In Mission: Yozakura Family, Taiyo joins the quirky Yozakura spy family, each member equipped with unique skills and distinct personalities, which gradually helps him overcome the trauma of losing a childhood friend in a spy-related incident. His loyalty to his wife, Mutsumi, and her family fuels his growth and commitment to becoming a capable spy. Similarly, in Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari, Hyoma is sent to live with Botan and her Tsukumogami “family,” who challenge his hatred for Tsukumogami—a hatred rooted in his family’s tragic death at the hands of these spirits. Though his Saenome clan duties conflict with his growing bond with Botan’s Tsukumogami, Hyoma begins to heal and learn acceptance by seeing them as family rather than enemies. In both stories, the protagonists’ journeys are shaped by loyalty, love, and family support, allowing them to confront and ultimately transform their past traumas.

I've watched a lot of dramatic animes and tragic movies ; I felt sorry for some , I cried for some, I felt pity, unhappiness and sympathy for some. But I felt pain, enormous pain, real grief and had endless tears very rarely. This was the case while watching rainbow and the grave of fireflies which were more intensive due to the hardship and struggles represented.

Both male protagonist faces a situation where they were back-stabbed and even enslaved by people they thought were allies. After facing the horrific consequences of being back-stabbed, Keyaru took the revenge we'll never see in tate no yuusha . This revenge was insanely unexpected with the violence we saw but it was equal to the betrayal and torture he faced so I think it's fair enough. I think redo of healer had a powerful and a viral beginning but I hope that we'll see a better concentration on the fantasy side and the demon-related story . Watch the 2 first episodes and you can judge it ...

Both have an amazing, emotional, slice of life storyline backed by phenomenal scores, and the animation for them is among the best I've ever seen. The main character is an ambitious female who wants to learn more of life through drawing and ARTE has a tough conversations and plenty of feelings . ARTE and Violet want to upgrade their skills and win the challenges they face . Both are examples of a love it or hate it anime, but if you enjoyed one, I'm almost positive you will also enjoy the other.
