The anime Bunny Girl Senpai may not be as absurd as it sounds, but it definitely deserves the watch.
I'll admit that what brought me to watch this anime was the initial hype it received, and watching the first few episodes i found it quite cheesy because for one, I'm a physics major so seeing all these quantum concepts thrown around definitely made me laugh at how cheesy the whole show was.
Let me tell you watching these physics concepts be used to describe the situations of the characters, well let me just say that I need to have a word with the person behind all this
...
to explain that superposition doesn't work that way and a whole lotta other stuff. But after i got over them butchering my favorite subject i really got to appreciate the anime
Story wise there isn't that much to say about it, I mean any person that watches anime can predict what will happen in the next 10 minutes. But what really got me was the attention to detail the authors gave to the story. Sure you can tell how its gonna turn out, but the way they executed it was top notch, enough to bring tears to my eyes. The way each character interacts with the MC felt so refreshing and real, in a way it deviates from the typical character tropes in anime. And not to mention the banter, it felt so realistic, something real friends would argue about.
On top that, each character is dynamic and was well fleshed out. Props to the producer for managing each character correctly despite the 13 episode limit. Each character had enough screen time to properly engage with the audience and make them relate to the situation. Perhaps what I liked about the anime was that, even though the base premise of it revolved around the absurdity of the situations, at the core of those situations were all problems every adolescent can relate to. It explores these problems by exaggerating them, using hyperboles to better explain how the character feels towards each problem. It reaches out to the audience and gives them something to relate to.
The sound and music of the anime was the icing on the cake. The upbeat tunes and sunny melodies give life to the show, while the soft piano and slow pangs make each problem all the more heart wrenching and each resolution all the more satisfying. It gives you a nice down-to-earth feeling of youth and overall makes each scene more vibrant and more immersive.
Its that type of anime that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling after you watch it, and well, I for one can't wait to go back to school and live out the rest of my youth.

When I finished watching the series I wanted to see what the opinions of others were, but it kinda bummed me out a bit when they referred to the lightnovels or the past adaptations. Not that there is anything wrong with doing so, its just that I would like to read on what the anime was, not what it was supposed to be. I myself haven't seen or read any Kino's journey material so this review will be fresh and vanilla, based only on this anime and specifically made for those others like me.
Story:
If you haven't already read from the description (or the
...
title of the anime) the story of the anime revolves around the adventures of Kino, a young traveler who jumps from country to country learning all the different cultures and practices of each place.
The flow of the story is erratic, meaning, for the most part, you could watch episode 10 without needing to watch the previous episodes. Although there are some episodes where you need to watch to understand the flow, this doesn't heavily affect your watching experience (trust me i accidentally watched episode ten after episode three and I still love this anime to pieces).
The different philosophies of each country were interesting for the most part, showcasing the different sides of humanity. It was extremely entertaining to watch the protagonist handle the different situations that come along the way. Each episode offers a treat, weather it be a lighthearted comedy bit or a heart-wrenching story it always brought something new to the table.
Art:
The art of the anime was well done as the color pallet really helped show us the beauty in Kino's world. The vibrant colors puts you in a very peaceful trance and helping you set the mood of the adventure.
Sound:
Let me just get this out now: i LOVE the closing sound track. The music of the anime works so well in immersing you in Kino's world. If I were to name the feeling that the music brought out of me, the closest would be freedom. The music did such a good job in setting the mood of the anime from start to finish and it has certainly earned my praise.
Character:
Aside from Kino and Hermes not much character development happened throughout the anime as the focused more on the adventure aspect of it. The supporting characters weren't exactly fleshed out and you don't really know what makes them tick, showing the anime's focus on the main characters. Although underdeveloped, it doesn't really hurt your watching experience.
If you watch Konosuba for its comedy, or Attack on Titan for its action, you would know Kino's journey for its adventure. Overall this anime is premium popcorn for anyone watching and is a special treat for adventure seekers, so if you couldn't tell from my review, I highly recommend you watch it.
(And feel free to message me and tell me your experience ^_^)

