putting it off most of the time.
I haven't been watching a lot of anime these days. The only good anime I am currently watching is Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan 2.
What about you? What have you been watching?
Whoa. I thought I replied to your comment already. Sorry about that -.-''
My tablet is pretty much a manga and book reader. I uninstalled everything I don't need. You can't watch videos on it, browse the web or even open the playstore. It doesn't even have a sim card in it. My sister complains that I turned a handsome tablet into a kindle :D
I prefer 2 in 1 mini laptops with a detachable screen. We got one of those for my mom and I like it. I might consider getting one for myself. I do love having a keyboard and being able to detach the screen and use it like a tablet. Too bad 2 in 1s weren't such a big thing when I bought my laptop. I have a 360 degree rotatable screen but it doesn't have the charm of a tablet >.<
20th Century Boys is a pretty good choice. I want to buy all the Monster volumes before I start buying any other boxsets ._.
Let me read some of your fanfics when you are done :)
I usually download anime on my PC and watch the episodes at my leisure :)
I don't even have a TV. My sister and I have our laptops and we don't even watch the same anime most of the time. So we didn't want a TV. Even my mom would rather watch things on our desktop PC than on our TV.
I have recently started reading manga on my tablet. It is much better than reading manga on my phone.
I consider any device that has a less than 12 inches screen as small XD
I do watch anime on my phone but I usually never watch anime with good animation on it, like Kubikiri Cycle or Asura etc. I try avoid watching anime on my phone if I can help it. I usually carry my laptop and if I can't do that, I settle for reading manga on my phone.
I will be waiting to hear your opinion on Beautiful Dreamer.
I want to watch all the episodes of Ghost in the Shell too. I know the animation is really good in some parts and the story sounds rather interesting too.
Happy new year! \^^/
Though I am almost a month late -.-''
I prefer reading manga on my whole when I am travelling, as long as the road is not too bumpy. I feel like I miss a lot of animation details when I watch an anime on a small screen.
Urusei Hatsura: Beautiful Dreamer has a lot of episodes and movies :O Good luck completing all of them. Let me know if it is any good :)
I do the same thing. I wait until at least 5-10 episodes are out and then watch them ._. I wonder if I will retire by the time One Piece ends XD
I am rather careful with the animes I watch. I do watch plain cliched stories but it is more of a conscious choice. So I hardly feel disappointed. By the way, if you want to watch anime an anime that tries to do something different, try watching Kubikiri Circle. I started watching it expecting a typical detective anime and I was pleasantly surprised.
By the way, I started catching up on One Piece and I feel really irritated with all the silliness. One Piece hasn't gotten anywhere for the past 10+ years. I wish I could drop it the way you did but it sort of feels weird to drop OP after watching over 800 episodes ;_;
Whoa! No wonder I felt like I already replied to you XD
I have seen digital marketers creating ads before. They were mostly for a hospital. I always thought their job must be really challenging :O
I have never been a big fan of games. Tough sometimes I wish I liked video games. Calling yourself an otaku feels weird when you are not a gamer.
Let me know if Stranger Things is good. I don't have a Netflix subscription though :P I never felt the need to create a Netfix account, considering how all I watch is anime and drama.

Yes. We need more holidays :3
How do you like Ghost in the Shell?
More so than recently, that's not something I really want now.

Your own anime script? As in a fan fiction? :O

I plan to watch Mahoutsukai no Yome too. I heard many good things about it.
I know how that feels. My 'to watch' list is as big as a mini dictionary :'(
I've been watching a lot of random shows lately. I started Seto no Hanayome, Osomatsu-san, Zetsuen no Tempest :)
I do the same thing. I wait until at least 5-10 episodes are out and then watch them ._. I wonder if I will retire by the time One Piece ends XD

I wish I was a super otaku >.< It is funny though, because when Japanese people talk about otakus, they are probably referring to people like this https://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/hunterxhunter/images/4/4b/Milluki%27s_room_2011.jpg XD
