Life is all of choices. Every second of your life, you have to make a choice, sometimes subconsciously. People you meet will likely tell you to "make your own choices". However, what if you couldn't, and the choices you had to make would be rather questionable? We'll explore this question, as we enter the world of Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru, which I will be referring it to as NouCome.
In NouCome, we follow a simple yet hilarious series of comedic events. With Kanade Amakusa, the protagonist having to face a rather embarrassing choice each episode, it creates
...
laughter within the viewer. However, that is not all there is to it. If this anime only showcased him having to do something embarrassing, it would not have been a fun watch, with the joke probably becoming repetitive. Personally, I believe that the most laughter I gained from this anime was not with the choice itself, but rather the reactions to that choice. The characters' reactions are incredibly hilarious. However, some people may think that the joke would become too repetitive. To that, I say that this anime manages to incorporate hilarious events without the use of Absolute Choice, which is good to see, showing that the premise of the show is not only Kanade having to face the Absolute Choice. Overall, the story of NouCome is quite good, creating many humorous events, without relying too much on it for the sake of comedy.
In terms of technical quality, it was quite average. The art and animation was pretty standard, which did not necessarily add anything to the anime. However, there were some scenes in which it managed to enrich the experience of the viewer. For example, it managed to portray the character's emotions quite nicely, and it was quite creative the ways in which they could showcase the Absolute Choice. In other words, the art and animation pretty decent. As for the sounds, none of the soundtracks left an impression on me. The voice acting was good, but once again, it was not anything spectacular. I did enjoyed the opening, being fun and upbeat, but it would not be something that I would listen regularly. Overall, the sound and art was quite average, with neither of those making a lasting impression on me.
I really liked the characters of NouCome. As mentioned previously, the most fun I had when watching this anime was from seeing the reactions to Kanade's Ultimate Choice. The entire cast was really fun to watch. They were all really quirky, each having an entertaining and different personality. None of the characters seemed similar to each other. Furthermore, none of the cast was entirely similar to any other character in a different anime, although their could be some similarities. Each character had some sort of "gimmick", giving them more personality. Personally, this cast caught me by surprise, as I was expecting clichéd characters with the usual stereotypes. As I saw the characters interact with each other, I could see the depth they had to their character, making me acknowledge that this would not be a usual harem anime, where all characters follow their given stereotypes. Instead, NouCome develops the personality of each character, with the entire cast being somewhat quirky, giving them more individuality.
In the end, I really enjoyed watching NouCome. It was a really fun anime, which brought a smile to my face. I really liked the character interactions in this anime, as they all created a fun and entertaining atmosphere.
If you remember the start of the review, I asked you a question, being "what if you couldn't, and the choices you had to make would be rather questionable?". It is now time I answer this question. Through the curse that is called Absolute Choice, NouCome brings the viewer to an extremely fun and entertaining watch, seeing how the choices Kanade makes influences his life and all the people around him.

I have a strange feeling when reading shounen manga. On one hand, I sometimes find those boring if they utilize common tropes that are found in nearly any shounen manga I read. On the other hand, I love the utilization of these tropes, as they bring forth the essence of what a shounen manga truly is. To make short, the use of these shounen tropes must be used well in order for the manga to be enjoyable. As to where I am going with this, it is simply to tell you that Shuukan Shounen Hachi utilizes these tropes really well.
Personally, the story of Shuukan Shounen
...
Hachi was somewhat boring. I had difficulty getting into it, as it followed the usual shounen formula of someone with low skill climbing his way to the top. As you may have guessed, I don't think that this manga's story is not the greatest. At least for the first part of the manga. Initially, Shuukan Shounen Hachi seems like a plot driven story, which made for a rather weak story due to its unoriginality. However, as more chapters were published, it slowly changed its path to a character driven story. On the later parts of this manga, there is more focus on the relationships between characters, rather than the main plot of the story, being to follow the protagonist's road to success. Put simply, Shuukan Shounen Hachi's story started rather weakly, but made significant improvement as more focus was put on the characters, creating a really interesting group of people to follow, making the story a lot more interesting to read.
