"Clear the Air like Summer Rain... It's Just Another Day Seen Through the Eye of a Hurricane" -MadalPeters
Why?
Because Why Not...
I see rankings as a starter for a conversation about comparing and contrasting Anime and Manga with other people..! I wouldn't go through someone's list and gawk at their Anime/Manga rankings for no reason... How Silly is That!

Rankings are... *sighs*, just the worst. Everyone looks at each number differently.

First and foremost, thank you for watching the video and for subbing to the channel! I really appreciate it!
The OP was quite rigorous as I had to ensure that the audio was cut precisely in order for the video to match, more or less, second per second of the original OP. Moreover, it was (as well as my other videos) all done on the very phone that filmed the entire thing! I'll get started on editing on my laptop once summer hits and I attempt to do a gaming video which is uncharted territory since I normally let the video speak for itself (with the exception of my latest one which I unconsciously did a lot of commentary and filmed myself a lot instead of focusing solely on the environment and the atmosphere I was in). I'm planning on doing it on a game I've been trying to get an a gruesome achievement on for the past 15 years. That game is Left for Dead 2. The main issue is that I myself have to be entertaining in order for the video to look good and I normally don't speak at all when I play video games. Hopefully, the knowledge I've amassed from all the Let's plays I've seen over the years, incorporated with my own style will make the video turn out decent at least.
The skits are actually me and my own dopplegänger, aka myself! It's really challenging to make sure that both my characters appear on my screen in a way that it gives the illusion that they are 2 different people. Since those scenes are filmed in 1 take (meaning I have to change outfits in the same video in order to overlay the different parts in a seamless manner), I have make sure that the lighting remains constant, that I'm standing in the right position (to avoid making one seem larger than the other), that I memorize my lines and properly pause to make sure that I don't talk over myself. It's taxing but the end result is worth it since I actually get to test out the cinematography skills I've picked up from watching movies and videos as well as improve my wooden acting!
I wasn't able to get the signature from Minoru Ohashi, the lead animator behind Cloverworks films like Weathering with You and Suzume, since (unbeknownst to me) I had to actually reserve a spot for it and there were about 50 of them! So despite arriving (what we thought was) early, we weren't able to do so. At least, we were able to watch a cosplay show that added more content to the video!
Happy to hear that the footage looks great on your 4K monitor, although I cannot guarantee that I will always film in 4K since it takes up a bunch of space even for 30sec-1min of filming. I'll need to get an external SSD for future videos. Besides the wooden acting in the beginning and the end, my friend and I did not follow a script at all. Admittedly, we had a plan on what to film as well as take photos of and the bingo card to complete but besides that, we just spoke like we normally do.
I most certainly will not give up on growing my YouTube channel. After all, I am consistent. Yearly uploads don't demand too much work even if I'm busy with Uni throughout pretty much the entire year. I do it, not only to entertain others with my own personal style of cinematography and story telling, but because I enjoy the whole process. The planning, the filming, the choice of music, the cut away gags and the way I'm able to create a narrative in each video that I've made so far. I hope to one day reach 100 videos on my channel despite how busy I shall be in the future. Who knows, maybe I'll even break the 1'000 subscribers mark but I highly doubt it. I will most likely do at least 1-2 videos per year (either of my travels, an anime convention or a gaming video) at the bare minimum which is an achievable objective considering that they take some time to edit.
The ED made me realize something that I shall henceforth apply to all of my videos. Bloopers. No matter how "decent" a video may seem, not everything can be done on the first take. That's what makes videos, at least in my opinion, more entertaining to watch since you get to see a person embrace their flaws and still work with them!
I hope that you'll have a speedy recovery to your arm so that you'll be able to get back on track and strive to achieve that work life balance. For most things in life, temperance, not abstinence, is essential to maintaining a well rounded life style.
Kimi no Na wa was one of the anime, besides Violet Evergarden, Fate/Zero and Steins;Gate, that left a profound impact and cemented my passion for this medium of entertainment. It's been quite a while since I last saw it, about 4 years ago, but I agree with your statement of it being an amazing story of traditionalism versus modernism. The OST and the animation were a marvel to behold.
Again, thank you for the wonderful comments, both here and on the video, and I hope that we both continue to remain resilient in the face of seemingly insurmountable tasks. You keep on going, even if you have nothing to keep on going for.

Heh, love it! Keep chasing those good moments—you're definitely getting closer. Good to hear things are going well on your end. I'm managing everything here as well, nothing serious—I'm safe. Glad you're back, always good to catch up.
About the supporter status—no worries, you’ve already done plenty. Really appreciate it, but seriously, don’t stress. Hope you have a good time wherever you’re headed next.
I genuinely hope that you're able to balance both work and leisure despite the fact that you've been extremely busy recently! Filming a video completely in 4k for the first time surprised me at how impeccable the quality is compared to 1080p!
I shall patiently await your feedback so please do not feel pressured to respond right away.
Your friend

I am glad that you loved the "Bonk!" at the end as I actually smacked my own head with the guitar to produce that sound. Don't worry, I didn't hit myself hard enough to cause any trauma xD!
The video is finally done! I just need to rewatch it a few more times and it shall be published tomorrow, so long as YouTube accepts the songs that I used which should be fine since I don't (or more so can't) monetize anything I publish.
Kind regards,
Ryuji_Togashi
I'm currently in the midst of editing a video that I filmed at an anime convention that I went to recently. Hopefully, I'll be able to publish it by this weekend. I'll make sure to share it to you, if you don't mind.
Kind regards,
Ryuji_Togashi
The best way to remember your birthday is to forget about it once in a while and let others remind you.
Wishing you the best.
Take care,
Fausi.
Thank you, and no worries about the late response—I hope you’re feeling much better now! That stomach flu sounds awful, but I hope you’re back to full health soon. My New Year was nice, pretty low-key, but that’s just how I like it. 😊
I’ll definitely throw some recommendations your way soon. Let me know what kind of vibes you’re in the mood for!
Take care,
Fausi
If you're looking to continue after the main series, here's the recommended order:
Violet Evergarden: Recollections – This is more of a recap of the main series. If you feel like you need a little refresher or quick recap before moving on, you can watch this, but it’s not essential if you already remember the story.
Violet Evergarden: OVA – This is an extra episode featuring one of Violet’s missions. The OVA is a nice watch after finishing the main series, adding a sweet and touching new story.
Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll – This is highly recommended and focuses on one of Violet’s missions, centered around friendship. It’s not crucial to the main plot, but it’s very emotional and definitely worth watching.
Violet Evergarden the Movie – This is the conclusion to Violet’s journey. I highly recommend saving this for last, as it beautifully ties together all of Violet’s emotional development.
So, my recommended order is: watch the OVA after the main series, then Gaiden, and finally the Movie as the perfect ending.
If you’ve finished the main series, you can actually go straight to watching Violet Evergarden the Movie (2020), as this film serves as the conclusion to Violet’s main story. It ties together all of her emotional growth and life journey in a beautiful and satisfying way.
Meanwhile, the others, like the OVA and Gaiden, are just additional stories that aren’t crucial to the main plot. They mainly serve as world-building or showcase Violet’s other missions that aren’t directly related to the major ending. So, if you want to go straight to Violet’s main story conclusion, you can watch the 2020 movie right away.
But hey, enjoy it! No need to rush. This series is quite deep, so taking your time to watch it in a comfortable moment makes the experience even better.
