Ahh Darling In The Franxx, the anime I was anticipating to be something completely different than what I actually got. There's gonna be no spoilers or anything in this review, mostly just my thoughts on the aspects of the show.
Story
While I thought the story had a strong concept similar to what is common in Trigger works, it immediately started to become dull and uneventful. Predictable plot devices utilized here and there, and a largely unexplained and undefined goal even on episode 19(The episode in which I have written this review)
Art
The fights looked nice, the character designs were alright with Zero Two being the highlight.
...
The mech designs are weird, opting for more cute uwu faces instead of what you'd see from the Gunmen in say TTGL or the Evas in Evangelion. With the exceptions being the squads outside of the main one that we follow during the show. The Klaxosaurs designs clashed a bit and felt out of place with the rest of the art.
Sound
Pretty standard explanation here but everything sounded nice, whether it be the voice actors, or the sounds during the fight scenes or the music. It wasn't anything that really made me say "Wow" but it did compliment everything else.
Character
Here's where things start to fall apart for me. The main character Hiro comes off as relatively bland with no real character development for quite some time. Zero Two is just a cluster of tropes and waifu bait. All the other characters are pretty unmemorable outside of their one-two plot additions to keep things moving forward.
Enjoyment
Did I enjoy this show so far? Meh, it has its moments. Would I recommend it in a heartbeat or claim that it's comparable to Triggers other work in terms of quality and entertainment? Nope.
I found myself usually either unconnected during emotional parts and bored during fights, though admittedly i'm not really one for fights in animes all that much, they can be nice but it's not what i'm looking for.

Sword Art Online but worse in every way possible and I didn't even know that was possible. Warning I am enebriated as that's the only way of watching this show without dying of boredom.
Story: It's about a game developer working on the development of a game, that happens to randomly enter the world of a game that incorporates elements of the games he's working on. Instead of getting involved he prefers a passive position, observing the world and how it functions. Which is cool and all until you realize nothing happens and it's 12 episodes of him realizing *wow a new feature that is totally
...
standard of RPGs I just happened to learn about!* Then you mix in some fetishistic scenes and pro-slavery sentiments and a lack of a cohesive plot, and bam you get Death March.
Art: The art is alright.
Sound: Same as art, the sound is alright.
Character: There is no character worth discussing, there's Kirito 2.0 and a bunch of side characters that are mostly irrelevant until they are shoehorned in for either fanservice or to remind you that these people that aren't interesting are important too!
Enjoyment: Watching this show was a test of patience and resolve and I think I failed. I didn't enjoy any of this so far. I can't even rely on the cute visuals and sound to say I at least enjoyed that.
Overall: Don't watch this show, it's a waste of time.

I felt like this Manga deserved a review for a long time, the manga itself is a one-shot, I swear, I had doubts reading this, but this Manga also started my absolute obsession with traps and gender blenders. All right, here we go.
Story: 8
Most of the stories are kinda forced to be short, as they are one-shots, but most of them are very interesting and unique, some are the typical, two best friends, one starts to crossdress, and secretly likes the other friend. Sexual and awkward tension between the two, and so forth. My favourite in the Series is "Boys be ambitious girl" With this
...
one it's about a guy whos forced to cross dress for a play. He looks stunning and actually falls and slips showing off his panties, so then he became popular, simple as that. It's quite repetitive in stories, but overall, I personally enjoyed each and every one.
Art: 9
Man, oh man, some of these had some very nice artwork, the guys when they looked like chicks, was pretty interesting. I can tell you right now, I was confused, just like the main purpose of traps. Nothing too spectacular but that really did get me.
Character: 9
Most of the characters in general worked, their overall development in the 30 pages or less they were forced to go through went nicely. Starts off, "what!" then slowly begins to accept and even enjoy cross-dressing, which I found, interesting.
Enjoyment: 9
I swear, I had to hold in quite a few nose-bleeds at some parts to retain my humanity. Every single one I found to be cute, and overall was enjoying to me, this for sure was the strongest point of the Manga itself.
Overall: 8
Read these if you're just starting to read about traps in Manga, trust me, you will NOT regret it.