Personally, I really liked the art of this manga. It managed to portray the emotions of each character quite well. It helps into showing the intensity of specific scenes, with the art helping into rising the tension. There is nothing else more to say. The art is good, and it manages to compliment the characters and their emotions.
As I mentioned previously, Shuukan Shounen Hachi became a character driven story as the manga went on. As you might have guessed, the characters in this manga are quite good. For the majority, they all have an interesting personality. Although I initially thought that they were carbon copies of other shounen characters, the author managed to bring forth the fun and interesting parts of each character and reduce the more boring elements. For example, the protagonist may seem like your usual shounen protagonist. However, as the story goes on, the author enriches his personality, developing him as a character as he meets new people. Furthermore, the author also uses him as a catalyst in order to bring forth the personalities of the cast. Overall, the characters in Shuukan Shounen Hachi are really good, being developed as the story goes on, with their personalities getting enriched through the interactions they have with each other.
In the end, Shuukan Shounen Hachi was quite a fun manga. Although it initially gives off the appearance of a unoriginal shounen manga, it later becomes a fun ride, following an entertaining group of students. It is a manga that utilizes common tropes, and manages to utilize them in order to show the essence of a shounen manga, enriching the characters, which in turn, makes the story more entertaining to read.

When I finished watching Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan, I had only watch the first season of Fate/Zero, both seasons of Fate/Stay Night UBW and the first movie of Heaven's Feels. As such, I went into this anime with an incomplete knowledge of the backstory of all characters. However, that did not prevent me from loving this anime.
The story follows the usual formula for cooking anime. Introduce a recipe, have people eat it, finish with a heart-warming epilogue. It is a really simple anime, and that is completely fine. By making this anime simple, it allows for the generation of cute and heart-warming scenes.
...
The viewer gets to learn more about the characters, and see how cooking brings everybody together. Overall, although, the story of Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan follows the usual formula for cooking anime, it creates a warm feeling within the viewers, as they see the characters interact and see their bonds strengthening.
If you've watched anything produced by ufotable, you are probably aware of the amazing quality their anime have. Surprisingly, this quality remains with Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan. Although it is only a spin-off, ufotable brought great animation to this series. Being a slice of life anime, there is not a lot of action to animate. However, in the rare moments that there are some, the animation is incredibly beautiful and amazing to look at. As I rather would avoid spoiling these scenes, although there is little to spoil, I won't say what type of action it is, but trust me when I say that it is beautiful. This goes for the art as well. The art is really cute, helping into creating the warm atmosphere I previously mentioned. Put simply, this anime is really well animated, and the art helps create the atmosphere the show is aiming for.
There is nothing much to say about the sound, except that it fits the show. The opening is fun, preparing the viewers for the fun that is about to start, while the ending is really calm, keeping the atmosphere that the last scene has, which is usually a calm and heart-warming epilogue. For the soundtrack, simply put, it manages to portray and help convey the atmosphere of each scenes. I would not say that the soundtrack is exceptional per se, but it fulfills its job to create the mood of scene.
I really liked the characters of the Fate series. They all had interesting personalities, and it was interesting to see them interact with each other during the Holy Grail War. As such, it was really fun to see all of these characters having fun with each other, with all hatred gone. As Fate/Stay Night primarily focuses on Emiya, it was really fun to be able to see the whole cast having a good time together.
Overall, I really enjoyed Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan. It was a fun watch, giving me a new perspective to the Fate series. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Fate series. It's a cute and heartwarming anime, letting the viewers enjoy the cast of the Fate series interacting with each other, creating a warm feeling in their heart.

Persona 3 is one of my favourite games, if not my favourite. Sadly, I did not get the opportunity to play Persona 4 or Persona Q. However, this did not stop me from having a good time reading this manga.
Personally, the strong point of this mange is definitely not the story. Covering only what I assume to be half of the game it is adapted from, I imagine that the author's focus was to simply have an adaptation of the game. As I am writing this review, I recall that there was no major story to talk about. There was still an exposition to give
...
the characters motives, but that was the extent of the story. There is no clear progress or changes as the story goes on, making the cast continue their journey without reaching the end, as mentioned previously. However, considering the game which it is adapted on, the story is not the main point of focus. Rather, it is the interaction between the two casts of Persona 3 and 4.
