Golden Kamuy
add

Mysterious treasure hunt in 20th century historical Japan with a spotlilght on the struggles of an oppressed minority group who rarely get any focus in manga. The tones are quite different - Golden Kamuy is far more comedic, and Yuureitou has a darker, more supernatural element to it, but overall the two series have different takes on a similar concept.

Kanata no Astra

Almost identical premises - a group of teens are trapped on a spaceship miles away from any hope of rescue, and must figure out how to survive together. Astra is far more lighthearted than Ryvius, though it does have its moments of seriousness.

Blend S
add

The lead male and female characters and the relationship between them are very similar, to the point where I'm pretty certain that the author of Blend S was directly influenced by Soushi and Ririchiyo from Inu x Boku when creating Dino and Maika. In both series, a somewhat masochistic, light-haired bishie falls in love at first sight with a much younger girl who has long dark hair and purple eyes, but struggles to make friends because of her unintentional cold/sadistic behaviour. Their relationship is just limited to teasing in Blend S, but in Inu x Boku a romance eventually develops.

Tomogui Kyoushitsu

Two of the most banal, brainless survival game manga there are. Schoolchildren get gruesome orders from some higher power via text message. Expect a ton of depraved acts and some of the most revolting sex scenes put on paper, all the while adults and common sense seem to be nonexistent.

Shoujo series focused on a teenage girl with a career in an artistic sport. Both series have light fantasy/supernatural elements but are mostly grounded in the real world.

Kakegurui

Psychological manga based around teenagers participating in increasingly intense games of gambling and deception, with a protagonist who seems like a normal person but is actually a complete psychopath. Lots of edge and crazy faces.

A Japanese figure skater's preparation for a world-class event is interrupted by the sudden arrival of a cute foreign boy into their life. Hard work and some romance follow as the pair work together to take the gold medal and achieve their dreams.

Girls & Panzer

Cute, moe girls with a military theme. Sora no Woto has a much darker and more melancholic atmosphere than Girls und Panzer, but both series are heartwarming with likeable, compelling protagonists working together in a team, and strong atmosphere and worldbuilding.

Skip Beat!
add

Both are shoujo series that follow a plucky, spirited young girl through her career in show business. Through hard work and her never-give-up attitude, she perseveres to become a star in her industry and forms many complicated relationships along the way. Skip Beat has a developing romantic relationship, while Kaleido Star focuses more on friendship and rivalries between the performers both on and off the stage.

Ghost Hunt

Both anime revolve around businesses that solve people's supernatural problems. While xxxHOLiC is more comical and lighthearted, both series have a creepy atmosphere and some unsettling scenes.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

If you like vulgar and crude humour, you will probably love these two shows. Both series are a similar short length and are loaded with silly sex jokes and ridiculous levels of swearing. This is the type of comedy where you have to just disconnect your brain and laugh.