Ever wish you had the ability to see into the future? even if it's only for 10 minutes or however long? I sure did, which made me interested in this anime.
Now, I'll say I really did enjoy this anime, as it falls under my favourite genres, but let's not get into that and we shall hit the ratings now, shall we?
(My second review, bare with me ;_;)
Story: 9
The story of Mirai Nikki is basically a survival game, you're given a diary that possesses a specific ability, maybe to see someones future? or to see what happens around you? The story is seen through the eyes
...
of Yuki, a lonely kid that finds interest in writing what he sees around him in his diary. He believed to have two imaginary friends, Deus Ex Machina(the god of space and time) and Mur Mur, his servant. He was given a future diary, to see into the future, along with 11 other people, one of which including a friend from school Yuno(my favourite character of all time) who protects him because Yuki is a complete wimp.
Now, I'll say for one, that this idea for the anime is really unique, that it was paced well, and had very strong points in terms of psychological breakdown and other things along those lines. I found episode 1 to be a bit slow, but then afterwards it just went from there, hits you with full force.
The ending was a bit half-assed though, I'll say that now, which is one of the reasons why this aspect did not get a PERFECT RATING, however the story made it very much enjoyable and I enjoyed every part of it.
Art: 10
The art style of Mirai reminds me of that of Deadman Wonderland, very clean and simple, the eyes and structure and animation overall was done nicely. I didn't see very many mishaps on this end, the characters looked unique aswell, some of them a bit generic, but oh well, you really can't stop that. Landscapes and atmospheres gave off the moods of the anime right away, which was very nice.
I had no problems with the art, and I really did enjoy it as well.
Sound 10: Whether it came from the killing of the characters, the voice actors sick laughter and the overall unsettling soundtracks, nobody will know. I loved the opening and ending soundtracks, and recently each characters themes, especially Kasugano Tsubaki - Cries of Avici. The sound effects were very well done as stated, no problems at all, I was impressed and even today, I still listen to the openings, endings, and character themes.
Character: 9
The characters of Mirai Nikki are all very unique, they come from all backgrounds which most of them get explained later on in the anime. The character development was very nicely done, as I said at the start, psychological breakdowns and slowly starting to break down. They did what they did and regretted and felt guilt, it wasn't like some animes where they just have a blank emotion, can't say the same for Yuno.
I enjoyed all the characters, none of them were a bit of a clique, so that was nice, each of them just wants to become god to create a better life, so it's not like they're evil, but in the end, only one will survive lol.
Enjoyment: 10
I very much enjoyed this anime, whether it came from the very gripping plot twisters, or the very conceptual music compositions, I enjoyed it all. I'm very glad I was able to watch this, and in my opinion it's a must watch for a fan of the genre.
Butthurt critics, they can all go and leave, they will give this anime a low score, but rate mainstream animes 10/10, don't ask me why, biased.
Overall: 9.5
I wanted to give this a 10, but some aspects could've done some refining and some work, overall though, I did enjoy it, and I recommend all of you to watch it.
Don't take my word for it, just give an anime a shot, try to disregard reviews.
I hope you enjoyed me review.

Alright, I first want to start of by saying this is my first review I have ever done, so please bare with me, I'll be using the general layout to help me with the foundations of my review.
If you've ever been into a situation where you don't want to school based on how you perceive yourself? Well, I can say for myself that I very much related to the concept of this anime, lacking the hot girls as friends.
I would say for people to read a review with a reasonable rating, I've been seeing 3/10's and even lower, it's only been three episodes, can one
...
really slap on something so demeaning when it first starts out?
Story : 8
The story takes place in 2046, a very interesting date to start off an Anime, as we usually have things from earlier dates, or from the next century, but I won't drag on about that. The main character is Haruyuki Arita, a young boy suffering from bullying and harassment from other students, he finds relief in the net, which allows him to release his anger on one of his favourite video games. One faithful day, one of the most popular students in class notices his ideals and goal sets to always want to be the best in any video game he plays. After awhile she gives him the opportunity to take part in a project called "Brain Burst", basically a fighting game.
I really do love these ideas for animes, as they're interesting and allow for a decently paced, not too fast, not too slow. The main character is chubby? we never see this actually executed in a serious anime, as most people always want their main characters to be perfect, completely biased without a doubt.
I for one relate to the story, maybe that's why I feel it's right to give such a work a good score like this? maybe because in the three episodes(10 chapters in manga, I believe) that this will for sure have potential to impact how things are done.
Art : 9
The art style is quite amazing, for a lack of a better word. Everything is nice and crisp, yet smooth. Landscapes are very nicely done and scenery. Character design is pretty much at the standards and surpassing the standards in some aspects. Many people I found comment on the main characters design, but think about it like this, would he really look better with different eyes given his body structure? maybe some comment on this as chibi'esque, but I don't believe it is.
Sound : 9
The opening and endings for this anime are very nice, and really blend well with the anime itself as a whole, I enjoy listening to the soundtracks occasionally. The opening, sang by the amazing May'n, was amazingly done, the soundtracks played during the anime episodes themselves to give off the mood of the situations really were done nicely, I had no problems what so ever sound wise.
Character : 8
Before I begin on this aspect, I would like to say, this is very early, so we really can't comment on character development and such via different scenarios/situations. The main character seems to be a bit of a wimp, due to how he's treated and such, so that gives off his overall personality, that he really has problems expanding out to other people, maybe he's embarrassed about his weight? People have to think outside of the box before they comment on this aspect.
Kuroyukihime, in my opinion is a bit of a generic Moe, persuades Haruyuki to help her in her little ulterior motive to figure out the secrets and such. Though I consider her one of my favourites, mainly because she can fall in love with a guy like Haruyuki, now that takes a lot of work, and we barely see it, yeah I know, UNREALISTIC ATTRACTIONS, but come on guys, think outside the box, maybe she likes him for how he acts in regards to wanting to be the best?
Enjoyment : 9
I very much enjoyed this anime, how it is so far, after finishing episode 3, I quickly headed over to MF to read the manga of it to where it is currently. I'm already hooked.
Overall : 8.5
A must watch, take my word on it, please don't follow on with the complete biased reviews, I enjoyed this, because I enjoyed it.