It is pretty much common knowledge that characters from Persona are amazing. Considering this, many people would expect this manga to reflect the great personalities that the original casts have. Well, it turns out that the authors did... to an extent. I loved the cast of Persona 3 when I played the game, with the game really fleshing out their personalities throughout my play through. The characters of 4 are great too, as well as the two new characters, Zen and Rei. The whole cast is fun, likeable, and quirky, with some interactions being hilarious. However, there is almost no character development, which should be expected of a manga that focuses on two entire casts of games that take around 80 hours to complete. The only character development which I could notice was with Zen, which is probably due to the fact that he is a new character. Overall, no character development can be made in only 10 chapters, with the characters staying the same. However, it does not prevent the cast to be great, with everybody having great personalities, as all characters of a Persona game should have.
Personally, I quite like chibi art. In Persona Q, all of the characters are brought to a chibi form, making the characters to be quite cute. And if you have read some of my other reviews, you would notice that I love cute stuff. I am well aware that chibi art can ruin a manga in the eyes of other readers, but for me, the author managed to use the art style quite well. There is nothing else to say, apart from that the chibi forms of the Persona characters are cute.
In the end, I quite enjoyed the manga of Persona Q, despite having never played the game. I am well aware that Persona Q (the video game) was mostly a way for ATLUS to gain more money from the fans. However, it did not prevent me from enjoying this manga. The sole fact that it is part of the Persona franchise is enough to make me enjoy it. There are indeed many flaws to this manga, but the positives manage to outweigh most of the negatives. Overall, this manga brings the reader a fun time, even if they only have played Persona 3, 4 or Q. I would only recommend this to fans of the series, as the fun comes from watching the characters you know interact with each other, bringing the amazing casts from the respective games together.

This might sound generic, but high school romance mangas seem to get less creative as years pass. It's quite hard to find an amazing one. They either have to bring in a new and original story, or completely nail the already established conventions. 7-Jikanme no Note successfully does the latter.
As you might have guessed from the introduction of this review, 7-Jikanme no Note does not have an amazing story. It follows high school students who are in love, just like every other romance manga out there. But don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing. This manga aims to be cute and heartwarming,
...
and fulfills this goal well. They stay close to their roots, and never tries something too grandiose. There is nothing much else to say. 7-Jikanme no Note is a simple manga, with a simple story that is simply cute and heartwarming.
I will end up repeating myself, but the art is cute and simple, just like its story. It does not have amazing character designs or amazing backgrounds. However, one thing that I can say for sure is that its cute. Compared to other manga, the characters in 7-Jikanme no Note look as if they are in middle school, although they are in high school. For some people, I can understand that they would dislike this, however, it adds to the whole cuteness of this manga. Overall, the art style in this manga fits perfectly its story.
At this point, it should be pretty obvious. Everything in this manga is cute and heartwarming. And this goes for the characters as well. The protagonists, which is the couple, are simply adorable and have some of the best interactions I have seen between couples in manga. However, if these characters were alone, they would probably make for bland protagonists. This is how the author of 7-Jikanme no Note creates such great characters in my opinion. It is not the characters that are amazing, but rather the interactions between those. And it goes for the side characters as well. The interactions between all of them are either cute or heartwarming, or sometimes both, which allows for the characters personalities to be emphasized even though they do not necessarily have an exceptional one. All of the characters complement each other, creating for great characters and great interactions.
If you did not guess by now, I love cute and heartwarming manga. I had a fun time reading it, which is all that matters in the end. It is not the best manga I have read, but it still brought forth a really enjoyable read.
In the end, 7-Jikanme no Note is a really good manga the I would recommend to anybody who likes simple, cute, and heartwarming romance stories. It does not bring anything new or special to romance mangas in general, however, it allows it to bring forth a really enjoyable read. Consider giving this manga a shot for something sweet and simple to read.

People like manga for various different reasons. Some people like them for the intense action, others for the overwhelming drama. I like this one for being a simple light-hearted slice of life.
