ngl that was actually a flawless description of what nana is, I agree the way the characters are made where they have their own personal struggles, ideals and seeing their feelings but at the same time not their inner thoughts makes this grey area you spoke of, which is what makes the characters human like you said. I do be feeling pain for noubu tho no cap , YES the music in nana is amazing, i love the opening and especially starless night that one hits different for sure .

yea my anime history is similar to you except i got properly introduced to anime when i asked a friend of mine what anime he was watching and then from there my journey of anime and manga begun

I havent seen all the arcs since i haven't read the manga yet, however the first season was phenomenal to me because the way it ended was amazing, when askelad died which was painful to see ngl, the scene where thorfinn threw his knife was just beautiful, the meaning behind it was so deep, the fact he threw the knife was the moment of realization to finding out that he wasn't after askelad's head and realizing that he really had no enemies in the show except the pain and agony he felt due to his father's death ( I can go on and on but idk if you want to discuss it) for me akselad and especially Thorfinn development is insane.

HOLY SHIIIIIIT! part 3 is very good i loved the world building and the characters but as for anime for me part 4 overtime became my fav ( I love all the parts of jojo) , it was so unique and KILLA QUEEN DAISO NI BAKUDAN BITE ZA DUSTO is just amazing ability no cap. yeah part 7 is amazing because that's when araki goes from shounen to seinin in the genre for jojo , also part 6 has an insane ending you will see soon when anime finishes.

you know actually funny thing I realized recently that when I was also around 8/9, I was watching anime too without realizing, some of them were yugi, pokemon, hxh,inazuma eleven etc , but around 12/13 is when I properly got into watching and reading and now I'm 18 which makes it almost almost 6 years

True I heard about it from a friend aswell as to how dark punpun is and I actually read "a girl on the shore" for the same creator, which now seeing your recommendation and my friends makes it officialy in my priority plan to read.
Vinland Saga Is AMAZING especially the ending of s1, i wanted to read the manga but then I wanted to see the show animated cuz of the fights and emotion.

OMG don't get me started on Nana literally have a whole ass playlist for just listening to black stones/Trapnest the openings/endings all amazing UGHH love them all equally, the way ai yazawa made the fits for hachi and nana osaki all perfect Omg literally took some fashion inspos from nana osaki wish I can buy Vivienne Westwood but its SOO EXPENSIVE.
