Nice! I haven't watched a lot of anime this year since I'm busy with a lot of things but my favorite so far is Bocchi the Rock. Such a dumb yet lovable show.

Another show worth watching this year for me was Kongming. A very good main cast as well as nice humor.

Oh, damn, eight times. That's impressive.
And yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing. I don't remember as much as I should from my first, so taking a different approach will be fun.
I'll alternate between chronological and release order every time I rewatch it.

Yeah, that's an issue I've run into with my friend; he's the only one I've recommended KnK to. He did watch the first two movies; I'll give him that. He stopped ever since - and he stopped watching anime for the time being, so I don't see him finishing it anytime soon. Sadge.

But 3 and 1 are equally good to me. I have to admit, though, that I'm slightly biased because Fujino is in the third movie lol.
The second and fourth movies are equally good to me, as well (since the former characterizes Shiki and the latter develops it further.)

Honestly, I love the 5th and 7th movies a lot; I gave both of them a 10/10. I can certainly see why someone might prefer one over the other; it's reasonable.
Yes, I agree - Mirai Fukuin—to a certain extent—ruined what the previous movies built upon from the start. 'Ruined' is a strong word, but you get what I mean lol. Personally speaking, I consider it a movie that has no relation to the previous movie in terms of sequentiality; perhaps calling it a side story or a filler would be appropriate.
But then again, I didn't really hate it. At the very least, we got to see Shiki in the other kimono, which is fucking adorable, by the way.

Fair enough. I've been contemplating rewatching KnK for a while now, and I will. I don't think one watch is enough to absorb every minute detail; after all - it's complex and vague. In a good way, of course.
And to be honest, you're the reason I got into it, to begin with, after seeing it was in your favourites. You have my gratitude for that.

Not in a thousand years would I have anticipated the day when you, of all people, place a character above Shiki Ryougi lol. I guess some impossibilities are just a possibility, after all.

Also fine, albeit busy with work.

I spend my time on either watching more shows just to lower my mean score for whatever reason or gaming.