The story is simple. Like many other 4-koma manga, it lacks a clear plot. However, I think it doesn't need one, as the cute and light-hearted jokes compensate enough for it. The concept of communication through paper airplanes was also very cute, which added helped into giving a nice feeling to me whenever I read it. This manga never tried to build up a story. It just brings forth new light-hearted jokes, which each
...
of them making me chuckle. Don't start reading excepting to laugh hard. The story may be described as somewhat lacking, but the rest of the manga make up for it.
I love Matcha Haruki's art. She has a completely unique style that I think helps with showcasing the every feature of her manga, may it be story or characters. If I could describe her art style in one word, it would be "cute". Despite it being slightly simple, it is enough to bring out each of the characters' emotions close to my heart. Every panel has enough detail put into them, including backgrounds and characters. Overall, the art helps with expressing the story, and adds a nice atmosphere when reading, with a completely unique art style.
I really enjoyed the characters of Kimi to Kamihikooki to. Although some people argue that the characters are bland and inconsistent, it doesn't really matter when they are as cute as they are. They are not that impressive as characters if they were alone on a page, but when talking about their interactions, that is a whole other story. As you might expect, all of their interactions are light-hearted and cute, and give a warm feeling to me when I see them all together. Characters don't need to have complicated personalities in this kind of setting, they just have to match with the story, be somewhat realistic, and manage to create a warm atmosphere when ever I see them.
In case you didn't know already through all my praise of it, I really enjoyed reading this manga. I simply love everything about it, from the art to story to the characters. Although the story was somewhat lacking, I enjoyed every moment I spent reading it, and is something I would definitely re-read.
Overall, Kimi to Kamihikooki to. is a nice, cute, heart-warming, and light-hearted manga that would definitely make you smile.

Nobody in this world is perfect. That was what we were learned when we were small children. However, this statement is proved false, with Sakamoto proving otherwise. In the world of Sakamoto desu ga? we explore the life of Sakamoto, showing us the very definition of cool.
In my opinion, comedy anime never need an amazing story. They just need to have good reasons to make us laugh. Although the story isn't the most original, it is certainly good. To have the perfect person encounter the different problems people bring onto him was a good story that brought hilarious over-exaggerated events. To keep it simple, the
...
story is good, not amazing, but is enough to make anyone (relatively) laugh hard.
On the technical side, the overall quality was good. The sound wasn't amazing, but it definitely wasn't bad. Overall, the sound was good. On the art and animation sides, it was really good. In most cases, it was okay, with the usual animation we see in other anime. However, when it is time to show the coolness of Sakamoto, the animation skyrockets. Everything suddenly becomes more intense, and the animation helps showcase that. Overall, the art and animation is decent for most of the time, but have some "sakuga" moments that help to show how cool Sakamoto is.
When talking about characters in Sakamoto desu ga?, the first character we would think of is Sakamoto. However, if you didn't know, there are other characters in this anime (Wow, who would have known! My mind is blown!). Despite having the whole series revolving around Sakamoto, the characters are just as interesting, and do have a bit of development to them. Many side characters are fun to see react to the crazy things Sakamoto pulled off. As for Sakamoto, he does not get any development, as there is nothing to develop. He is just too perfect to be changed. While some may think that is a problem, thinking that he will eventually become a boring character, which is not entirely false, but can be forgiven because of his coolness. Overall, the characters good, with some of the supporting getting a bit of development.
Are you familiar with a decrescendo? If not, it is a decrease in loudness, mostly used in music. That is a reflection of my laughter. I started this anime with a laughter at ff, or fortissimo. After a few episodes, the decrescendo was dropped on, reducing my laughter to small giggles. If you didn't understand that, it basically means that the jokes started becoming repetitive, making them somewhat predictable, and not making them have the full effect they would have initially have on me. However, that does not mean that the anime will be boring by the end. There will always be a few surprises awaiting inside an anime. Once those are revealed, be ready to laugh. Overall, I really enjoyed watching this anime, despite it becoming predictable by the end.
Overall, I really enjoyed watching this anime. It is a hilarious comedy series that made me laugh every single episode. Although I mentioned that it gradually repetitive, it can easily be forgiven, because this show is just that funny. Overall, I would recommend you giving Sakamoto desu ga? a try, if you like any hilarious over-exaggerated events, and don't mind having the same joke repeated somewhat continuously.