Right from the get-go you could already see where this anime was leading. From the quotes that appear each episode to the overall vibe of the anime you could tell it was a melodrama school life anime.
The show had a decent start, showing off to the audience the main premise of the anime and what it will revolve around. The point system was.....unique, I'll give it that but I can't bring myself to say that its a good one. The reason being, yes it was something that caught my attention, but not long enough for me to last the entire series.
Aside from the main
...
cast, all the other characters were pretty generic, and on top of that the story didn't really have that good of an execution. The concept in itself was, as I said, unique and I did want to find out how they manage to pull off getting more points than class A. But despite all that there were some instances where the execution was basically putting too much seasoning on a plain strip of ham. By that I mean they tended to overdo and overcomplicate an otherwise generic plot.
The highpoint of this anime was the reasoning of the main character and finding out how he'd deal with the different situations, but since I've watched Oregairu (and loved it) it was like watching Hikigaya Hachiman and his group with different hairstyles (but even their hairstyles look similar).
There was also a lot of character exposition but not much development. The only well developed characters of the series were the main cast, the rest seem pretty two dimensional. There are some characters that stand out, but thats because its what the anime intended (intentionally giving them flashy or unique features) but sadly they weren't developed too much. I mean the by the end of the anime I felt as if i had been watching a prologue due to the lack of content in the show.
But despite all this I couldn't bring myself to hate the anime, in fact I even found it quite good. Once you get past the cheesy melodrama things they added, you'd see that there are a lot more layers to this anime than what was first given. As you get further into the anime you'll finally get to see the interesting mind games that would make your head really spin. Even the characters started to deviate from the Oregairu cast and became their own unique personas. On top of that, the entire thing was well animated and had good art and music.
Sadly this does happen in the latter part of the anime, so people tend to burn out by then. Or if they do watch, its out of obligation and they don't tend to enjoy it as much.
In my opinion, this show is an acquired taste. I mean if you'd look at the review section, they either scored really high or really low, but how you enjoy the anime is entirely up to you.
Overall if you like Oregairu, or any school life melo drama I have a feeling that you'd appreciate at least one thing in the show haha. If you are new to this genre feel free to give it a try.

From the starting episodes Re:Creators looked like a contender for anime of the year with its amazing visuals, intriguing plot and nice music. But somewhere halfway the tension dropped and it became much longer than it had to be.
Though i do admit the episodes were intended to develop the characters but it should not come at the cost of quality.
To its credit it picked up the slack towards the end and gave me quite a rush and showed me its 'anime of the year' material which left me satisfied.
Although its quality only shined in the earlier and latter parts of the anime i
...
still recommend you watch it.

This show had so much potential.
Aside from the intense violence there wasn't much that stood out to me from this anime. The plot was as generic as you can get, to the point where you can call whats going to happen 3 episodes before it actually happens.
Its a shame the characters died with close to no exposition, it made their deaths feel irrelevant. I felt as if i should have been punched in the gut or something when they died but since they were poorly developed I didn't feel much towards it.
And don't even get me started on how it ended

For the sake of this review I'll pretend like i haven't read the manga yet so you scrubs can keep up :>
After four years we our wait has finally paid off as attack on titan season 2 finally rolled in. Honestly I have mixed feeling towards this season as one part of me wanted to scream "YEAHHHH IT FINALLY CAME" while the other was saying "oh no....."
I expected a lot from it since it was of course attack on titan, but a part of me also expected it to be a bust and not live up to the hype.
But it took me by surprise
...
when the suspense, drama and action picked up where it left off in the first season. The plot twists kept coming and i kept eating it up like the filthy consumer I am.
Though I was quite disappointed in its short life-span it kept me wanting more...though not as much as when i finished the first season.

As expected, oregairu picked up where it left off and gave me my daily dose of 8-man. Though the anime was very well made and thought out, it kinda stayed in the shadow of the first season.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the character progression and how they exposed the characters to different situations to further develop them.
Though there was a point where things started to get outta control and left my head spinning. Even up to now i don't understand the ending and I still hope for a next season.
But overall it was a very good season and i definitely recommend you to

When my friend recommended this to me I was a bit skeptical at first. With its general tone looking like another genetic slice of life anime. But as soon as I watched the first five minutes I repented for being such a fool.
The anime had a very down-to-earth story line with a character I both relate with and idolize. For me it really was the personality of the character and how he handled different situations that made this anime shine. Along with the classic tropes, there were some aspects that I found fresh and interesting which kept me glued throughout the season.
I can't
...
go into detail without spoiling so I highly recommend you watch it.

As I got up in the morning I looked at my phone and looked at whats next on my watch list. And God forbid it was my time to watch 'GAMERS!'
The first episodes were a lot of fun, perhaps the most I have had in a while. It gave me a whole new take on how different people play and enjoy video games. On top of that the rom-com was funny in and it was genuinely interesting to watch the characters interact.
But sometime mid way the rom com slapped me in the face when each character started to misunderstand one by one. I got a
...
headache from watching all the characters misunderstand and by the end of the anime I suffered from hair loss and a concussion from face palming all the time.
All in all its your not-so-generic seasonal anime that I highly recommend you watch this if you wish to tear your hair out or have a good time.
